My second time visiting Rome using GYG. Ale was friendly, professional and a historian born in Rome - she was so passionate about the topic and made you excited for what you were learning. I wouldn't hesitate to use GYG again based on the fact that the guides are so amazing. Also did Colosseum and the guide was an Archeologist with the same level of passion and professionalism.

We did two tours today and both Alla and Alda did a very good job. It was clear they both enjoy their job. Loved Alla was so personable. Alda embraced a blind woman in our group and made her tour very intimate so she could actually feel the art. Great experience by both Alla and Alda.
I had to cancel my trip because my wife misplaced her passport. How could I go on a trip when my wife cannot locate her passport in Portugal. I emailed as soon as I could locate a contact email address to let them know to cancel. It was so stress full even to find an email address at the moment. They told me that it is within 24 hrs. So cannot get any refund. I told them that this is an emergency so at least refund 50%.
When we locate the passport we all went on a trip the following day purchased from GetYourGuide. I did not even think that GetYourGuide is a company that will not at least think about their customers.
I am considering filing a claim to the BBB.
The geography of Cappadocia, it makes you feel like you are somewhere outside the world and also with the professionalism of the service I received, it was an unforgettable holiday for me thanks a lot.

I had a tour I was looking at but didn't want to go with it as we couldn't get to Cairns. It automatically purchased the tour through Apple Pay.
I contact the company straight away and after hours of chatting via the app. They couldn't do anything to help me and they were ‘truly sorry'.
I just think it's unfair as it was a glitch in there system and I was the one that lost $370. Even asked for a voucher or half of refund. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY
Booked first a 2 ticket for skydive dubai then it was payment declined. So replied to my bank that it's not a fraudulent use. Even i screenshot the message that I replied to the bank. Then the booking push through. When I am about to book additional 1 sky dive dubai tocket it's not pushing through or in any other booking. My account have been blocked. Trying to explained a thousand times that the first booking pushe through right after I replied to my bank. And then they keep repeating to contact your banl. I already didn that's why it pushes through. Then they told me to try booking it. For the million times even putting my card's detail how can I put. So anyway, after a couple of chats and all. Nothing happened. They are not willing to help. Anyway if it's that you want that no one will buy tickets from you. Very inconsiderate!
I've used GetYourGuide in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the latest is in Aruba and I have always been extremely satisfied. Everything has been spot on from the descriptions to the meeting places. The emails have been timely from the very beginning along with the contact information for the local tour company and the app makes it easy to book and your tickets are in one place. The one I just booked was a keep island tour in Aruba and the same great servive. When COVID hit and I had to cancel a tour in Cambodia, they were right on top of it. Money back, no problem. I'll be using it again soon.
The did not refund me for the $50 I spent on "skip-the-line-ticket entry" for the MET Museum in NYC. After reading through all their site and buying the tickets, I was then told I had to pick a timeslot which were all booked for the days we were in the city. Customer service would give no refund, despite the fact that I didn't use their product/service, or keep anyone else from going to the MET. It wasn't a real reservation. You have to imagine they get a lot of their revenues this way.

I ordered tickets for a french venue the same day; due to changements in Covid paperwork we could not attempt the activity, i called GetyourGuide prior using the tickets and asked for refund; few hours later they called me back with the refusal of the refund, but proposed me giftvouchers for three years. I do not want these either extended ticket validity. Just my 60 eu back.

We booked a walking guided tour of Bath and a river trip with Prosecco. The walking tour was interesting, informative and a great introduction to Bath. The river trip was low key but just what we needed - not quite so informative but very relaxing. The guide and the boat personnel were all excellent.
Skip the line is a Joke... we waited for almost 1,5 hour. In the mean while people in the "normal" que where at the same time inside. Also the tour promise you a maximum of 25 people... we were in a group of 41! What resulted in broken communiction, when a part of the group was already to corners past in the vatican. There was no way to understand the guide even with help of the audio system. In short: I wouldn't chose this one...
Terrible tour company! We canceled the reservation as soon as we find out that we're not able to board on plane due to Covid. We asked them to cancel the reservation and provide a refund. Of course they denied our request stating that you need to cancel within 24 hours in advance. We didn't know 24hrs ago that we will be sick and won't be able to board on the plane.Travel agencies should be more lenient and understand during this difficult travel time impacted by Covid. They should be more thankful and work with people like us who still traveling and pay their bills despite travel complications and restrictions!

Great options of local providers and we're happy with the local guides we went with on our tours. We booked 7 which is a mixed of guided and tickets (3 in Rome, 2 in Naples and 2 in Florence) and we're happy with all 7 of these. Only thing that can probably be better in terms of pricing is the St Peter's Basilica Dome tour as it turned out to be a bit on expensive side vs DIY or what the tour actually is.
Terrible site, terrible app. Has the modern demeanour of looking easy and accessible but it really isnt. They will scam you very likely, it happened to me, they will also leave you for 2 hours without help trying to arrange payment in the first place for an experience but it wont work as their site is terrible, always saying 'please revise data' 'cant proceed to payment' - avoid this place, i IMPLORE YOU.

Less than 24 hours before our tour, we were told it was cancelled. At this point, no tickets could be purchased for The Last Supper on our own, so we joined the suggested tour in order to see Last Supper. Unfortunately, our original tour included the Ambrosiana, so we purchased those tickets on our own.
We were impressed w our guide, Mossimo, on the new tour. He was very well informed and made the tour interesting. However this tour included La Scala and Duomo which we had already toured on our own. But in order to see The Last Supper, we were told we needed to follow the whole tour.
So not only did we pay for the original tour but had to purchase Ambrosiana tickets in addition.
Again, Missimo was terrific!

Get Your Guide impersonates our business by advertising with Google Ad Words as 'Cairns Visitor Centre' - yet they are not based in Cairns and are an offshore OTA (online travel agent) who can only be contacted via a 'Call Centre' in the Philippines (just try to call them, you will see what I mean).
These companies do not play fair and use underhanded tactics, impersonating Australian businesses and implying they are based in Cairns, Queensland, Australia.
They know nothing about Cairns.
They pay ZERO taxes in Australia.
They employ overseas work / labour forces.
They are in short highly unethical.
Do yourself a favour, try to book with local agents and tour operators where ever possible.

We bought 3 tickets to visit Disneyland Paris choosing date 29 May 2023 and after we purchased nonrefundable to use on May 29 we noticed that there is no availability for that day and the nearest available date was May 31, which we we're going back to the UK! Customer service didn't help at all and we paid extra to to buy tickets that we can't use! This company fools people buy misguiding them.
