I booked day-trip from Fuerteventura to Lanzarote and I didn't receive any exact data regarding the trip, only that the trip will start at 10:30. A day later there was some email from GetYourGuide, with the title: "... Your Trip to Lanzarote 10:30 with a Ticket from the traveling company. A few days before the trip I received other three emails from GetYourGuide telling me I would have the trip to Lanzarote at 10:30. I was at 10:300 at the meeting point, and actually we should have come earlier. Why does GetYourGuide send information with the wrong time and expects that I will check all 5 E-Mails to find that one place where it is written with very small letters that I have to come earlier? As they don't want to return my money, I will never ever book again through GetYourGuide. When you book your trip through a local travel representative, you always get very good service and enough information regarding the trip and pick-up time and meeting point. I will never use GetYourGuide again. Extremely bad service.
SCAM WEBSITE. Based on my experience, they promise people to pay them if give a high rating to the attractions. Then they scam people who want to earn money by rating. Be careful folk!
I canceled 2,6-day Paris museum passes well within their 24 hour limit And they still charged my card. Despite several emails back-and-forth, and the pass never being, They decided to charge me while I thought we were still discussing the matter. For some reason, they send a voucher in the email which does not account for anything nor does it say "this is not a pass." We are now disputing the charge with my credit card Company
ADDENDUM: now they are telling me that my activity started on Sunday after purchasing passes online Saturday night, even though the 6 day pass does not start to count down until you enter your first museum, and THE PASS IS GOOD FOR 1 YEAR! That means that the 24 hour rule for cancellation can never be used, since, the second you purchase the pass, it is now 23 hrs and 59 seconds! I would never get this pass. It is easy enough to purchase each individual museum pass online and safer. *** Read all the 1 star reviews- if there is any problem at all, it is impossible to get a refund! Their response to bad reviews sounds like they will try to be helpful, but you'll never see your money again
Bought tickets for museum in Vienna and the eticket bar code they sent me was unacceptable to the Albertina. They finally let me in and said they would invoice Getyourguide. Big scam, stay away!
The guide was super nice, he was fun and explain everything very well! The mosaics in the Church celling are very beautiful. I enjoyed a lot the tour. Top experience :)
We bought tickets "Alhambra and Generalife" online from Getyourguide. The Alhambra for everybody historically includes both, the Alcazaba and the Palacios Nazaries. Moreover the brochure stated that the Baths of the Mosque, namely the Banuelo which is located inside the Palacios Nazaries, could be visited.
At the entrance to the Palacios we were denied entry. In fact, the brochure at a certain point says that this visit is not included (but we realized it only at the entrance, given that the voucher was sent the day before the visit).
In any case the brochure, starting from the image of the Palacios and the title written bold "Visit Alhambra and Generalife", suggests the opposite.
Being in the Alhambra, having paid almost three times the local ticket price and being refused at the Palacios, was absolutely disappointing.
Steer clear of this company. We booked a tour for while we were in Mexico. The day we were supposed to take our tour, which we had been looking forward to, I woke up with a massive migraine. My migraines are debilitating and I'm confined to bedrest when they occur. I'm also told to stay out of extreme heat, and it was over 90 degrees this day.
We called to cancel, and get a refund and were given the run around by representative after representative. When I couldn't handle it anymore due to the pain I was in, I had my husband try to call and the representative he got on the phone laughed at him continuously about my medical condition. They also asked for proof. First of all, I am not going to a doctor in a foreign country especially when I have my own at home, and have no insurance in Mexico – not to mention I don't NEED to go to the doctor when I already know what to do for a migraine. Second, this representative had no right to laugh at my condition and was completely unprofessional.
They refuse to give us a refund since it was less than 24 hours due to "policy" Oh well, a migraine can't be PREDICTED. So this is an exception and they refuse to let us speak to management.
STAY FAR AWAY! Will be pursuing legal action

