“Gift card mall scam”

I receive a gift card for appreciation. I try to register it and it said error. Then I call it gave me the total amount. As soon I try to use it declined. Call customer service was a waste of time. Never received it back. They keep trying for me to give them my address and other unnecessary information. When I keep telling them it was a gift.

To a close family friend who is a congressman and to my uncle who is a federal judge. They stole from me. This is a predatory company and needs to be shut down. I suggest that everyone who has this experience report it to their congressperson. They can shut it down. There can also be a class action lawsuit. They make multiple million of dollars in lost funds every year. It is crap

I placed the order at about 8:01am for 3 $25 eGift Cards. About 5mins later it changed status from Pending to Processed. I got nervous because it said ship date is 3 days from now! So I called, got through right away and talk with the gentleman on the phone. He asked a few security questions and looked up my account and informed me that they had been created and should be here shortly. Moments later I received my email (it came as 3 emails together in gmail and each gift card was a separate email so I had to expand the other two to see them). I clicked redeem on all of them and they were good to go, absolutely 0 complaints and great service.

I had got me a Visa gift card for $200 and I went to Denny's was $14.90 sonics $12.19 Walmart$10.57 general Dollar store that's all I have pend on my card from $200 then I checked it was 102$ then I checked yesterday it was $2.60. This company is a scam likes to steal People's money I not recommending this gift card to no one I going to warn people about this card.

Oh heck no. First of all they had a huge breech in their internet site and thousands of fraudulent cards were bought. Thousands of customers were effected. I called because I had several hundred dollars debited from my account and I had not even heard of this joke of a website. They told me that they would refund me and send my "ticket" to their "2nd level". That was back in Feb and they still are keeping my money. The rep told me they had a huge fraud break in and thousands of customers were effected. Stay away! They are not ethical and do not return your money.

Credit card won't load on mygiftcardmall.com/mygift "Invaid Funds," "Card Declined," get an email from the issuer of the card "Blackhawk Network," "Oh yeah, someone's been using it, and may or may not be gaining access to your information. Call us, and we'll figure out the issue," was never resolved, never called, this hacker, went to this "Apria," site, and was purchasing medical supplies, oxygen tanks, off my card! Never gave me a new card, I was the one that came forward and said, freeze my card, not them. I was the one paying for someone else, to live! Got into this card, 4-5 times, and you just now told me July 1st? I don't trust them as far as I can throw them! Terrible Customer Service! Just let this cyber hacker, continue to drain funds!

I routinely shop on-line. I attempted to purchase a e-gift card and the purchase was rejected twice. The first time, it was canceled purportedly for lack of verification. The second time, I verified my information on the phone with a representative and my order was canceled again. My son's teacher did not receive her gift card in time for her birthday. Extremely disappointing. Do not recommend this vendor.

Got a $25 visa gift card as a GIFT registered the card, and set up a PIN tried to use it a few times and it always declined. So I looked up the account and it appears someone used it in Florida and I am in Nevada. Called customer service they kept asking what browser I used to register the card and if anyone else had access to it, I did everything I was supposed to do so now they want proof of purchase how it was purchased and bank statements. This is ridiculous. It was a gift and I'm not about to bother the person that gave it to me when this obviously has nothing to do with the purchase. So just avoid this place it's not worth all the hassle!

I purchased a $500 gift card from Nordstrom. I never received the gift card however they charged my account. I made at least three calls to no avail. Additionally, I sent several emails requesting to either cancel the gift card or send it through immediately, again... to no avail. Finally, I was able to reach someone who informed me that they will credit my account however, it can take up to 15 business days. He was perplexed as to why I had not received my card LOL. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

They are horrible! They charged me twice on my account. 1.) in June of 2012... I seen my statement and it showed the money was taken out and then all of a sudden 3 weeks later it shows I'm charged again and all of a sudden the old charged vanish from the statements of June. I called to ask why 3 weeks later I'm billed for something back in June in which I was charged? Plus I asked him to explain why the charges have vanished back in June and reappear in July? Why wasn't I refunded my money and why did the charges take 3 weeks and why the old statements don't show them anymore? Who is playing with my money? Worst company ever!

I don't know what problems other customers had, but I went on to get an "iTunes" card, after being disappointed by another big brand website, and I placed my order, and literally 3-8 minutes later I had a message saying my gift had arrived!... I had absolutely NO Problems... and I am a very happy customer... kind of funny too, b/c I read the bad reviews after already purchurcing my card, freaked out, logged in to check my estimated wait time, and to my suprise found, they had already sent my gift card!... I will definitely be back!... THANK U GIFTCARDMALL...:-))))

I spent an hour selecting 42 different gift cards for employees and the order went through. An hour later I get an email stating the order was cancelled due to security. I wrote several emails back and forth with customer service. They said to call the second tier risk team, I did and they said they couldn't help either and to just place the order again. And, the information I used was correct for the credit card. I wish I would have read these reviews before I used this company. Don't use this company!

On 12/16/2013 I purchased a 100.00 gift card using my debit card from BOA. I received an email confirmation with all the correct information on 12/16/2013. On 12/16/2013 my account was debited 107.94. On 12/17/2013 I received an email from GiftCardMall.com telling me my order could not be processed without giving a reason. I called GiftCardMall.com and they informed my that they had canceled my order but the person on the phone could not tell me why. It was a useless phone call. GiftCardMall.com insisted they did not debit my account but BOA claims otherwise. Now I have no giftcard and GiftCardMall.com has 107.94 of my money.

