This company will pay you when they get to it, random checks of random amounts with no reconciliation. Don't plan on your bills getting paid. Don't expect any response to contacts. Expect to have previously authorized treatments now denied when you show up for them. Expect them to conclude your fractured back issues are pre exiting condition because of "your age". Shall I go on? Fighting this wind on my own since 6/22.
This is the worst company to handle your claim - They do not get back to you via phone nor email. I desperately need an approval for an MRI and nothing is being done. I called my insurance company to find out the status and they don't have any info for me.
I been hurt since nov 23 it took a month to get paid had to get an attorney to even get they pay me 30 percent of my pay for 15 weeks now they pay you when ever they feel like 1 week you will get a check and then maybe 3 weeks later you will get another check.my advice don't mess with them get a attorney. When you decide to go work somewhere else make sure you ask who there comp carrier is if this company stop interview tell them your sorry you can't take job because there comp carrier sucks
I have never had such a terrible experience with an insurance company as this. I was hit by a car insured by this company and was ignored by Gallagher Bassett for almost a month as I tried to contact them to get my unsafe car in for repairs. Once I finally did, they used third party representatives, so something that should have been done quickly took up to two weeks. They eventually totaled out my vehicle two months after the accident and over a month later I still have not received the money from the company. They only send checks and do not do any form of direct deposit and have tried to send me things twice, but sent it to the wrong address both times, despite my correct address being on every report. It has been 3 months since this accident, and I am still trying to get the money from this company.
This company does not care about anything but their own money and have put me into a state of financial crisis because of this accident and their borderline refusal to give me the money for my totaled vehicle.
Gallagher Bassett is extremely unhelpful and doesn't care about actual people, only their own money. If you're looking to get workers compensation forget about it unless you're in the hospital for over a week or on the verge of death. And if you have Adrianna Tueros assigned to your case good luck. The worst person I have talked to in a while, even after it took me two weeks post-injury to get in touch with her. Extremely unhelpful and unsympathetic, just like the company itself.
Worst service ever. Lisa Cole is the just nasty. An to work a job an treat ppl so nasty. I wouldn't work there. God see your actions, the job is getting u guys a first class ticket to hell. Get ready for a horrible experience. Tractor Trailer backed into me - left the scene, I called the police, followed him to get pictures, extremely stressful -now I have to work with an incompetent (in my opinion) claims adjuster. Will not tow my car or order a rental car for me. Asked me if a neighbor could take me to pick up a professional at the dealership bring him back to me house and determine my car is not driveable. Seriously I thought he was joking. My steering wheel is sharply pulling to the left. Jim Holt and Supervisor David - HORRIBLE experience NO car or ability to see my family for New Years. Plus I feel horrible.
This has to be the WORST COMPANY I've ever dealt with in my life! I've never been on workers comp and this company made my first experience horrible that I'll never tell my job again I'm hurt because then I'd have to deal with them! They are incompetent do not answer emails or calls they're nasty as all hell and don't pay consistently! They'll leave you and your family on the street without an ounce of guilt. I really wish hospitals would stop hiring this company to work with them because it honestly shows how much the hospital does not care about their employees subjecting them to this kind of treatment! Unfortunately I believe this company is possibly a scam I've been trying to contact this company for a long time and cannot get a hold of anyone they do not contact me back they did not respond to any emails or voicemails can't get a hold of anyone to help me I have made a claim they have all my personal information and I'm really scared that something bad is going to come of this. In my experience they do not respond to anything. And I have been waiting to hear about my claim. For many many months now. And not have not heard from anyone to help me.
I'm supposed to get paid weekly, at the most bi-weekly, for a workman's comp claim. They have a revolving door with adjusters. I know this because they've changed my adjuster 4 times so far. If and when I get a check, it's 4-7 weeks late. Getting a check@60% of your normal take home pay and 4-7 weeks late destroys your life. All this from a multi billion dollar company is ridiculous. Destroying people's lives by wilful incompetence should be illegal.
Well after reading these few reviews I'm happy to not be alone. My wife is currently waiting on this company to accept or deny her work comp claim. We are sitting at 3 months since her injury. My fear is they will deny it and I'll be stuck paying a lot for PT to get her back in working shape. Or I have another plan should they deny the claim, which seems very likely with their track record. We work for the a University in Nebraska. I would personally not tell anyone to use their service if they are injured at work here.
