My wife and I booked a slingshot rental while in Cape Canaveral for the day while on a cruise. Upon getting to the location, we were informed e did not hae a reservation. Despite having a booking number and confirmation from get your guide. I spoke with customer service, they apologized and said we would be compensated for any Uber rides we had to use for the day since it was too late to make any other plans. We submitted receipts for the Uber rides and even after several attempts, no response. Do yourself a favor, book with Viator, much better experience. I would not trust this company at all, why take the risk?
They sent me a link for the tickets with a "reschedule" button. Our flight was impacted so I went to change the time 2 DAYS in advance. I got an error message saying "not provided" I reached out to the museum. They said I had to come back to GetYourGuide. I emailed them and got an FAQ link instead of help. Then I had to download this app. My refund was refused because now it was less than 24 hours in advance. I let them know I had the screenshot of the error message from their link. Again they refused to reschedule or refund me. I'm out $100 for their broken email! They refused to escalate my issue for me. I checked with the museum and they have plenty of availability. Don't trust these guys. You have to download the app to get your tickets whether you want to or not and their IT is faulty. Go direct. -
I have been using Get Your Guide for the past 6 months and found the service easy, useful and reliable. It is a nice addition to TripAdvisor, offering plenty of alternative events, trips and attractions.
I booked a tour via "Get your Guide" for 16th May 9 am, which got cancelled by 15th May after 8 pm, and get your guide have stringent cancellation policy as customers have to cancel before 24 hours to get full refund, but if the cancellation happened from the provider's side, they don't even bother to book us for the same tour from another provider. And, surprisingly, I received a message from the Albanian bus provider that it had been cancelled due to a lack of bookings, as well as an email stating that it had been cancelled due to bad weather, which contradicts the whatsapp message I received, and the Albanian bus team requested to book with another provider for the same tour.So my question is, would another provider and their clients not be impacted by the severe weather? And when I asked "Get your guide"team to schedule the same tour with a different provider, they completely refused
I made it very apparent to"Get your guide team that I needed my same amount money back, and they were requesting bank statements, screenshots, and bank messages.
So please confirm again before making reservations from and "Get your guide".
Honestly, we caught really horrible weather and even though I know that it's not our tour guides fault. I just feel like the option for a refund should be available or to at least postpone your time for when the weather does subside.
Do not use! I went on three trips with them. They changed the whole itinerary for one, did not communicate it to us, and made it impossible for us to attend. They refused to honor their promised refund, partial refund, or even have the decency to call me — they are deceptive and totally fine robbing people when they travel internationally.
I bought the tickets to my bus paid and got email confirmation yet my bookings in the app stayed empty. I thought I did it wrong so I bought a second ticket and same happened. I logged out and back in with no success then checked website and nothing there. Then I contacted get your guide through their help area and by chat. They said not their problem. My credit card charged me for the 2 tickets. And I ended paying the bus directly for a third ticket. So when you book any activity on get your guide you cannot be certain it will show up in your bookings and if it doesn't there is nothing you can do about it.
Our group from England and New Zealand booked a Louvre tour many months in advance. My husband's credit card expired before travel and he got a new one. GetYourGuide would not accept payment with the new card via website or app, or after 3 phone calls my husband made. We even went to their office (which was closed). With such a popular attraction there's no shortage of willing visitors. We turned up on the day but our tickets were cancelled. This was a big deal for us - we won't be back again; so disappointed. GetYourGuide let us down and don't care - they didn't lose anything.

Our guide Marcin was extremely outgoing and spoke English very well! Excellent value for money, he even gave us a packet of biscuits at the end! Would definitely recommend this experience to anyone who wants a condensed and comprehensive tour of Warsaw.
