Easy to organise

I was very pleased with GetYourGuide as a travel broker however they should reconsider associating with Toto travel who we went on the 3 Island Spoedboat trip from Split. Toto Travel do not adhere to COVID Safety regulations

The head boss is very rude and I didn't even get to jet ski. On top of that, I didn't even get my refund! Highly disappointed. I do not recommend at all

All is well until something goes wrong

Getyiurguide double booked me for 4 tickets for an event. When we showed up it turned out we have 8 seats for 4 people. Any attempt to contact GetYourGuide to sort this out went unanswered.

Booked 3 excursions through Get My…
I booked 3 excursions through Get My Guide. All 3 excursions there were issues. The first one was a car to pick us up from the airport and take us to an apartment. The driver never showed up. When I called Get your guide they said the best thing to do is cancel the reservation and get a cab. They also said it would take 5 - 7 days for a refund. I asked for assistance booking a different ride and that was also not an option. The second item booked were tickets for a hop on hop off bus which was advertised to run every 30 minutes. We waited at our first stop for 1 hour before a bus came. Which had taken time out of our day. The bus trip was longer than listed as well on the website. Which took more time seeing the sites. The third issue was I booked a private transfer from the port of Civitavecchia to Rome and when our driver showed up there was another couple that we did not know in the van. And no solution2ad offered except a partial refund. I have contacted Get your Guide and the companies the travel was booked woth and no resolution has occurred. I gave also paid a out double of what is listed for each excursion. FRAUD and FALSE ADVERTISING

Underground Colosseum Tour w Ancient Rome
September 9, 2022

Get Your Guide cancelled this tour via email, which I booked 2 months ago, the day before our flight to Rome, citing "Colosso cancelled our slot for this tour" … I immediately rebooked the same tour on a different day and moved our Cooking Class booked through With Locals (HIGHLY recommend!)…then, at 11:30 pm the night before the rescheduled tour GYG cancelled AGAIN (via email) and said it was because of a "political event" at the Colosseum. Which is total BS, because we booked a Colosseum Arena and Ancient Rome tour for the same day and same time with a different company and I took photos of visitors touring the Colosseum underground, where no political event was taking place. Dishonesty rates a zero with me, we travel frequently and will never use this company or it's affiliates again. And rest assured, I am reporting this on every review site if for no other reason than to save someone else the stress of trying to book a popular tour while on their trip.

While on my honeymoon my husband threw out his back, so I reached out to both Get Your Guide and the provider ~40 hours prior to my activity to cancel. The policy is 24 hour cancellation notice. The activity provider informed me that the cancellation would need to be issued through Get Your Guide. The following morning I reached out to Get Your Guide on WhatsApp to confirm the cancellation but they told me I had not cancelled early enough. I showed proof of communication 36 hours prior but they said they could not provide a resolution for up to 5 days - extremely surprising for a company that prides itself on a flexible 24 hour cancellation policy. They followed up hours later via email with a 50% refund offer, saying that they could not offer a full refund as the provider did not have sufficient time to cancel the driver. Complete lie given the provider was aware over 36 hours in advance that I was canceling. I was shocked by this lack of adherence to their clearly stated policy of 24 hour cancellations and disregard for the extenuating circumstance. They took up many hours of my honeymoon trying to cancel with an unsatisfactory resolution.

Sunday, yesterday morning, we signed on to a guided tour of the royal mile in Edinburgh Scotland for a 1 pm tour.
While on the site we selected 6 in our party and while still in the site changed the quantity to 8 people for the tour, instead of 6.
The site billed us for the original 6 and then again for the 8 people.
Within the hour of booking, approximately 10 am, we contacted the guide service and explaned the error in billing and requested a refund for the original 6 tickets.
The "customer service " person refused to refund our money for the original 6 tickets, saying we were too close to the tour time of 1 pm to refund our tickets, even though she could see on her computer screen that we were double billed on the same confirmation number!
When I told her it was not right or fair that they would not give us a refund, she said she agreed with me, but could not or and would not refund our money!
Needless to say we will not use this company ever again, as well as the other 7 members of our party.
Beware of being 70 in the age of Mobil apps, and unforgiving corporate rules and policies

The worst company ever!

Don't deal with this company. I paid for helicopter ride. They guy didn't show up, they
Didn't let us know and there was no one to talk to. They don't even deserve one star!

I booked a dinner cruise. To my amazement when I came to cancel the booking, I was told I initially had bought a Gift voucher which I was told I used for my booking. I never saw anything about buying a gift voucher when paying for my booking!
As it was necessary for me to cancel our booking when I enquired about not receiving
my refund, I was told my monies would not be refunded but the gift voucher would be held for a future booking.
I have sent numerous emails requesting a copy of where my booking stated that I was paying for a gift voucher. I provided to them a copy of their website I used which nowhere states anything about me paying for a gift voucher. Neither is it recorded in the terms and conditions I read before completing my booking. I have since found a separate site which deals with this company's gift vouchers. I certainly never knew this existed or used it when making my booking.
I have been booking travel flights, hotels and excursions etc for over 30 years and never have I had dealings with a company so unprofessional.
Why is it so difficult for this company to provide a copy of the all details relating to my booking and how it came to be that as they state I bought a gift voucher which I knew nothing about.

I am from Southern California.This is my first time to book dinner cruise with getyourguide as couple. I booked on Oct 10 and the morning after I decided to cancel due to the food offered wasn't that good and myt wife didn't like it. They had been dragging days through emails as well as their getyourguide chat apps and thin gs never resolved, finally after almost 10 days they told me that the trip cost wasn't refundable! Even the policy stated free refundable or deducted 20% but it never happend. This is not a reliable service company. Anyone before booking with them, please be aware about the poor services. I already disputed with my credit card bank.

Worst worst worst. GetYourGuide never trust them or book anything form this site. I booked Kl tower (kulalumpur) from this website for our family( 2 yrs old kid. 8 yrs old kid and my wife) they send the confirmation with some agent name and even I contacted them for confirmation n they confirmed. When I arrived at the destination Kl tower they say the ticket is cancelled. GetYourGuide do not have the ethics to inform the customer about the cancellation and they have just cancelled without any reasons. When I contacted the agent she was clueless and says I don't know. Ridiculous and GetYourGuide booking will make your trip unpleasant. I DONT RECOMMEND this useless site

We searched for tickets to the Space Needle in Seattle and Get Your Guide came up first with tickets for the Seattle Observation Deck or that combined with the Chihuly Gardens, which is next door to the Space Needle. Not having ever been to Seattle, we thought the top deck of the Space Needle was called the Observation Deck. As you can see from the attachment below, they offer Space Needle tickets too, just not when you search for Space Needle tickets. Stay away from Get your Guide.

It was nice to be out on the water learning things I never knew the zodiac ride was thrilling yet subdued enough to hear commentary about Vancouver. It was worth the money.

Don't even think about buying a ticket on get your guide. They are just fooling on you. It is supposed that you buy an individual ticket but they put you on a group.
