I receive a gift card for appreciation. I try to register it and it said error. Then I call it gave me the total amount. As soon I try to use it declined. Call customer service was a waste of time. Never received it back. They keep trying for me to give them my address and other unnecessary information. When I keep telling them it was a gift.
To a close family friend who is a congressman and to my uncle who is a federal judge. They stole from me. This is a predatory company and needs to be shut down. I suggest that everyone who has this experience report it to their congressperson. They can shut it down. There can also be a class action lawsuit. They make multiple million of dollars in lost funds every year. It is crap
Got a card from my sis (who paid 4.75 for it) for christmas... presented it at dinner last night and found 20% of the amount of the card missing. This was a "METABANK" card through giftcardmall. No email address, a 1-888 number that is set so you can't speak with a customer service rep, only respond to the automated system. I consider this place a fraud, scam, and ripoff. STAY AWAY FROM FROM ALL GIFTCARDMALL debit cards, regardless of type (VISA, MC, AMEX, etc) from any source other then a reputable bank or credit union. Or you can just walk out into a WALMART parking lot and throw your money into the air.

My wife and I were just cleaning house and stumbled upon the 25$ Chili's gift card..."Cool! Hey Jess, wanna go get some chilli's?"
I call to double check we haven't used it yet and it says it needs activated. Well I don't have the activation code, and I can't find it anywhere, nor can I find it in any saved emails or documents. I try the activation number anyway, only a pre-recorded answering machine... frustrating. I search their site and find a number. I waited on hold for 11 minutes and hear a click. My cell phone reads, "Call ended." I called them back. They instantly picked up and asked for my card number, where it was to, my name, the address it was shipped to and once I provide that, they activated it instantly (they told me to wait 5 minutes before using it.)
So overall it wasn't too terrible, but after reading these reviews and getting hung up on and the fact they send activation code and gift card to different places, I'm thinking I would like to stay away from this site for the rest of my life.
In February my boss gave us a $200 gift card to help our family during a difficult time due to me being off of work because of the passing of our oldest child. I tried to use the gift card at Walmart and it wouldn't work. The cashier and I both swiped it several times. I didn't know the card needed to be registered and all that. I thought once it was purchased you just swiped it like a credit card. So I registered it and created a pin and tried to use it a few days later only to be told I had a balance of $2.00 even though I never successfully made a purchase with this card. I called the number on the back of the card to listen to the recent transactions and there were several $10 charges all from the same day I tried to use the card at Walmart, They charged the card $10 everytime it was swiped. It is impossible to get through to an actual person after several attempts, emails and online chats I was unable to get through to anyone I got so frustrated I gave up. Well today 6/29/22 I finally figured out how to get through to an actual person. I explained everything that happened and because it's been longer than 60 days there is nothing that can be done. The man also told me they didn't charge $10 everytime it was swiped (which is a lie) and that it was used on Google play, I don't make purchases on Google play. I even went into my Google play account and looked at all forms of payment and that card was never used on there. So I told him I wanted to report fraud but because it's been over 60 days there is nothing I can do. So the person who gifted us this card is out of $200 for nothing.

I have placed many prior orders with this company. They've always delivered what I paid for... always. Yesterday I placed a gift card order, & today I received an email requesting me to call them. I'd been randomly selected to answer a customer survey. They asked questions such as what website I'd ordered from, why I placed such a large order (2 gift cards), and what cross streets are near my house. I recognize the questions as identity-verification questions... so I'm comforted they're working in an honest manner. The clerk informed me I'll get my cards in 7 to 10 days. I'm confident they'll send me the cards I purchased... they always do. Normally I wouldn't write a review on a company so solid, but I was shocked when I saw this forum and saw all the 1-star reviews. It doesn't make any sense, so I felt compelled to post my experiences with them. In the last 2 years, GiftCardMall.com has always delivered a professional product. I appreciate their efforts to sell to legitimate buyers and thresh out the money-launderers.
They charged my card immediately, I ordered a $25 gift card for Target since Amazon didn't have any, ordered a $45 for Chili's and it was delivered ASAP by Amazon, I wish I would have ordered through Amazon. I am still waiting for my refund and nothing.:(

