Make changes to booking dates without consulting, and then claim they have a one change policy? Really disappointing, had to purchase new tickets at the site. Avoid get your guide, alot of tours we went on all complained they have ongoing issues with them.
Delos is a remarkable archeological site, and our guide was probably knowledgeable. The first we can affirm; we would encourage anyone curious to take the brief ferry ride and explore the island. Unfortunately, as for the second we can't really say. Our guide was small middle-aged women who spoke English with a pronounced accent in low volume. Given she was attempting to communicate to around forty people, often facing away from the crowd as she directed to point out various sites, and the wind blows pretty much all the time we were able to hear maybe one out of every five words. Either she should have used amplification of some kind or been working with two to ten people. After ten minutes we walked away and proceeded to view Delos on our own. This is a useless, aggravating and needless expense when you are able to gain nothing from it!
Love this company. I've used them many times now and with Covid have had to change / cancel and use the Chat online service often. Always with quick efficiency and they're always able to contact local partners for latest updates. Can't thank you enough for helping me make the most of really precious and limited time on holiday. Your museum / art & culture guides are incredible and such nice people. Love them all so far.

We had a very bad experience with this agency. The tickets we bought and were "confirmed" by GYG, were actually expired because the activity provider never received our payment from GYG. GYG labeled it as a glitch in the system. I don't understand how something like this can happen and why they presented false statement about the ticket booking state. We were flying a long distance just to found this out and got declined right before entering a bus where our booked trip should've start. You can imagine our disappointment. Really perfect day. Never ever booking anything with them. GYG only had one job and failed. Lesson learned, should have gone with activity provider directly.

I recently booked what I thought was a visit to Seattle's Space Needle for four adults, but instead the search led to Get Your Guide's site for another Seattle experience. When I realized my mistake, they refused to refund, change, or provide a voucher because it was within the 24 hour cancellation window. They kept my $114 for an experience we did not want and were unable to attend, and refused to let us cancel, or even change to another date or time. No interest in resolving the customer service issue, more like a scammy way to do business. Will never recommend or use this company again!
Used in Italy and France. Its great way to check out sites and get info about what to see. Realized need to book ahead of time. Only complaint is sometimes the meeting spots not always user friendly. We missed one of our activities, partly because we got lost walking there so we were bit late but then we were is the area boat left before we found right one because instructions not clear on ticket or site. Will definitely use again but will be sure to allow extra time.
I like other reviewers was abandoned after the proposed start time of my booked tour. The local supplier claimed to have cancelled the tour one week earlier, but GetYourGuide apparently knew nothing of this and we were left to sort out our own day while we wait for a refund. Won't be using them again, and I suggest you find an alternative supplier.
We purchased Aquarium tickets through GetYourGuide.com last summer.
Unfortunately one of my kids tested positive for Covid and we were unable to go. I called customer service to cancel the same day and was told I can get a refund. This was less than 24 hours of my purchase.
The customer service people were so friendly and SO willing to help, but in the end nothing was ever refunded.
I called this summer to see if I could get updated tickets and use them this year, they said sure, "we will send this to our resolution department, it should take about 5 days.
I had called in June to use the tickets mid July. I've heard nothing…8 calls and Emails with the same response of "Please send us your email and confirmation # so we can look at your case". I've complied every time.
Still zero resolution or communication from a human.
I'm out $160.

I feel robbed and extremely sad that there're still companies like Get Your Guide which unprofessionally insult the consumer's trust.
I purchased a regular ticket to visit Acropolis, which resulted validated three days before. At the entrance, the security informed me that this unpleasant inconvenience happens often times when tickets get bought through Get Your Guide.
I called them five times and always received the same vague explanations. One time I've also trusted them when the customer service person promised me to send a new (hopefully valid) ticket. I was relieved... until I realized she sent me back the same invalid one, with the same booking reference and details. A complete mockery!
