I got my first gaming rig built from Gear-up and it was very important that everything is spot on. These guys made it possible by matching my requirements and specifications. James was very patient and helpful with his suggestions. Delivery was on time and well managed. There's nothing more I could ask for, oh and they offer great after sales service as well.
Very bad customer service. They promised to send a charger compatible to UAE but nothing received. Their terms and conditions for the return and refund have extensive constraints (e.g. They charge 20% of the product price if you return it even sealed). Take home lesson: Do not buy again from this company.
They have a good customer service. However, they will not update you if your order will get delayed, unless you ask.

I have experienced fraud in dealing with Gear-up. I purchased a Samsung kiosk which comes in a screen + connection box.
What they send is only screen.
Upon raising a complaint about the missing box, they tried saying the price is for screen only. I produced their link through which I made the purchase. Nowhere on they could point out that it's a screen only price. Entire catalogue and link shows picture of screen and connection box.
I would urge buyers to stay away from the fraudster company. I am taking this company legal anyways.

I've been buying from their web store few times already especially my Gaming PC, and i could say that they really know what this business is all about. My last order was delayed because it's EID Holiday well that was reasonable cause. They kept me updated and my order was delivered on the day they promised. Expert staffs who could deal with every question asked about all their product listing on website. Over all they are very professional, suggested to buy from them.
I ordered some PC flight simulator controls from Gear Up (Thrustmaster Warthog). They were initially out of stock, but Maynard from Customer Service went out of his way to help me get them quickly. Every step of the way from the online experience to actually going into their office Dubai was very positive. I'm very satisfied with their service and I will definitely go back to them for my computer needs. I especially am impressed with their prompt and responsive communication over email or by phone. I would highly recommend this company, especially as there are a lot of scams or just poor to non-existent customer service in the UAE. Thanks again, Maynard for all your help.

This company is really great as they provide instant service and treat anything and everything with extreme care. Recently my PCs ram broke and I emailed them, a very short time later they told me the would retrieve it that day and give it back to me the next day. I got it and it worked perfectly with low charge as my warranty for 12 months had expired. I would highly recommend this company as they are great and really kind and respectful to their customers!
I recently bought a keyboard from here and it was a bit troublesome at first but they had a very good customer service agent named Maynard, he helped me through my purchase. My keyboard arrived with some keys out of the sockets in the box though, but at least it wasn't damaged. My order was received swiftly. Even though the prices here is higher than usual. In the end I got what I wanted.

Positives: Low prices, good choice of goods.
Negatives: Delivery, delivery, delivery. Deliveries from some international warehouse to Dubai-based one are only twice a week; Wednesday and Sunday. If you order any other day your order will be waiting until the next shipping day. That's not all. Then, you need to wait for the delivery from the Dubai warehouse, which when scheduled for Monday will be shipped on Monday evening (usually after 8pm). Then, the courier usually takes one or two days to reach you.
Forget about receiving the delivery on the scheduled day!

I cannot fault the technical support received from the team. I returned my motherboard and the BIOS was quickly updated to accept my processor. In this case the delivery and turnaround was super-fast. Unfortunately, I have not always been so successful with delivery of items (hence 1 star less, for only 2x/week shipping) but overall Gear-up.me has an excellent choice of hardware (especially for gamers) and the technical support has been excellent.

I was looking for hard to find products (touchscreen overlay) and they have arrange it for me within very short time and mainly they have delivered it within promised time-frame. I had a hard time getting my item shipped to the carrier which took them 2 weeks of delay even thou the item stated in their website as "In Stock".
The biggest problem is the carrier they use which is SpeedEx. Not only they F@#K around with you, but also if you try to contact them it will take ages for their customer support to pick up the damn phone.
Finally, I know the idea of finding a good e-retailer for PC and laptops is appealing since they have a wide variety of items, but it's not worth the wait. The amount of time you will spend waiting can be spend gaming or using the item which you bought from near by retailer or buying it from more trustful e-retailer like amazon or Ebay
I looked at numerous companies that could offer me a brand new Gaming PC. I mentioned specs and the purpose of the machine. Gear-Up was the only company that gave me GREAT support & GREAT prices. I ordered a Cooler Master Thunder 600w PSU from Gear Up, simply because they were the cheapest. Delivery was within the time-frame they specified and the product works as detailed.
I can't talk about their quality of customer service or anything about the returns policy as I did not use it.
On the whole, I would definitely buy from them again.
