I think Gazelle provided quick service and a fair price for my devices. I would use them again. It was easy to use the prepaid mailing containers which were sent ahead of time. Upon inspection of one device they even upped their offer and paid me more! Extreme honesty.
Stay away from gazelle my phone was flawless they told me it wasn't. I asked for my phone back and they deliberately put scratches on it I use a screen protector and spend a lot of money to keep my phone safe. I am so disgusted and aggravated that people could actually do this they ruined my phone now I can't get the full amount I should be getting from another site.
After reading all the 1 star reviews, the switch/bait scam that Gazelle is running, the lag in payment as promised, the phones not received. WOW, I have never, ever read so many negative reviews in my life for any business or product. I will stay away from this company and try and sell my cell on Craigs List or EBAY. I'm glad to see actual people who have had dealings with Gazelle be brave enough to post their complaints. This helps us out here who were considering using them.
This is the second time I have used Gazelle. Each time it was a quick, easy procedure. They send everything needed with simple directions to follow. There was a small scratch on my phone, so I rated its condition as good. I received an email saying that my phone was better than my rating, so they added five dollars to my check - not much, but definitely appreciated!
Luckily I read some reviews prior to sending in my iPhone. I went through the entire quote process and they offered me $45 for my perfectly fine iPhone 5. Look, I understand it's not extremely valuable but just for kicks I researched their site to see what they were reselling my exact same phone for: $175 and up. I know I won't get that selling to an individual but I may as well sell it locally and try to at least double what they offered me. Ridiculous.
Ordered refurbished iphone on April 22. Had not arrived by May 8, so I called -- no answer. I emailed-- no answer. I called again two days later; after 30 min on hold, got a woman who was unable to explain why order was delayed. I asked for an email the next day updating me. Got email just saying the ordered had been cancelled -- no explanation, no coupon for my trouble, or anything else. Amazing.
Gazelle is an incredible service. It is a very competent company. When I was placing the order to sell my iphone, during the process I had to hit the back button and then proceeded. Their site ended up showing me selling 2 phones so I successfully (I thought) cancelled that order then started a new one. Things got screwed up somehow and they sent boxes for both the cancelled order and my new order. No worries, I just sent my 1 phone to them (in the wrong box) and they took care of it completely and I got my refund. Good job, Gazelle.
I'm very dissatisfied with the support I've received today, 6/18/2018. I was sold into returning this non-functioning phone to Apple to repair the battery, which should have been checked by Gazelle before being sent to me. The phone dropped on the way to the Apple store and the screen was damaged. I can't help but be upset with Gazelle for not offering any other options to fix the phone- which was none! Never again would I purchase a phone from a company that sends defective products and doesn't have the decency to work with their customers!
Truly a bummer. Bought the phone from my daughter in March. We had difficulty with the delivery as she had to be there to sign... Finally get the phone and it doesn't work at all less than 4 months later. Do not do business with these people. Waste of time and money.
I decided to sell my iPad, but it was working perfectly and no damage, looks new when I shipped. They said first they'll buy it $100. After they received it, they said it doesn't light fully and doesn't work properly so adjusted to $16. It is ridiculous. My iPad definitely got damaged when during the shipping or after my iPad arrived at their facility. They provided a box with sponge inside and told me to put nothing more in it. I think the sponge wasn't enough, but I just followed their instructions. They'll return my iPad soon but if it actually damaged as they say, id like some money from them.
I had the choice of selling my 6 year old Mac that was flawless privately or through Gazelle. I could have made more privately but I would have had to field calls, offers and showings. This way was quick and easy with no hassle. When they got my computer they actually paid me more because it was in such good shape!
I sent devices in - no problem there. But buying a device was a bit of a mess... received a non-activating iPhone, and sent it back. Purchased a replacement. There is an entire "claims department" that I kept getting bounced back to, so this must happen a lot. Every time I called (they never called ME to follow up on the return, etc) I got a new Claim ID. Kind of a mess. But, in the end it seems to have worked out... still waiting on my refund though.
I have had good transactions with them in the past, but on this last one they reduced their offer price by approximately the same amount as they gave me for a bonus as a "great customer." I will not use or recommend them in the future. Very poor customer service makes me think that they must be struggling.
Trying to sell my devices to Gazelle. They provide an initial, enticing high offer then come back with a hundred confusing emails and a thousand reasons (which in my experience are untrue) that the device isn't valued at what their initial offer was. They engage in bait and switch and have no effective customer service.

