I ordered a connector from my portable dishwasher to connect to my faucet, however, after finding the same part on Amazon for quite a significant less amount of money, I requested Genuine Appliance Parts cancel my order and send me a refund. Below is the very disrespectful, ignorant, comment they sent in reply to my refund/cancellation request:
"The richest man on the planet thanks you for continuing to help him destroy American small business. Our hardworking young people that are struggling to put food on the table do not thank you. Cancelled as requested. "
I would suggest no one deal with this company, small business or not."
I contacted Greg when my dryer started squealing to get his opinion on whether it would be more cost-effective to have my dryer repaired or should I replace it. He told me if I was handy at all, I could repair it myself. Therefore on his advice, I ordered the parts kit. In anticipation of my order, Greg notified his warehouse who held the USPS truck so that my order could go out that day. The customer service was exceptional, shipping was fast, the price was great and I saved hundreds of dollars in repair bills. I repaired my dryer and I couldn't be happier!
I ordered a gasket for my deep freeze. The gasket arrived smudged with fingerprints and flattened. I assumed it was used since it was smudged, flattened and the shipping box had three other previous shipping labels still on it. I attempted to call customer service several times on Monday, no one answered, I did leave a message (no return call). I emailed around 1pm to discuss my concerns and request a prepaid return label since the gasket seemed used to me and I paid for a new one. I was promptly replied to at 1:30pm. An unidentified person proceeded to exclaim their insult, how dare I accuse them of selling used parts. Then they proceeded to explain that I had no idea what I was doing in the most berating fashion, stopping short of calling me stupid. I am appalled at the manner I was written to. This person was very aggressive and should not be interacting with customers. As some cantankerous ahole once told me, "Be sure and educate yourself" in etiquette and customer service before you go answering emails and talking to the public.
