If you use their in home repair service you do to be very wary. They will explain to you why you need a new system. Make sure you get a second opinion before spending big bucks. They quoted me 1800 for a new system and charged me 150 for the house call. Next company fixed the system for 200.00 and it works great.
Tip for consumers:
Be careful of being oversold something new when what you have is repairable.

Great local business that shows why in person is so much better than big box store or Amazon. Get excellent advice and product knowledge and fair pricing. Don't buy cheap crap and for something like a vacuum cleaner, make sure you can get it fixed. Gator can fix it instead of sending it to a landfill with more throw away and disposable products.
My mother is elderly and does not understand tech when her central vac system broke down.
Benjamin the service agent communicated with me via phone and explained in great detail what needed to be done. He was very understanding of my mothers needs. Once I gave the go ahead the work was completed on the same day. Benjamin called me upon completion and I made arrangements to pay the company directly being as my
Mom can not write checks. Price was what I expected being as I had done my research prior. This is a wonderful mom and pop company with integrity.
Highly recommend.
We bought a Sebo/Dart Vacuum almost two years ago. It was a fine German-made machine with 4 different settings. Unfortunately, it needed too much strength to move it on our very dense high quality carpet in one of the rooms. We brought it back to the store expecting to lose the money we paid for it and buy a stronger machine. To our surprise, Robert offered to check the vacuum cleaner and even exchange to a stronger model without charge if needed. He gave us his personal mobile phone number when we left. In two days Robert called us and asked to come to the store. Our vacuum cleaner was completely serviced even though we did not purchase a maintenance plan, the bag was changed, speeds adjusted. Now it works even better than a new one! We will definitely recommend Gator Vacuum Cleaner Store in Coral Springs to everyone we know. Thank you, dear Robert! Wonderful service and a great attitude!
Very helpful staff. Lots of options at all price points. They seem to know what they are doing and are very friendly.
Gator Vacuum delivers professional service and high quality workmanship. I highly recommend them. You won't be disappointed!
Thank you guys for the excellent service... but the vacuum sucks! JK, the Nutone is the best vacuum I've had. Thanks again
Please do not give this establishment your business. Please make sure you read all the negative reviews because they are spot on based on my own experience with this owner. Of course he comes back with a snappy retort on the reviews, as he does in person and on the phone. Pay attention to what other customers have said, really pay attention. I have found the owner to be rude, condescending and pushy. The only time he was ever pleasant to me was when I purchased a product from him. I recently took my vacuum in for biannual service and I was not given back my vacuum. My vacuum had special markings on it and the one returned to me did not. When I approached him, he denied all. I had 50% left on the Hepa filter when I brought it in for service. Without permission, a different filter was installed, dated and the indicator strip ripped off the front of it so I will not not be able to see how much life is on the filter. Absolutely ridiculous. Who practices this juvenile behavior? I suppose this is a way for you to have to buy more filters when he says so. When I questioned this, the owner turned around, walked away and said this new filter was "free". When I asked for my old filter back, he said he no longer had it. Additionally, the wheels on the imposter vacuum given back to me are not working correctly, a back panel keeps falling off, nor will the vacuum stay in a downward position while vacuuming. The nose actually sticks up in the air while trying to vacuum. The vacuum when standing upright will fall over when you use the main hose directly to vacuum. My vacuum when dropped off had none of these issues. I have been interrogated by this owner about where I am buying the bags and filters, how often I vacuum, how often I change the bags and the list goes on. He talks to me like I am a 5 year old being scolded when not taking orders from him. I have finally had it. No more of his obnoxious behavior will I tolerate. Who does he think he is talking to? He needs to check himself. I would rather pay for service than to put up with him every 6 months and even that is too much to bear. He is always trying to upsell you when you go in. Give that a rest already; it is in poor form and you appear nothing more than money hungry and desperate. I could give so many more examples of his behavior but trying to keep this as succinct as possible. Buyer Beware.
