I enjoy this trivia site. The daily quiz is good, wish it was on the weekends as well. And the Trivia Dual is fun. I don't use all the different quizzes and tabs yet since I'm new to it, but I hate to miss a daily quiz. And it's free - can't beat that! No annoying pop up ads or ads you have to sit through before you play.

It was the first site I joined the day I got home internet, and after 5 years moderating, writing 36 quizzes and seven crosswords, and meeting a number of members over the years I'm still going strong 16 years later. It's a real community.

I have been a member of Fun Trivia for about 20 years now and I really enjoy the camaraderie, mental stimulation and fun the site has given me over the years and continues to give me. There are numerous ways to get involved and I can recommend most of them - new games and challenges are added frequently.
The thing that I enjoy the most are the members. I have met some interesting people from all over the world, some of whom have developed into good friends.

Useful as a learning tool. I don't really want to learn about Hollywood, or about television series, but I find it useful to brush up on, and learn new information about, history, literature, geography, etc. I am not worried about how I rate compared to others - I am not playing to best others, but to better myself. If that is your goal, and if you have the ability to discern what it is you want to learn about, I think you will find it a useful, and entertaining, site...

I can't stand loosers who complain about the $38 a year gold membership. Or $20 for 6 months. Try being in Canada as it is based on US dollars. Let me ask you what you spent on porn sites last year? No? How about your Netflix? No? Your ISP server? You get everything free? Congrads.! 38 bucks works out to just over 3 dollars a month. Quit smoking, give up fatty chips while playing FT, and go collect some empties for Christ sake. While FT has a lot of problems, in one form or another, the $38 a year is not one of them!

I joined funtrivia in 2005, wrote 128 quizzes on a variety of subjects, using the screen name Cymruambyth. I never had any problems or comp[laints about the site - and I don't agree with others who cite rude editors or cheating in their reviews of funtrivia. I never experienced any problems until last year (2013), when, for reasons unknown to me, and for which I received no explanation, I was summarily banned from the site. I have tried to regain entry but have had no success. If Terry Ford or anyone from funtrivia reads this, please contact me at this e mail address (*******@stjohnscathedral.ca) and let me access the site again. I really enjoyed writing and playing the quizzes. Thank you.

I got 15 or so badges, then got banned for no reason from Funtrivia. Don't waste your life! You will probably have better things to do then waste your life on this piece of garbage.

They definetly rip you off! I hate this site believe me people this is NOT worth your time! I'll hand it to them, funtrivia has a good concept behind it, but then again, a lot of sites do! Funtrivia rips you off! You can't complete half of the challenges unless you pay 38 DOLLARS A YEAR! For a WEBSITE. Oh and by the way, 20 DOLLARS FOR 6 MONTHS! That is a JOKE. And by the way, once you play 100 quizzes, kiss your dreams of level 100 goodbye, YOU CAN'T EARN POINTS ANYMORE! It's "too much data" for them to keep track of! Good job funtrivia! This review will stay on the internet for millions of people to read, unless you give me a gold membership, forever. Oh and by the way, this review is going everywhere! FUNTRIVIA.COM SUCKS!

I've been a member for fifteen years or more, and I find the "gold member' fee of $38 a year worth it. The quizzes are generally well-constructed, informative and a pleasure to play. However, the "editors" are quite nearly useless: there are so many errors, mistakes, misspellings, and incorrect punctuation that it's not difficult to find something in nearly every quiz. I've been chastised (almost to the point of being banned) for submitting correction notice: "You're being too picky," This was in response to pointing out that a question had a terminating period AND a terminating question mark. I pointed out that these questions are for sale (bar quizzes, school functions, parties, etc) and that they shouldn't be written so bad that it looked like a fifth-grade dropout wrote them. Haha, that wasn't appreciated. The editors can't really "edit" - they only tell you what's wrong (IF they can see it), and although the content becomes property of the site after submission, correction notices go to the author of the quiz, although that person could be long dead and gone, so it never gets fixed.

Yeah, it's worth it, but don't count on much professionalism from the "editors".

Oh by the way - I graduated with a minor in English and I used to be a professional proofreader and writer for US Govt aircraft trend analysis reports and military aircraft maintenance manuals; I know how to proof.

I think Funtrivia is a great site. I've been playing there for years. Sometimes paid, sometimes not. I've never had a problem with finding something to play. Joining a team was a great thing to do... People to talk to, things to talk about, quizzes etc, I had not found on my own.

Some here have intimated that writing Questions & producing Quizzes are almost required. That isn't true. In one of the big group of challenges, there is a challenge to learn how to write a question. I just didn't do it. Someday I might give it a go.

The people at Funtrivia.com are like people everywhere. I find people are people, they will treat you like you treat them. On every question, there is a place to advise that an answer is wrong. From all I know, Funtrivia wants the answers to the questions to be accurate. And the questions must be clear so that the answers to the questions are clear. If the trivia is poorly written and the answers wishy washy, here would not be fun. It is called *Fun Trivia* for a reason.

I have found the trivia Questions & Answer to be highly varied, both in topic and depth of knowledge. Some quizzes are not timed. There are a few Team Games, (where the teams play against each other). Usually you are competing against other individuals and against yourself.

Then there are the Awards. You can win Badges, and Badgellets. They are cool and fun. You can always win brains too.

I enjoy this site as an entertaining and educational pastime. Competing with myself and some friendly competition with others are bonuses.

There are quizzes on just about any topic you can think of. And if you think of one that's not there you can add your own. I love this sore!

Do not join fun trivia I did quizzes all the time but after 1 1/2 months they locked me out for no reason.

The moderators are extremely and careless. If you decide to be rude back, BAN without a warning. All of my work is now lost.