Awful customer experience on multiple occasions. They refuse to let you speak to a supervisor. An associate named Jheil was yelling so aggressively at my friend that i could hear him from where i was sitting across the room through her cell phone. The boating company we actually went on was fabulous and personally reached out to Get Your Guide and said they approved a cancellation b/c we wanted to switch tours. The boating company charged our card b/c they dont have the payment information from Get Your Guide and Get Your Guide refused to talk to us or work with us in an professional manor. The boating company that pays Get Your Guide has now requested 3 times for us to get a refund as we have now been charged multiple times. Never book through this company or use them as they are 3rd party and have no regard for the actual guests or clientele. We are very close to reporting this company for fraudulent charges.
No matter what - NEVER book through this company. Go direct through whatever touring company or activity you want to participate in.
I was able to entry the Musée d'Orsay directly with the GYG ticket. It was not clear to me if I had to exchange it with a Museum ticket, but it was not the case.
Where I failed is that I thought that my ticket was also valid for the Musée de l'Orangerie and it wasn't
My wife and I went on the Loch Lomond, Highland Stitling Castle tour. We enjoyed the trip where we had an excellent driver and guide Dougie. Unfortunately we weren't able to enter the Castlr because of the Covid restrictions but Dougie managed to improvise with some other sight seeing points as well as seeing the outside of Stirling Castle.
Worst experience. They missold the ticket to me and when I tried to cancel it they made me wait 20 minutes on the tell just to tell me that they can't do a refund at the end.

They always have thr packages I look for with many options and price ranges. I always get good prices and always had assistance from them when I needed. I LOVE IT!
For a recent vacation in Greece, I booked an excursion using GetYourGuide. The interface looked nice and the website provided what I thought were the details I needed to make an informed choice. It just did not work out that way.
Pickup was supposed to be at our hotel. This was a lie. I even spent a great deal of time picking a major hotel that was within the pickup area provided by GetYourGuide (GYG). The hotel information was submitted well in advance of the excursion. Pickup was supposed to be 5am. GYG said I would receive an email the day before from the tour company to confirm. None of this information was correct. Pickup ended up being at 6:30am, at a location 10 minutes away. None of this information was provided in the GYG app, despite their having access to the information. We missed the tour because all the information provided from the GYG app was incorrect; changed by a single email that we missed. They refused to refund our money. GYG claims no responsibility because of a single email that contradicted all other information GYG provided in the app.

This trip was amazing. We did not upgrade and glad we didn't. Music was great and the crew was awesome. We have been in multiple snorkeling trips and this was by far the best.
Booked a walking tour of Venice and a guided boat trip to the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello in Venice and both were fantastic! They departed on time and were great value. The boat tour was exceptional value as the alternative was public transport ferries which were JAM PACKED with no social distancing and no tour guide.
I paid GYG for an experience that the their local partner did not provide however GYG is refusing to refund the money (despite their guarantees) because the partner does not agree to repay the money. I paid GYG not the partner and GYG owes me the money even if the partner does not pay them back. Avoid GYG at all costs.

Full-day Tangiers Tour... I call BS. It was all day (14 hours), but the tour was only 3 hours. We were picked up in Malaga and rode on a bus for 4 hours picking up other guests. The one hour ferry to Tangiers was fine. The first half of the tour was a high speed bus ride through the streets of Morocco ending up at the ocean and a 30 second camel ride. Lunch was good, but rushed. Unbeknownst to me, the tour was only taking us to listen to sales presentations for carpets and fake antiques followed by another presentation for spices. This left, wait for it, 10 minutes of walking around some shops before walking back to the ferry terminal.
Here's your full day tour of Tangiers: 4 hours on a bus in Italy, 2 hours on a ferry, 1.5 hours on a high speed bus tour, 45 minute lunch, 35 minutes of sitting listening about carpets and saffron, 10 minutes of shopping, and 6 hours on a bus in Italy, in traffic, dropping off other guests.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR YOUR TIME WITH THIS TOUR. There are better options available in Italy that do not waste your time.