I got a $25 gift card through staples, it wasn't activated, though they said it was. They had me call Starbucks and they said they had no record of the card having been activated. They won't do anything else to help. I'm stuck with a worthless card, starbucks wont do anything and this company, will not do anything at all, not even allow me to file a complaint.

Purchased 2 PS4 gift cards for my son for Christmas, and as of 1/2/18, they still won't work. PS4 says it is the gift card mall system. I cannot reach anyone at that company. Are they still in business? They have kiosks carrying their cards at every store, Safeway, Walgreen's, Target, ETC. Has anyone tried to return their cards to the store where they purchased it?

I wished I had read the reviews before I bought an e-gift card. The site said the ecard would be sent to the recipient within 3-4 hours. They have already charged my credit card and it has been 12 hours and they still have not processed the e-gift card.

Purchased a gift card for my daughter in law and my credit card was charged, ten hours later the card is cancelled for security reasons so my daughter in law never received her birthday ecard and I was charged $50.00. Can we say scam? Shame on you

I ordered an iTunes giftcard provided by Gift Card Mall through Amazon.com. The date was December 9. It was going to be part of a Christmas gift. By December 24 I still hadn't received anything and the tracking on Amazon said it had already been shipped. I sent and inquiry and was told by a Gift Card Mall customer service rep that they can reprint another card and send it to me again. Even though it wouln't be received by Christmas, I said yes. I still haven't received it. I complained again and was told that the card should have been delivered. My only option now seems to be a full refund. It's outrageous. Amazon should break all ties with Gift Card Mall. I will never do business with Gift Card Mall again. BUYER BEWARE!

On Nov. 4,2015, I googled Toys R Us gift cards. I thought I was ordering e gift cards from Toys R Us, but it was from GiftCardMall.com. I bought 3 gift cards for my granddaughters. I called several times after not receiving the cards. I was told there was a glitch when I ordered the cards. After several days, I still had not received the e gift cards. I called customer service several times, and was finally told they could not be sent, and they would refund my money. I was told it could take up to 14 business days. Needless to say, I was NOT a happy customer. I ordered the gift cards from Toys R Us and received them within 2 hours. I called GiftCardMall.com after 14 business days and was told I would get my refund soon. Never heard another word. I filed a complaint with my credit card company. I got the refund today from my credit card company. Today is Dec. 21st, 2015. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM GIFTCARDMALL.COM!

I ordered two gift cards from them. One gift card never made to its destination so they shipped it to my home address a month later. They wouldn't give a refund since i received the card. The second, I ordered because the first card was lost. I never received the second card and I was never issued a refund to this day. Every time I call for my refund, I get the run around.

Stay away from this company. I purchased a card worth over $250 for my father on 7/6 and it came without a visible CVC number. Called the company to get a replacement the next day, was told I will get a replacement in 7-10 business days, did not get anything. Called again, this time the manager gave me "her word" I will be getting a replacement in 3-5 days… 8 days passed and nothing. Nothing they say they say the best thing will be to mail me a checkin 15 business days… a complete SCAM! Bought the card over a month ago. Still nothing

Submitted a large order on Dec 1. Charge hit my card on Dec 2. Estimated ship date was Dec 5. It is now Dec 15 and I have no cards. After numerous calls and emails all week, on hold at least 30 minutes each time, and not one call back as promised, I am told today that there was a glitch and my cards were not able to be printed (when I was told all week that they were printed and awaiting shipping), and my order was canceled and credit card was credited. Except my credit card has not been credited! Do not order from Gift Card Mall -

Please please please. DO NOT buy this card. They do not have adequate customer support. No could help me with the registration error. There is no real support!

I ordered a Safeway Ecard for a gift for the purpose of being able to send it to myself, print it, and stick it in a card and send out same day. The email with the gift card came right away which pleased me. However, everytime I went to "Redeem" I got an error message on the giftcardmall.com website. I was trying prior to the 3 hours it said it could take so I stopped trying and decided to send it out next day. Next day comes, I try to redeem it and no luck again. So I call, they say theyll escalate it to their level 2 management and I should hear from them within 3-5 business days. HA! I wanted this thing same day. So i request to cancel. And I'm told it takes 7-15 days to receive a refund. Joking right? No. Ill can wait for the refund but I will NEVER ever try to buy another gift card from them again. Way to lose a potential repeat customer losers.

It takes this company so LONG to process a simple egift card. It takes them days! Who is running this company? And who is running their IT systems? It should take a modern company less than 1 hour to process an order.

Egift card was promised the same day, next day told it would be delivered the following day, the following day I was told it would be delivered in 10 days, meanwhile they charged my card. I called to reverse charges, two reps hung up in me. I called my bank and the band reversed the charges, never use this company.

Ordered three gift cards from GiftCardMall. It took 10 days to be received. GiftCardMall sends the gift card to the receiver but they send the activation code to the orderer. In other words the receiver is unable to utilize the card until they contact the orderer for the activation code. Guess what, I still have not received the activation codes. When I talked to supervisor at GiftCardMall he told me I should receive the activation codes soon (he hopes)! They took the money out of my account within 24 hours and I still haven't received the gift card activation codes. This is ridiculous, I asked them to email me the codes and they "can't". What a scam. Do NOT order from GiftCardMall, I NEVER will again. Amazon should not offer their services on their site.
