Good service and a fair price. Service was sure fast, accurate. I will use them again in the future as I have tech gadgetstosell.
I ordered a used iPhone 6. The delivery date was set for Friday Sept 14th. I receive a text while I'm at work (that's how I pay for things) saying delivery failed, signature required. Outstanding, so now on Saturday, or Monday or whenever I get to drive to the post office, wait in line and then "probably" get my USED iPhone. I cannot setup a redelivery because of the hours I work and crazy changing schedule I have. In the past 12 months I've ordered two apple watches, an iPad and an iPhone X from Apple, and NONE required a signature (along with numerous other high value items from other companies. I called Gazelle to complain and got a hard time (I couldn't believe that) from a 2nd level supervisor. I said you need to add into your delivery choices a statement that says "This Item Will Require a Signature Upon Delivery". He thought that was unreasonable and told me "we have always done it this way". WOW, what a great response from a 2nd level company supervisor. I don't need to do business with a company that uses USPS (too many other superior choices), a company that can't spell out what's going to happen with your delivery, or a company that gives me static when I call and say "sorry I failed to take the day off from work so I could wait around like a dog all day for the delivery". In the end there are just so many other better choices of companies to deal with.
I will not use these guys again. I was going to use them to sell my iPhone 6s which was in mint condition. It had a screen protector and was in a case its entire life. Before sending it in I removed the screen protector and cleaned the screen. The phone looked perfect and I even sent it back in its original box.
After they got it they came back with an offer 40% less than they originally quoted claiming the phone was scratched. What a bunch of bull...
Needless to say I declined that offer which was the same I could get from a standard trade-in with Verizon. What a waste of time.
After purchasing an iPhone X for $960, I had to keep calling them to follow up on my order and to get updates on my shipping (paid expedited shopping). Few days later I received the phone. Tried activating the phone and turned out to be a stolen phone! It was such a hassle having to deal with no phone since I tried to activate my line with the iPhone X, Verizon suspended my account for a stolen phone. Had to go to Verizon and had them reactive my old phone and give me a new sim. I will never deal with gazelle again. I just hope they'd refund right away!
I got a great price for my iPhone 7 plus ( 280.00)... Received Fed Ex Shipping label immediately... shipped the same day... got paid through PayPal within the week and to my surprise they added another 15.00 to the refund... have used you in the past and am going to continue in the future... Thanks guys
Gazelle never disappoints! Highly recommend for anyone looking to sell their Apple devices. This is my 3rd time or so I have used them and very pleased with the service as well as the competitive payments when selling an Apple device. Be that an iPhone, iPad or Mac computer.
This is the 3rd electronic I've turned into Gazelle. I just love that I get a little cash for something that was just collecting dust in my apartment.
I'm a student in college and obviously in dire need of some sort of computer. After mine was broken by another person last year, I finally was able to purchase another through refurb me. Which rerouted me to gazelle and I purchased a macbook air from their site. The laptop will not charge and will not stay on unless connected to the power source. Which means I cannot use it unless I am at home or just so happen to be next to an outlet while in public. I dont even understand why the computer was approved to be resold considering it doesn't even work properly. I have tried every single thing to fix the issue and have researched for hours in hopes of finding any helpful info. The company told me they would issue a refund after I sent the laptop back, but I purchased mine at a sale price and will not be able to get the same laptop for the same price. I cannot believe I wasted my time buying from this site that isn't helping me in anyway. I have assignments that need to be done, not to mention the added stress of having to figure out what to do about a new computer. I try to have a positive attitude towards online resellers but clearly, I shouldn't.
Immediately after posting my negative review, I was contacted by a customer support specialist. They apologized and offered to honor my original quote of $285. All I had to do was re-send them the broken iPad Pro, which they said never should have been returned, with a free label they sent me. (It was addressed to someone in Operations, so I assume this matter is being researched!) As soon as the device was picked up by FedEx, they began processing my payment. I change my review of this company completely! Sometimes things DO work out and people ARE honorable.
I was given a $285 quote for my 12.9" 128gb 1st Gen iPad Pro by Gazelle.com. It had some small scratches, which lowered the price from $305. I desperately needed the money, so I accepted it.
They sent me a large Gazelle logo'd box with heavy padding on the inside. When packing, I kept the device in its official Apple case, as well as the official cover/keyboard. This was an extra measure to keep it protected. I also included the power brick and cord, as requested.
A week later, I received an email that the device was cracked and heavily scratched and that they'd adjusted the offer to $115. Assuming this was an error or exaggeration, I declined their offer and opted to have the device sent back to me.
I received back a small, unmarked poorly padded box containing my device. The top of the screen looks like it was hit with a hammer. It was not in this condition when sent in - it is now unusable. I had to check the serial number to make sure it was the same device. Also, they removed the Apple case, keyboard cover, power brick and cord. They did Not bother to return these accessories.
Instead of an expensive item with costly accessories, I now have a broken, useless device and nothing to show for it.
My mistake - trusting a company to treat me fairly. I should have taken a video of myself packaging and sealing the items in their box. One should normally not have to go to such extremes when acting in good faith. This must be why I have now discovered that the company, while advertising as a member of the Better Business Bureau, only has a 2 star rating.
I will tell every person I know, post on every social media site I use and submit every review I can to warn others as to how I was treated and to avoid Gazelle. All I have is my word versus theirs. That should be enough - but apparently in the world today, you cannot expect organizations to be honorable.
Be safe. Do not use Gazelle.com. Don't let them do to you what they did to me.

