Just got to say what a shambles this company is my child fell sick on Monday and was unable to use my tickets for the trip remember I never used them and have not been scanned or taking off me my dob feel ill and I called 111 because taught it was covid so was told ON PHONE to give him paracetamol and keep him cool, so I missed my slot on Monday I asked for a refund or new slot and was told I needed a stamped letter from a doctor to show this shambles of a company to Clame my refund when remember I called 111 and when challenged said was to late because u need to cancel 24 hours before but I did not know my son would fall ill on Monday morning when woken but this company have treated us like criminals and simply don't care about customer my child is my priority and seams money is theirs my tickets not been used or scanned so can't see a problem but thsy just fobed me off saying a letter STAMPED from a doctor is required after I saying tickets were not used its a disgusting was to b treated and hope this company lots of bad luck disgusting reply I will post the email and and not happy I am a single dad trying my hardest and to have this lot fob me off is hurting me my kids are my world and thay just stolen fro. Me I am very disappointed and hurt
BEWARE, STAY AWAY FROM THIS "COMPANY"
TOOK MY MONEY WITH NO ACTUAL PLAN TO DELIVER SERVICES.
On 10/18/21, I reserved and paid for "Maui: Sunrise & Breakfast Tour to Haleakala National Park" for 10/22/21 for three. My credit card was immediately charged. A few days later, I called to change my pick up location, and called the number on the confirmation email. The local operator had no idea who I was. She did not have me, or either of my friends on their trip manifest. I had to research to find the number for GetYourGuide. When I called and explained what I had been told, the representative for GetYourGuide said that "as of the moment, the reason why they don't recognize you when you call them, ma'am, is that the reservation is not confirmed due to unexpected operational issues." I later found out that the "unexpected operational issues" were that there were no seats available with the local guide when I booked and GetYourGuide took my money. He said that he was informing me because he had "recently found out." I reminded him that it was *I* who called *him.* Apparently, GetYourGuide had not planned to inform me that my reservation was never confirmed (although they had sent me an email entitled "confirmation"). GetYourGuide had taken my money without actually securing the reservation with the local partner. The representative insisted that "Ma'am, if you know how the process works for reservation companies, this is how it works: when you make a reservation, we process the payment, [and wait to learn if there is a spot available]." When I expressed my anger/disappointment about this process, I was told "ma'am, that's not how reservations work." I was "offered" a different date: 11/4/21 (of course, we were long-gone from Maui at that point), or a full refund (in 3-5 business days). I chose the refund, but what I wanted was the service that I had been promised.
I recently booked the "Krabi: White Temple, Emerald Pool & Hot Springs Tour" with GetYourGuide, and my experience was marred by significant issues related to communication, unexpected itinerary changes, and a concerning lack of accountability.
The day before the trip, the activity provider changed the itinerary without providing adequate notice. Instead of visiting the Tiger Cave, we were taken to a random temple. What's most frustrating is that none of us were consulted about this change or given an opportunity to express our preferences for an alternative. 6 out of 8 participants, including myself, complained, and when we requested at least transportation to the Tiger Cave, we were left stranded on the main road, forced to arrange our own taxi rides to the cave and back to our hotels—services that were initially included in the price.
Adding to the frustration, the communication from both the activity provider and GetYourGuide was severely lacking. Despite the incident that prompted the change happening two months prior, the notification was sent just 48 hours before the trip. As a traveler on holiday, I can't be expected to check emails daily, and it's disappointing that neither the activity provider nor GetYourGuide made any effort to contact me through alternative means, such as a phone call or text message.
What's particularly concerning is that, despite booking my trip through GetYourGuide, I never received any notification about the change through the app or via email. It's as if they intentionally neglected to ensure we were aware of the alterations to prevent cancellations.
Moreover, GetYourGuide and the activity provider altered the schedule and reduced it by 3 hours (!) with no alterations in the price. This drastic change in the tour duration was not only inconvenient but also misrepresented the value we paid for.
Despite these challenges, when I requested a partial refund for the additional costs incurred to arrange transportation back to my hotel, GetYourGuide refused. This refusal, despite acknowledging the inconvenience caused and the fact that we paid for services not rendered, reflects a concerning lack of accountability and customer care.
This lack of communication, accountability, and consideration for customers is unacceptable. The impact of these changes on our travel plans was significant, and the indifference displayed by both the supplier and the activity provider is disheartening. I hope that this review serves as a cautionary note for future travelers considering GetYourGuide for their experiences. Communication is key, and in this case, it was sorely lacking.

- We booked a tour via gyg and paid the double of the price. The guide told us the price and also other participants. We do get they take a fee/commission but 100% seems a extreme
- We booked a tour called "comunna 13" in Medellin. The subtitle of the tour is
'Explore the vibrant Commune 13 area of Medellín and learn how the formerly dangerous district has been transformed into an artistic and cultural hub through exciting community and government projects." but insteed got a kind of hop on hop off of the entire city and this communa 13 was done hop hop in less than an hour without any explanation.
- We gave a bad review on the website and my husband got seriously not ok messages from the local coordinator.

