Luckily my credit card alerts me to charges. 890 plus charged to my account by this company. Apparently, they don't check your card very well. I would not use it.
I sent in four phones for an estimated fair price. (I thought it would be easier than selling on eBay but now I know better) 3/4 phones they checked in with wrong information and tried to weasel down my estimated price.
I made 3-4 calls to them to try and fix everything. I believe they just assume you are desperate for money if you are selling them a phone and won't go through the hassle of arguing with them if Gazelle checks them in as completely different items and lowers your estimated price.
Being in this business Gazelle should completely know that the Google Pixel phone is not on an AT&T plan, Verizon has an exclusive contract for the phones or the phones are unlocked. So trying to swindle me out of $$ for each Pixel I sent in by saying they are AT&T phones was a general annoyance.
And checking in a Samsung Galaxy S7 as a Galaxy Active is just silly, they are two very different phones.
When I questioned the mistakes they told me "human error". The whole ordeal took over 3 weeks to fix but it did finally get fixed.
If you have time to keep calling them and questioning them, then by all means send in your items but I am personally done with Gazelle.
I am NEVER purchasing from you again. And until my case gets heard I am going to make LOUD noise. I cancelled my order today, Shanelle told me that you changed your cancellation process. She DID NOT tell this to me the first time I called. She told me she can't cancel the order but that is not what your FAQ says. Very unprofessional. To Shanelle's credit, I know this is out of her control and she was very professional BUT you are a sketchy company. The first time I called I told Shanelle I needed to speak to a higher up. I spoke with Ann, she immediately said she cancelled my order and said I would be receiving an email that it was cancelled. I am concerned because there is NO CHANGE on my order under my Gazelle account. AND I have not received a cancellation email. I called a second time to find out why I haven't received an email and then Shanelle answers-she happens to still have my information open (which is weird) and she tells me "We no longer do cancellations." That is NOT WHAT YOUR WEBSITE STATES: https://www.gazelle.com/help/faq/buy/question_20. Until this changes, she should be able to cancel my order and it shouldn't take a long time. I was told by Ann that she couldn't give me a time frame on how long it will take for me to get my money back so I am going to file a claim with my bank. This is wrong and immoral and sneeky. If you want me to take this down, I would like my claim to be dealt with NOW. And cancelled NOW. I'm going to post this EVERYWHERE so NO ONE orders from you.
I took the extra Amazon bonus, which was nice, and it all happened so fast. I know I could have gotten more selling on eBay but not having to deal with the hassle was well worth it.
My old ipads had water damage to them and gazelle gave me $120 for one and $25 for 2 other ipads that were old and broken. I also bought a refurbished ipad and its in good shape!
I bought a computer from Gazelle last September. 2014 Macbook air. Not even a year later, and almost $1000 later, the entire logic board needs to be replaced. I was told by tech professionals that the computer itself was faulty and sold to me faulty. Gazelle said it isn't their problem after 30 days. OH AND THEY DO NOT REFURBISH THEIR TECHNOLOGY. Another party does it. They are a scam middleman. DO NOT TRUST THEM. WASTE OF MONEY.
My experience with Gazelle has been great! I sold an iphone, ipad, and Macbook pro to them. In two cases, they thought that the items were worth more and paid more than quoted. The most difficult part of selling was boxing the materials. They should offer discounted materials.
I had a MacBook Pro and a couple of iPads we'd replaced. The older iPad wasn't worth a lot, but we'd like to think some young person somewhere will be happy with the newer iPad and the laptop. Gazelle made the whole thing pretty simple. I had to provide my own boxes, but the process was a snap. I think I'll use Gazelle again.
Gazelle was quick in sending me my money for my phone. While I wish I had listed my phone higher since it had virtually no scratches even though it was used, overall the experience was painless and seamless.
If you have about one week to sell your phone- Gazelle is the way to go. Highest price paid, very easy set up, easy shipping all done by Gazelle. Both devices i have sold through Gazelle, was paid more than any other site I looked at
Gazelle made selling one of our old powerbooks simple. The price was competitive and they send the shipping packaging so the entire experience is very easy.
Purchased a 64GB iPhone X from Gazelle because I bought a MacBook Pro and had a good experience and was hoping for the same. IPhone arrives and i goto AT&T's website and do an IMEI check to find out that the iPhone is still being paid for by the original owner. Contacted Gazelle thinking they would cross ship a new phone with me. At first they said they would have to put me through a return process and i pushed them on it because i wanted an exchange not my money back. They said in order to ship me a new device they would need to see that the "stolen" device they sent me was in shipping back to them. I now feel that i have no device, no money and no recourse. Have not received any information from them, since they now know that there getting there device back without having to show proof that a different one is on its way to me. Someone should report them to the BBB, and perhaps with the ability of people to finance equipment they may need to change there business model. This can work if they can get co-operation from the carriers and only then can it work. Going to try again to get them to ship me a different device.
I cannot believe this is even happening. I submitted my IPad Air 128 space gray flawless condition to receive a price of 240. They received this exact iPad and lowered my offer to 130 as they claim they got a 16g WiFi only. I gave pictures and emailed them to the powers that be hoping for an honest re-evaluation of the correct iPad. Somebody in shopping did a switcheroo. I am needless to say pissed beyond belief. PS who even buys a 16g for $#*!s sake;
Gazelle was quick with sending a box to return my phone. Then I received a check soon after. I highly recommend Gazelle.
Fair prices, easy to work with. Great place to deal with. Fast and easy to understand directions. Will use in the future.
Had the utmost confidence in sending my tech stuff to Gazelle, and it was a very easy transaction! I feel I received the right amount of money for my stuff...
Do not sell to them! I've sold two things to them and both times they tell me there is significant damage or scratches and there were none when I shipped it to them. Then they offer you half as much as your quote or they will return it to you.
It was pretty reasonable price for my iPhone. Will definitely keep bringing more phones when I need a little more cash. They also have phones for a reasonable price as well.
Straight forward no fuss way to turn your unused cell phone into cash. I have used in the past and will use again.
My husband and I sold our iPhone 7 phones to Gazelle and the entire process was so simple and took place smoothly. Next time I have my old phone to sell I know the right place to come back to! Keep up the good work, Gazelle team!
Answer: No experience with that. Experience with their staff and their customer service, don't fo business with them. My phone was returned in October, and I still have not received my refund. They finally sent me an email saying my return was received, in December but tracking showed it received in October, and still no refund.
Answer: I would not buy from or sell to Gazelle regardless of what they claim.
Answer: No! Dishonest! Had to file a dispute with my credit card company tinged my money back and that took 3 months
