Totally disappointed - ZERO customer service! First time we visited Statue of Liberty and nobody was informed of our pick up location and the direct us wrong. We lost our 11:30 booking and as soon as we got to the right location we explained to this gentlemen what happened and he made fun of us with the lady that he was talking on the phone. The shame is that this lady (named Savi) is one of the sales manager and she wasn't helpful at all... but she was all attitude and she said that we need to pay extra! What a shame... New York city 2019 and you cannot find solution to your costumers? To the people that they pay you? When your costumers have so many choices just try to keep them. Next time I will choose another company.
I did a booking for a Singapore night safari on 17th through GetYourGuide because they offered me the same. Once I did the booking, my credit card got charged for 100 SGD. I then got a voucher that I need to get exchanged for the timeslot on 17th. However I was not able to get any timeslot for 17th. When I get back to GetYourGuide for a refund, they refused the same saying it is already confirmed! Though I am not able to do my trip
Their cancelation policy is horrible and does not allow for emergencies or real issues.
They are also obviously not at all concerned about the quality of the tours they offer or the safety of their users. Sales is their only motivation.
I was recently in El Nido and booked a boat tour. The day of the tour I went to the boat and it was so crowded people were shoulder to shoulder. I couldn't even sit back.
There was no way I was going to be that uncomfortable or put my life at risk. There were Gale wind warnings and small craft advisories that day, even with these the boat was over loaded and it went out.
I went straight to the police. They told me that the limit was 17 people, this boat had over 24.
When I contacted GetYourGuide they just referred me to their cancelation policy and showed absolutely no concern for my safety of the quality of the tour.
No way will I ever use them again, anywhere.

Purchased a £57 voucher for Mersey Ferries and hop on/off bus tour. No voucher received- got in contact with GYG who responded on 24/08/22 advising I had typo in my email hence no voucher but also I couldn't cancel as I was out of 24hour cancellation period- for a voucher I never received to cancel. Explained this and the fact we were no longer in Liverpool - please may I have a refund. No as I was out of cancellation period On threatening them with small claims court; advising that as no vouchers received and no trips taken there was no contract entered into and the company suffered no loss - they suggested a 18 month transferable credit. I advised that I still had no voucher and wouldn't use such a dishonourable outfit. I will keep you up dated on progress.

My friend and I were in San Diego for the weekend and had booked a walking tour the week prior. Rain was in the forecast, but we were ok with a little rain. Two hours before the tour it showed that there would be heavy rain. There was heavy rain. Streets and everything had water and it was pouring out. I called several times on the status of the tour and attempted to cancel due to the weather and I was told the tour was still on. Two weeks later when I reached back out to try to get a refund or something (I was waiting to see my CC statement) I was told that a cancelation had to be before the 24 hour mark or you could cancel for a partial the day of. When I called the day of the tour they wouldn't let me cancel.
I purchased a trip package for a Christmas present lsst year but was unable to use it for the intended trip because of the COVID restrictions. It worked out well since we changed travel plans for later in the year and was able to to use the voucher for a tour while on our trip. I would definitely use Get your guide again.
I originally signed up for the Hyderabad: Full-Day Private Tour with Lunch, the afternoon before, but it had to be changed to the Hyderabad: Heritage Walking Tour of Old City and Charminar, due to the Covid 19 closures. 5 Senses Tours was very efficient in the turnaround to find me another tour on Monday 24 August 2020. My guide was John, he's a very knowledgeable and experienced guide who knows the history of Hyderabad and India very well and had an answer for every single question I had. It was an enjoyable morning walking tour, easy getting around, and learned so much from him. Ask John to stop for an amazing "chai" before starting the walking tour. Also, my driver was Taiyab and he did an outstanding job as well. I'd highly recommend this tour. Thank you 5 Senses tour and John!
Our tour guide was very professional, well competent, informative and well equipped. Annelise was very accomodating, cheerful and very nice. Everyone's safety was her focus during the trip because the trail was quite challenging. I highly recommend this trip.
Worst experience possible!
I had a Bruges day trip booked with the get your guide app, on the 22nd may 2023 and I had a train from Zurich to Paris on the 21st may but since due to strikes in Paris the Zurich tain to Paris got cancelled last minute leaving me stranded with no hotel booking at Zurich and no easy way of reach Paris. Plz consider I was a solo traveller and first timer in Europe.
I tried contacting get your guide but all in vein so as to cancel my booking just in case I was not able to reach paris on time!
I asked for a refun if not full but at least partial but they say I reached them a lil too late and I don't fall under their cancellation policy.

