This is a completely slimy company that should be ashamed of themselves. We prepaid for a shipment to be picked up and delivered, with specific instructions to call before picking up. No call, and they claim they came by and didn't pick up the merchandise, but it was gone. So they apparently stole our merchandise and then claimed it was our fault for not being there. And BTW, the stated time of the pick-up was midnight! No refund -- no apologies -- no accountability whatsoever. They are awful!

Order #*******768. Was in at CLASS 65, like i have been for 25 years - they allow their shipper to change my class on this 1 order to class 125 - and charge me an additional $2000? Basically highway robbery. Looked it up and Custom Transport inc. has 50 - 1 star reviews. How do you allow companies like this on your platform? They are stealing from all your customers.
They said my pallet was lager and it weighed more than what I got a price for. I sent in the documentation they asked for to Leticia and then I tried calling her with no answer response. After about 6 days they charged my card an extra $327.00 I wish I would have check the reviews before I used them. The freight did come on time. The thing that made me upset was I had no response from Leticia, the Disputes Representative. I might not have bought it if I would have known how high the shipping cost were going to be.

STAY CLEAR! I paid to ship a birthing tub from Massachusetts to my home in Iowa. It was delivered on July6,2017. The packaging was clearly torn and the side was damaged/cracked. A leaking tub is of no use! I had purchased the shipping insurance and was told it would cover anything that might happen during shipping. They refuse to repair the damage and will not even return my calls. The shipping agent, Calvin, did the best he could to resolve this issue. It is Freightquote and their insurance carrier, Roanoke, which refuse to honor the insurance policy, after I sent all the documentation requested. Please beware!
This company calls often, not to sure why all they leave us is a voicemail saying they are trying to get ahold of our business about upcoming shipments. They do not want to talk to us. they leave a message every time. Then we try to call them back but can not get a hold of anyone regarding our "up coming shipments" One day the lady on the phone accidently pressed the option to actually speak with us not just leave a voicemail. She actually told me she was just trying to leave a message nothing more. WELL STOP CALLING! Very odd behavior, I would beware! Most likely fraud.
They held my pallet somewhere for two months and then charged me additional $2000 to "save" it. I never authorized that additional charge and had to go to small court to recover. Once they realized that I'm going to court they reversed course and refunded me. Total SCAM.
I use them for 2 shipments i was quoted price and i paid both times and both times they have send me invoices again for adding over $400 more for calling it weight adjustments. They are scammers. Just lotting people in different way.

I've been shipping freight for more than 20 years and use calibrated scales and always round up on dimensions and still they always find some BS way to lie and add a surcharge. Most recent was about the weight of 5 truck tires, Wade Trucking Iied about the weight so I was *******@200 claiming it weighed 300 lbs more than it did. I even provided Michelins specs sheet for the tires and they didn't care and now threatened to report me to credit bureaus instead of fixing the error.

Freightquote added on an additional fee for residential delivery even though the Freightquote provided a BOL with the instructions "for pickup at the terminal and not to deliver to the customer". What is really unfair is that they are charging me for the error that the trucking company made and take no responsbility even though they provided the BOL with the instructions.

I got a quote to ship and when the trucking company came to pick up they said the item was too long. I entered all of the info in the system when I requested the quote. I was then told that I need a special truck after I gave my customer the quote and signed a contract. The cost would have been much more so I was forced to deliver the item myself. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

I prepaid for a load on 10/12 for 10/13 pu between 12pm-4pm. Followed up with FQ at 3pm to make sure the truck was loaded and they said "the load was never confirmed with the carrier, so their is no pu confirmation on their board." I was told they would get the pu confirmation setup with the carrier for 10/14 between 12pm-4pm, but seeing how it was already 6pm EST the carrier was closed, so they had no guarantee that the carrier would even load on 10/14. I told them I demand a reduced price as I paid upfront for a service of pu on 10/13 and have a rate confirmation proving such. I am fairly certain this will not get loaded today on a FQ carrier's truck, so we are forced to recover an LTL load to FL on a Friday.
I used freightquote in march 2022 and it was mostly okay. I used them again in June 2022 and it was by far the worst shipping experience of my life. Over the span of 2 weeks they scheduled my pickup 5 different times and days. After each time they failed to pickup my shipment I was PROMISED it would be picked up tomorrow or the next business day. This involved me setting the pallet up each time and tearing it down and bringing it back inside each time. I even had to miss work multiple times. I was lied to by freightquote representatives on the phone and once they claimed my shipment was picked up and marked it as such... it was not. After all this they finally managed to pick my shipment up and it was multiple days late than their estimate at time of pickup. You would think they would toss me a partial refund on my order for the insane hassle they caused me. Nope. Instead they decide to try and upcharge me a $60 fee. I paid for liftgate at both ends and my pallet weighed 140 pounds and was small. Should never of had an upcharge. Furthermore I investigated my bank account and found they had charged me the same bull$#*! fee on my first shipment in march a month after I originally paid. Do not use this scummy company.

Lost my shipment of $27,000.00, will not communicate with me any about it, ignoring the exporter and my information request. I am now having to file a law suite against Carol Lin, The company, the import broker and trucking company for my losses. They will not even allow me to file a claim for the loss, so we have to sue. They are also dishonest advising us to lie about value and contents of shipment, or I would not receive it. I would not lie, it passed customs anyway so they now say their trucker absconded with it ( this is what they say happen). I have this info recorded and have turn over to our attorney. The are cooked and dishonest.
This is the very last email Carol lin sent to me. They have cut off all communications.

In addition, the driver never assigned a PRO number to the load, so there is no way of tracking it.