Sent them my new iPhone xs max and they claimed it had an unpaid balance from my carrier. I purchased the phone directly from apple and it was paid in full. Waiting to see what kind of condition it comes back.
Well - it happened to me too. They quoted me $439 for my iPhone 13 in near mint condition and sure enough they evaluated it and reduced the payout to $284. What a joke of a company - stay far far away.
Really easy to sell your product. Just click couple of links and bam you have your quote. Better yet, when you send your stuff in, they check it and actually might increase their initial offer, if the stuff is in better condition. AWESOME? Oh, yeah. Will come back.
I bought 2 iPhone at Black Friday prices. After the transaction had gone through my bank I got a message saying my name is different on the credit card. Which was paid through PayPal. I was asked to buy again today 11/29/2022 but no sale prices.
Gazelle Really!
They sent me an offer of $130 for my iPhone 8 that was in great condition. I sent them everything and then a week later they send me an email saying there are excessive scratches on the phone. There were no scratches on the phone when I sent it in. They said they would now only give me $50. I told they no chance and had them send my phone back. Looking at other reviews they do this to everyone just hoping you will accept the low ball offer. What a joke.
I have used Gazelle three times and each time they are efficient with the process and prompt with the payment. No complains, though the initial entry of the item on their website needs a tune up. There is no simple way to edit an error in the typing of information.

I have purchased in all 3 phones from you. The first two had minimal issues. The third however, had issues from day one. From not ringing to not keeping a charge for even several hours. Finally, less than six months in, I made an appointment at the Apple Store as this phone had become increasingly unreliable. And according to the technician, this phone had water damage, although according to your website, you check for that and do not sell phones with water damage. Apple would not replace the battery for this reason. So less than 6 months in and out $430, I was forced to buy another phone. NEVER AGAIN!
I tried to sell my ipad air 3rd generation and gave me offer of $204. So, I sent them my device in mint condition no damages or any scratches. Then they inspected my device and gave me $81 due to scratches! I emailed them so many time nobody get back with me none whatsoever. I called the customer service no luck always say will escalate but nobody cares. I asked what part of my device were the scratches the agent said she doesn't know. So, I know there's some mistake because my ipad has no scratches even 1 none. I don't know who's item they inspected i know its not mine. I hope they didn't send me other ipad that has scratches! That's wrong and illegal. I really don't trust this company worst customer services ever.

Gazelle is the worst company to sell your device! Worst customer service! Worst overall!

My phone was great until one day about 4 months later it started falling apart. My screen literally came undone from the frame of my phone. I didn't do anything out of the ordinary. I emailed them and said they were unable to help my past their 30 mark but after reading the other reviews here I wish I would have known. I would have paid the extra money to get it from Apple.
A co-worker told me about Gazelle. I had always used Amazon in the past to sell my old phones, but it was quite the process. The process with Gazelle is so quick and easy. I would recommend selling your items here all the time.
I tried to trade in a phone that I had purchased as a temporary phone while I waited to get a nicer phone. I purchased a brand new pixel 5 in October of last year, promptly put it in an otterbox and replaced it in December with my current phone. Gazelle offered me 100 bucks for my pixel in the reported condition and I accepted the offer. It took almost a whole week for my prepaid box to show up at my house.
About a week went by after mailing my phone in and I just received an email today stating that my phone is in poor condition from what they expected, because it is somehow "scratched up significantly" and they updated the offer to 30$. Total bait and switch scam company. Gives you a high offer with no intention of keeping it, expecting people to just take the crappy offer and not want to deal with the phone being shipped back again. Absolutely not, send me my phone back and I will recommend anyone stay far far away from Gazelle.

Sent them a like new phone, no scratches. Offered almost $500 and when they got it said it's all scratched and offered $100. Wasted my time. They were significantly higher on the estimate than similar sites, cause it's a lie!
I submitted an offer for my iPhone 7 that was in great condition. It had always been in a case with a screen protector - no scratches to be noted. When they received the phone, they stated "excessive scratches" and lowered their offer by $60+. I declined, and they mailed a phone back. The phone returned to me does have quite a few scratches. The battery was also at 10%. I mailed mine in fully charged. I don't trust this company at all.