My company switched to this work comp. I've never dealt with a worse work comp. My adjustors never answer their phones and if I leave a message will never call back either. Was supposed to get first first payment and it still has not arrived 2 weeks later. Their app also won't show what documents they have got just to keep track.
Evil company. I have experienced nothing but grief, hassle, and major inconvenience since filing a claim for worker's compensation. I already had to talk to people at the university I worked at, and someone at Gallagher Basset on the phone! Even though I filled out my form with the stipulation that I HATE PHONE CALLS! DO NOT CALL ME! Email or text is fine. And I had to repeat my story of what happened to multiple people. Super irritating! Next they had the audacity to ask for my medical records for the past 10 years, which are completely irrelevant to my case, save for the visit to the doctor's office for the work injury. And they didn't even provide an email for returning the forms! Just a fax number!? What century are they living in!? All I'm asking is for them to cover the *** doctor's visit and the drugs he gave me. That's it. I feel as if I'm being punished for filing a claim.
I have just read everyone's reviews and mine is the same as everyone else... draining, combative, difficult and took the patience or a Saint to get anywhere and then ended negatively, without feeling understood or really listened to. They are not in the caring business- be prepared for a rough ride.
Once I receiving my payment every week and without any notice they switched to every 2 weeks. So I had all my bills late. I have an attorney luckily. Every 2 weeks were never on time now instead of every 2 weeks or 14 consecutive days they have switched to 2 times a month 14 business days. Without any notice. I should be paid 10 days at 8 hours or 80 hours but now it's 112 hours. Very sad company. Good luck
My experience has been awful. New resolution manager was incompetent with no idea how to change the address they put in the system incorrectly. Payments were cut and back payment owed due to miscommunication through staffing agency, factory, and WC. They tried to discredit my whereabouts on the day of my re-injury to cover themselves and so they could stop payments. I had to get witnesses to confirm I was on an old sweeper that the company said I never used. Just unethical, sickening and had to seek legal representation just to get resolution and to get out of the emotional distress while still injured.
They are a subcontractor for Coaction Specialty Insurance. Same things as everyone. No call back and no respond to e-mails. They gave me an estimate of 2249 but sent me a check for 1849. Called Coaction Specialty Insurance and they told me that their was nothing they can do. Reported them to NJ State Dept of Insurance
I feel sorry for any one who has to do business with this company they have delayed my claim to the point where I will soon lose my truck and my apartment. Will not answer calls or voicemail (more than 2 weeks) truck payment and rent both due medical bills need to be sent to them no responses. Pain is intense and the doctor that they sent me to is not listening to me,
Three nurses over three days ask the same questions about your injury and its circumstances. They are barely intelligible over the phone, and clearly hope the patient will simply go away in frustration. And the only "approved" medical treatment centers are thirty miles from the workplace.
What a joke of an insurance company, never returning phone calls, stating fall statements as they didn't receive information, outright lies!
Getting an attorney that's all I can say!
Our car was totaled, no fault of our own on August 7,2023. Nothing from company until I reached out to them for a response. Our car was actually having a lien put on it. Poor response time, no response to emails or phone calls. Very disappointed
The city where I live uses Gallagher Bassett to handles claims made against any company they use to provide a service. I was given a claim number quickly but the adjuster that was assigned my claim would not return calls or respond to my emails.
Four weeks after making the claim I finally reached the adjusters supervisor who says he reviewed my claim after receiving my voicemail. After about two minutes after I made my complaint about the adjuster he advised he was denying my claim.
No investigation was done to my knowledge as no one from there ever discussed my claim with them.

Candace linbecker an adjuster for Gallagher Basset never returns calls. My specialist office called her two times a week from January until May. She finally scheduled the MRI. She has ignored over 40 calls from Walgreens; they are now closing my work comp case due to no response. I have left over 20 messages to no avail. I finally lawyered up and was told when Candace linebecker is involved NO ONE wants to work ( deal) with her. She does not respond to calls or emails.
I called and asked to speak to a supervisor and was told they have none.
I was hurt on the job on Oct 19,2023 at the Strat Hotel Casino, My worker is Jennifer Garcia who I can never get in touch with, never answers her phone, I leave messages after messages and never get a call back. I waiting on prescriptions to be filled, Dr appointments to be approved, a CHECK WHICH I HAVE NOT GOT ANY MONEY YET. I don't know how this company gets away with ruining people's lives. I just don't understand where the problem is. I'm a single father who is about to lose everything, I'm behind on my rent and car note for the last 2 months, I'm getting ready to lose everything and they don't even care...