I bought a gift card for a family member. My atm was charged within 15 minutes but no card has been sent. I am furious and do not have the extra money for another gift card. DO NOT USE Giftcard mall!
Purchase Visa gift card at Albertson's specifically to make a purchase at an international online website. The transaction didn't go through. I then find out that the card was good in the US only. No where on the package where they list some conditions did it say the card was only good in the US. The only way to find out is after the purchase and opening the package to find the Terms and Conditions.
I explained the situation to the CS rep and supervisor, and all that was offered to me was:
1) refund of balance minus a $5.95 check issuing fee (this means I lose the $5.95 purchase fee and $5.95 check issuing fee)
2) buy a prepaid visa credit card and have the funds transferred (doing this would cost me another purchase/activation fee)
I just wanted the purchase fee to be added to the balance since:
A) the package did not say valid in US only
B) the terms and conditions where inside of the package and the package can't be opened until I purchased the Visa gift card
My gripe is that I know the supervisor could have done something, even send the call to her manager. It seems that they are willing to lose several customers (myself, family, friends, friends of friends, friends of family, and so on) because of their unwillingness to help or even show that they cared.
What a shame cause I usually give gift cards as gifts (especially during the holiday season) as the receiver can buy what they want. I learned my lesson.
My company ordered us a gift card $455 09/23/20. When I went to use this card November 11th. It was declined. They scammed $308.83 and I have called customer service *******283 and they opened the case #DS*******. They requested fill form, purchased receipt and pictures of the card. I have emailed them more than 6 times and I have all email copy. Customer service is ZERO AND THE DISPUTE PROCESS IS BASICALLY USELESS. That's worst experience of my life. I will never use this idiot card.
On Aug. 5, in response to a promotional solicitation sent via email from King Soopers, I purchased 3 gift cards (3 x $100), intending to use 2 of them as gifts for an event on Labor Day weekend. Not only was I called by GCM to confirm the credit card transaction, but I also contacted them via email after 11 days to inquire about the order status, since they were not received. I contacted GCM again yesterday (Aug. 29,2016) since I did not receive the cards, and now today I have received a phone call saying that they cannot honor the order and are refunding my money (God knows how many "business days" that will take). This is unacceptable, that they clearly have records of the transaction, and they cannot ship out the 3 gift cards to me? I passed up an opportunity to get discounted gift cards from another source since I had this order pending. Now I'm stuck paying the higher price. This is absolutely unacceptable service, and a waste of consumers' time.
(Incidentally, I wish I had checked their rating here before conducting the initial transaction; I would definitely not have attempted this purchase through Gift Card Mall.)

I had a friend send me one of there gift cards and when i actived. I got a roblox card from a Kroger store and i noticed it was not fast card (What roblox normally uses) and i thought it was strange, i go to put in the code, and it doesn't work at all, only time it hasn't worked was that particular card, so i contacted support on roblox (still waiting for a replay on my actual problem) but anyways scammed out of $25, DO NOT BUY THESE CARDS be on the lookout for fakes like this one
I would give a zero but that is not an option. Received a $50 visa debit card as a gift in July. Left card in package and opened it up right before vacation around August 20th. Tried to register it but it gave me an error, so I just checked the balance and it showed $50 so I was like ok balance is there and should be good. Didn't end up using card on vacation. Today I went to use it and sales clerk said ok your balance on card is $3.02. I was like what? Well went online and was able to view transactions and 1st transaction hit 8/22 which iwas a few days after I checked the balance. And then a bunch of other small ones. Even one transaction for a couple of bucks that was done today. Phone number on card is useless because if you don't have the correct zip code that apparently the thief put in you get no where. Not even an option for live person to talk to. Total BS. I'm more upset for the person that purchased the card and gave it to me. Obviously there is alot of money being stolen from these cards. Very sad that people like this exist and steal like this. I guess the company doesn't care or they are in on the scam. Not very good security that's for sure.

If giftcardmall is going to refuse orders, why bother to be un business. My bank approved the purchase, the information matched, so what is the problem. Lousy service.
If I could leave a 0 star review I would. This company should be located on SCAM avenue in FRAUD city. My story begins immediately after my purchase of a $200 gift card for my clients. They never received the card and when I reached out to customer service to get them to resend the card I received a lot of hesitation. After this hesitation they resent the "Gift Card". Weeks later my clients went out to dinner and sent me an email that night after letting me know that the card was invalid and had a balance of zero dollars on it. Once again I reached out to customer service and spoke with a woman who danced around questions and dodged my concerns like she was returning a punt on the last play of the super bowl. She couldn't keep her story straight and kept talking in circles. Of course, no resolution was made. The same people calling you about your cars extended warranty run this company. Instead of throwing your money to a sham of a company, pick a good charity and give someone else your money, because you will never see it again.
Guess disappointing that this company seems to be a scam and we are all out of money. Has anyone found how to get their money back. I furious finding out this was a scam.

This is a scam - they charge you for whatever card you order and then they cancel your order under the pretense that there is a "security breach" - they then hold your money and you have to wait for a reimbursement. SCAM AVOID SCAM AVOID
I have 2 cards, a fast card gift card and the giftcarmall one, Fast card worked but you guys gave a bad code or the ones that are fake so I just wasted $25 bucks on a card that doesn't even work, if you want to sell ROBLOX cards the get codes that ACTUALLY WORK.
There was a fraudulent charge from gift card mall on my debit card. I called them to look into it and after 5 minutes of searching they found info that matched mine. They told me that there were multiple attempts of different amounts and one finally went through. Why they wouldn't stop multiple attempts is beyond me. They said they have the email address that the e-gift card went to but that it is against company policy to inform me of it. They went on to say that their fraud department would call me in 3-5 business days with any more information. I asked to be transferred to that department, they said that wasn't possible. I asked to have the number so I can call myself, they said that they do not have a number for them, that they contact each other through internal emails. So, they admit that there were fraudulent transactions but i'm at a stand still until they decide to contact me, hopefully next week? After reading many reviews on this company, I am confident I will not hear from them at all. And, yes, that information above is from a "manager" that also refused to answer any of my questions while repeating the same info again and again before hanging up on me. Disrespectful and rude employees spouting lie after lie. Avoid this company at all costs.