We have purchased a 2 hour brunch boat cruise, for Sunday August 20,2023 when it was automatically cancelled by Toronto Harbour Tours, without any proper explanation, and without notifying us of this dirty stunt they have pulled. My experience with Toronto Habour Tour lead issues with reacial profiling. I strongly avoid Toronto Harbour Tour it`s not worth the paper it`s printed on

I booked 2 tickets for whale and dolphin tour on 1st Feb. Then the company called me their boat was under repaire so I need to change the date to 22nd Feb. For some reasons I decide to cancel and I contact this agent on 16th Feb. They said they will investigate my case then they never reply again.

We had a private tour of Asen's Fortress and Bachkovo Monastery with a lovely man named Dimitar. Not only did he know the facts about the places he took us to, but he also spoke about Plovdiv with love and pride which was conveyed with every thing he showed us. He has extensive knowledge of his land and was able to answer every question. It was a pleasure to spend the tour in his company and I highly recommend the tour.
We used this to book numerous tours while on a road trip. It made it so easy to find things going on and book through one site. I didn't have to worry about anything, just show up at the tour and go!
I initially booked 3 tickets for Windsor-Stonehenge-Bath tour. After paying for the tickets online, I realized I needed 4 tickets since my sister was coming with us. I booked 1 more ticket right away assuming that we would be in the same tour bus. We were so excited on the day of the tour and went to the Victoria Station near Buckingham Palace early enough for a quick breakfast across the station. When we got in line at the meeting point, the guide/staff checked her list and she just saw 1 person under my booking! That was when I found out that "getyourguide" booked me under 2 different tour bus companies! The bookings were both under my name, same date and same time but different tour companies with different meeting points! How could their system do that? We were so frustrated and disappointed especially that when I called Getyourguide's customer support right there and then, the call center agent blatantly told me that they could not refund me. I emailed them when I got back to on 8/22/22 and they emailed me back today 9/2/22 that they could not give me a refund per their cancellation policy. They should have a better online booking system! Now, I'm the one paying for the glitch in their system!

Please note that all this company provides is a line hold. They have a guide that shows up at 7:00 AM and says "the company made a mistake and did not send me the tickets". This is a flat out lie. They are doing what you can do on your own and that is standing in line. They attempt to get in the front, BUT TICKETS ARE NOT GUARANTEED! If they are not in line early enough and the daily allotment runs out, they will not get tickets and you will not see Auschwitz.
So my advice is for you to get there at 7:00 AM or before and wait in line yourself and get your ticket and guarantee your good time.
Don't book through them, use hotel or others like Viator they are cheaper 30% less. We booked 2 tours and paid way to much they refused to honor price garanty
This trolley tour was a perfect way to see the beauty of the DC monuments by night. Our guide MJ was the best. Giving great stories and information about the famous spots. Highly recommended.
There was an optional boat trip that was 5 times over priced with no other option. Than took us to other service providers that were only interested in their tips and not the service.
They have an address for the bay ride tours listed about a mile away from the actual location and won't respond to emails now I'm out tolls, parking and the cost of the cruise

BEWARE! Get Your Guide pulled a switch on me at the last minute that cost me 90 dollars. I booked a full day tour with hotel pick up. The hotel was in Bucharest and the tour departed from intercontinental. LESS THAN 24 hours before the trip, the company says they sent an email which I never received and then when I requested the email forwarded as proof the sent me an edited screen shot of like an excel spreadsheet saying they sent it (never got it). My spouse called and was unable to get anyone to answer the phone. Evidently we were supposed to go to a different location for meet up, but we paid to be picked up at the hotel. So frustrating! They had our hotel info for WEEKS IN ADVANCE. After talking to get your guide we are told we will not be refunded and we won't be able to do the tour we have been excited for for a long time, all because of Get Your Guide's unreliable and inappropriate business practices. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