I recently purchased 2 iPhones from Gazelle. The first one could not make outgoing calls and I returned it. The replacement died within 60 days and when I took it to three different repair shops none could fix it because several different components were not working. Gazelle refused to do anything because I had the phone in my possession for more than 30 days. One the second phone the camera stopped working after 45 days.
Found the phone on Gazelle's identifier, rated the condition of the phone, agreed to terms, waited for the postage-paid box to ship the phone in to arrive in my mailbox, packaged phone, put package in the mailbox, waited a few days for Gazelle to receive it, payment sent the SAME day it was received. Turn around time approximately one week. Repeat customer.
Gazelle's policy appears to be to offer an inflated price online to lure you in, then downgrade the offer once they receive your device, usually to what you would have received had you sent it directly to the manufacturer. In my case I had an iPad that had been in a sturdy case with a screen protector since I bought it. Their online offer was $85. Since Apple was offering $70 I took the Gazelle offer. Within days I had received the shipping box and I sent the iPad to them. A few days later they reported back that they were only going to pay me (wait for it) $70. Apparently, it acquired numerous scratches in transit. Mmmm. It was used. I don't deny that. But it was also protected and well cared for. It had never been dropped and rarely left the house. I have sent devices back to Apple and always received what they said they would pay. I think, to get the $85 from Gazelle I would need to have sent my iPad in its original box, unopened, still hermetically sealed. Their response included a take-it-or-leave-it offer I could accept the $70 or they would send it back to me in which case I would send it to Apple and get $70. There was no option to appeal their assessment. Of course I accepted the offer. I subsequently wrote to customer service to express my dissatisfaction with this practice only to learn that I could have appealed the assessment except, well, gee, I had already accepted the offer so it was too late.
So, I give them two stars because they were prompt but that's as far as it goes. Everything else about my experience with Gazelle says to stay away. Apple delivers what they say they will deliver. You will probably get the same deal from Gazelle, but they will mislead you and offer you more to get your business. If that doesn't bother you go for it, but I won't do business with a company that treats people like that.
I have sold back an old iPhone and a very old MacBook to Gazelle and with both pieces of equipment, not only did I get paid promptly but got paid more for my iphone than originally estimated. The packaging they send is top notch and easy to use, great communications and immediate payment as soon as they receive the item.
Title says it all. No bait and switch, slow pay, or any negative activity. Gazelle paid approx 20% more than my service provider or Apple was offering. I am more than happy with the outcome of two separate transactions.
This is the second time I've sold a Macbook computer to Gazelle. The first time, they increased the dollar amount paid because they felt the computer's condition was better than I'd described. This time they agreed that the computer was in excellent condition and paid me top dollar for it. I am very impressed with the timeliness of their operation. The shipping box arrived in just a few days after my order. But, what really impressed me, was that they received my computer on a Saturday and processed the order that day. I received three emails that day... first that they'd received my computer, second that the condition checked out just as I'd described it, and third, that a check was in the mail. I received the check by US mail on Wednesday and couldn't be happier. To be honest, I checked out the competition at Apple and Best Buy beforehand; but found Gazelle's offer to be competitive and appreciate receiving cash rather than a gift card only usable at a retail store.
Great communication during the process and they offered a good price. Have used Gazelle many times and have always been impressed.
I can always count on Gazelle to give me the most money for my product. They make the process easy and quick and I don't ever have to worry about anything. This is the way to sell your old phones, tablets and computers.
I sent them two phones, both of which were in like new condition. Rather than go through the hassle of selling them locally, we decided to sell them to Gazelle, The offers seemed somewhat fair, so we sent in the phones. The Galaxy S5 offer was settled after inspection, but for some odd reason, the iPhone 6 offer was degraded to less than half of the original offer. I was in no way going to accept this, but my wife simply didn't want to deal with selling it, so I VERY reluctantly accepted.
But I will say this. There were zero scratches, or blemishes of any type on that phone. If either of them were going to fail an inspection, it would have most definitely been the S5, but no, it obviously ended up being the most expensive of the two that somehow didn't meet their requirements. Neither of these phones ever spent a single hour out of their cases, protected front and back. Once they were taken out for shipment, they looked like they'd just been taken out of their original boxes.
I wouldn't trust Gazelle again. I'll chalk this one up as a learning experience. I won't do business with them again. My biggest regret is not having photos of the phones before I sent them so I could post them for everyone to see. Never did it cross my mind that I should do that, but I sure do wish I'd have done it now.
I was given a written offer for a Macbook computer. They sent me a box to send in my computer. After I mailed the computer (and before they received it), they sent me an email rescinding offer saying there was a computer glitch that offered too much money for the computer and that they would send my computer back to me when they received it. 3 weeks later, I received my computer without the charger that I had also sent in. I sent an email and tried to call asking that my charger also be returned but never got a response! New offer was $300 less than original offer :(
Was offered $130 for my Samsung 7 edge. After it was received - Gazelle
Wanted to pay me $35! The phone was exactly as I had advertised. Had them send it back to me. Not doing business with a company like that.
Answer: No experience with that. Experience with their staff and their customer service, don't fo business with them. My phone was returned in October, and I still have not received my refund. They finally sent me an email saying my return was received, in December but tracking showed it received in October, and still no refund.
Answer: I would not buy from or sell to Gazelle regardless of what they claim.
Answer: No! Dishonest! Had to file a dispute with my credit card company tinged my money back and that took 3 months