My friend and I booked a tour in good faith on this website. Living in the Gold Coast Australia and booking a local tour the price quoted was in $. It was a little expensive. However the amount they quoted and the amount they charged was considerably higher. We called to cancel and they accepted the cancellation but subsequently said they would not issue a refund and that they had charged on US$ but no where at any stage in the booking was US$ mentioned. In addition we only found out that they had OVERCHARGED us at 5pm the day before the tour because there was a national internet outage that day. We have tried to contact them on their local australian number but get patched through to a call centre where they just repeat the same standard lines that they do not have authority to refund and that they're are no supervisors or managers. They provide a local number for a local tour there is no mention that they are not in fact based here or that they charge in US$! We have had countless emails with this outfit the replies go on a loop first they ask for evidence then they send a long AI generated response saying they have considered the case but cannot refund. They have not considered or read the emails they continue to address me by my friends name and the responses are not consistent with this particular case. It is a pity that they feel the need to over charge in the first place much less rip people off with currency conversions that are not mentioned on their site. At one point they told me if I had gone into a third screen on their site I would have had the option to change currency but normal sites make it clear with the simple use of US or AUS $ in their adverts not a misleading $. They are based in germany operating an australian tour in australia why would we think it was US$ and why would we know to search their site and find a hidden currency conversion area this is not indicate anywhere. I now notice other reviews where people have had the same issue being charged in Euros etc which would be worse. Do not book with this dreadful company they are ripping people off. Also included in their breakdown of price is entry to national parks there is not charge to enter these particular national parks. SCAM with terrible customer service!
We bought 2 tours from GyG and both worked out perfectly - Secrets of Rome Evening Tour and Haunted Rome.
I have booked two tours with GetYourGuide this year. The first was a tour of Caminito del Rey in the area of Malaga Spain. The tour was great with respect to our transportation by bus to the location. Unfortunately, the guide assigned to our tour didn't speak English very well and my Spanish is even worse. The venue was magnificent just wish we had a different guide.
The 2nd tour I purchased was for a tour of Kinderdijk, Euromast & Spido in the Netherlands and it was a disaster. GetYourGuide failed to deliver what I purchased. Needless to say I was very disappointed with Get Your Guide. I purchased the tour in June to visit Kinderdijk UNESCO location in late August. Booked a Flight to Amsterdam specifically to see these windmills. Meeting location advertised on the web and vouchers they emailed to me specified a meeting-pickup location in Amsterdam. We showed up at the advertised/published meeting location in Amsterdam early and there was no tour guide. After waiting for over 20 minutes past the scheduled pickup time, I called customer service was informed the pickup location was Rotterdam which is about 78KM away. As the exchange rate changed from the time of purchase to when Get Your Guide canceled my reservation (US dollars to Euros were weaker at time of purchase), I lost about $30 USD. Not a big amount, but it was their error why my reservation was canceled after I called to report the tour guide/bus failed to appear. Get Your Guide has refused to cover this loss or compensate me for their error. This is worse case fraudulent advertising or gross negligence on their part. Very poor customer service. So in summary I would be very cautious about purchasing tours from this company.

Par où commencer? Les QR code inutiles, ils faut aller à des points de rendez récupérer nos tickets. L'agence proche de l'Office enfin trouver, l'accueil antipathique de la dame puis basta pas d'explication. Pour l'académie, il faut trouver un hindoux dans la rue puis il ne trouve pas notre nom sur l'appli résultat 20minutes d'attente et de blabla pour avoir nos tickets. Nous avons effectué l'intégralité des musées proposés et a chaque fois il fallait blablater pour entrer. Hors c'est prévue dans notre pass 2 jours. Bref plus jamais, il n'y aucune raison de prendre ce genre de pass, il faut juste anticiper les horaires et au moins vous êtes libre, pas obligé de suivre leurs réservations... Voilà voilà.
Application très ludique, facile d utilisation. Suivie des réservations et remboursement immédiat en cas d annulation de notre part.
Vérifier peut être certaines activités vendues très chères par apport au contenu.
Prise en charge parfaite. Notre guide Hassane était vraiment géniale, authentique il prend plaisir à nous expliquer l'histoire du Maroc. Plein de joie, c'est dans un cadre magnifique dans le désert pas comme les autres excursions ou on ne quitte à peine la ville et soit disant on est dans le désert que nous avons mangé avec le couché de soleil. Un régal d'ailleurs. Puis autour d'un feux de la musique arabe qui fut exceptionnelle. Meilleurs activité et meilleure guide. Merci Hassane

Der Pizza Kurs war ein Highlight in unserem Urlaub. Kleine Gruppe von 4 Pers., da blieb ausreichend Zeit für Fragen und smalltalk. Der Instructor/pizza Bäcker war witzig, charmant und sehr nett. Hat riesigen Spaß gemacht, meine Empfehlung!
Ich buche sehr gerne Ausflüge über Get your Guide. Es ist einfach die Buchungen durchzuführen und man kann fast alles, bis 24 Stunden vor Beginn, kostenlos stornieren. Zudem wird eine sehr große Auswahl geboten.
Bonjour, je suis très déçue de la prestation car nous avons payé pour une excursion "tout compris" comprenant trente minutes en bateau vers Marken et la visite d"une maison traditionnelle. MAIS nous n avons pas eu le droit car l'agence ne nous avait pas fourni le bon bracelet. C 'est donc cher payé pour nous trois!
