I receive a gift card for appreciation. I try to register it and it said error. Then I call it gave me the total amount. As soon I try to use it declined. Call customer service was a waste of time. Never received it back. They keep trying for me to give them my address and other unnecessary information. When I keep telling them it was a gift.

To a close family friend who is a congressman and to my uncle who is a federal judge. They stole from me. This is a predatory company and needs to be shut down. I suggest that everyone who has this experience report it to their congressperson. They can shut it down. There can also be a class action lawsuit. They make multiple million of dollars in lost funds every year. It is crap

Terrible business practices! I ordered an e-gift card FIVE days ago to be mailed to my daughter in law. I waited two days and then called customer service. I was told then that there is a "SECURITY TEAM" that must review all sales and that can take up to 72 HOURS! I would say that is my bank OK's the damn sale, then that is ALL the security they need to know! Two days later, I call back again and was given the same line of BS. My daughter in law still does not have her card. NOWHERE on their website does it talk of waiting for a "security process" Why is this place still in business? STAY FAR AWAY!

They hung up on me twice and when I did get get a hold of someone they didn't want to help me at all and he sounded like he had better things to do, What the hick? Terrible place. NEVER BUY FROM THIS PLACE.
If I could give it no stars I would.

DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS FROM GIFT CARD MALL. I received a gift card and registered it online in my name and put it in my personal safe. I called the toll free number on the back of the card *******283 to verify the total balance which I never used. The card was blocked and they were unable to verify my information. My card still had two years left on the expiration date - 06/24. This company basically stole money. Again, DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS FROM GIFT CARD MALL!

Tip for consumers:
Not worth buying a gift card from this company. Your recipient might not be able to use the card. If you receive a gift card mall gift card, use it right away.

After reading the comments on this site I was really concerned about using gift card mall. However, they lived up to their promises. I ordered my gift cards on 11/27 and received an email that they would be shipped dec 2. The gift cards were shipped on time and I received an email confirming this, and by dec 5 I received the gift cards. As far as activation, they did not send the codes as promised, but you don't need them! The website should just tell you that. Simply click activate my card and two easy prompts walks you through it. I did have some issues confirming my log in information but I was able to log in no problem without needing to confirm it through email (probably just a glitch). Basically with this company you have to be will to wait a bit for your stuff, but they did send it in the time they promised. Also if you buy a VISA gift card and you do not use it within 12 months, there is a 4.95 a month charge (but then again I didn't pay any fees to get the gift card which was great!).

Got a gift card, tried to use and it was declined. Went online and did the dog and pony show and it shows zero balance. I simple don't know how this company is allowed to stay in business.

Ordered a $250 Gift Card on the 15th.The website indicated we would have the card in 5 to 8 business days. On the 28th (9 business days) I called. They hadn't started to process the order and it would be 5 to 8 more working days. I said just refund the money. They said that would take up to 15 business days. Asking to talk to a supervisor did not help.
Total fail. I don't know if I lost $250 or not.
The Gift Card Mall is not operated by Krogers...

I wish I could give NO STARS! I've uses this site to purchase gift cards with no problem, until last week. We tried to buy gift cards but the orders were rejected. We tried different computers, different cards and even tried another family member's card, all to no avail! Every credit cared company approved the purchases but GCM kept rejecting them! After many calls to customer service, and after my situation was "escalated" I was told that they can't tell me why, but they no longer want my business! TOTALLY AWFUL EXPERIENCE WITH AN UNETHICAL COMPANY! STAY VERY FAR AWAY!

I received a gift card on which fraud was committed. I filed a claim, providing all documentation requested: copy of purchase receipt, completed dispute form, etc. This was over 6 mos ago; I was assured the process would take 45-60 days.

I have been patient and recently called for a status update... twice. Both times, they didnt have any answers and said they would have to "look into it". I was told I would receive a call back and both times nobody returned my call. I just called and now, suddenly, they told me they need a bank statement showing the card being purchased... after I already sent the purchase receipt.

Are they actually serious? Imagine how ridiculous I feel now having to ask the person who kindly gave me this card to find their bank statement from last year and go through the hassle of sending it to this "company". What a joke... DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! IF YOU WANT TO GIVE SOMEONE A MONETARY GIFT, JUST GIVE THEM CASH OR WRITE A CHECK.

I got 2 gift cards and unable to use them anywhere. I went on their site to register and both card numbers showed as invalid. So I think this company sells fraudulent products.

I bought a gift card for a friend in Canada. He gets the gift card and the "small print" says he cant use it in Canada! WTF? Of course they DO NOT tell you that these cards are NOT for international use on the website or when you are ordering it!

I called for a refund, and its been a month now, and I STILL haven't gotten my money back!
They keep saying "its takes 15 days", "it takes 15 days"... Well, its been OVER 15 days and I have NO REFUND!

Lazy, lethargic, and useless doesn't even begin to describe these people!

Update 9/01/2016--
I finally had to end up filing a complaint with the State Attorney General for fraud.
I FINALLY got my refund after having to waste my time having to report them for theft and online fraud!

STAY AWAY! MISLEADING ADVERTISING! I recently used this website to purchase visa gift cards for a corporate outing we were having. Their website advertises and CHARGES extra for two day shipping. Turns out, that's 2 day shipping AFTER they take 4 days to process your order. WHAT A BUNCH OF BS! When we called them, they had no apology and at our request to cancel our order we were told that they have a no cancellation policy... This company is a fraud! They were completely unhelpful and unwilling to make this right and not ruin our event. Now we are going to have to give out IOU's to our meeting attendees. Thanks Crapcardmall.com!

TO EITHER REGISTER THIS CARD, WHICH IS OF QUESTIONABLE LEGALITY IN THE FIRST PLACE, YOU MUST "WIN" 3 SERIES OF 3 VIDEOGAMES ON ITS SITE WITHOUT A MISTAKE. THEN, YOU MIST DOWNLOAD AN AUDIO FILE THAT READS OUT 8 NUMBERS AND THEN ENTER THE 8 INTO A FIELD. MOST OF THE TIME, THEIR SITE BLOCKS YOUR ENTERING EVEN ONE OF THE 8 DIGITS. THIS IS A CLASSIC RIP-OFF AND I DOUBT THE REAL VISA HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH THESE HUCKSTERS.

This place is a SCAM!

I've been trying to use my Gift card for ONE WHOLE YEAR, and every single damn time I call them, they tell me that there is something wrong with my activation code! I have called them numerous times and they say that they will re-send me an activation code EVERY TIME, but I always get nothing! I'm going to dispute this with my credit card company to cancel this transaction from a year ago!

STAY AWAY FROM GIFTCARDMALL.COM!

I tried to purchase a gift card for my mother's birthday. Thought everything was alright until the next morning I received an e-mail from giftcardmall.com saying that the order could not be processed. It was a form letter, but they hadn't even bothered to type in my name or the order number. It said 'Dear,' and 'We are contacting you regarding Order.'

I called their customer service number and the representative told me she didn't know why the order had been cancelled. She recommended I contact the credit card company, and then try the order again. The credit card company told me there was no problem with the credit card, and that giftcardmall had cancelled the transaction. So I tried to purchase a card one more time. The exact same thing happened, down to the unfilled-in form letter e-mail.

I called giftcardmall again, and again the representative could offer no reasons or solutions. Then, when I tried to think of and offer some possible reasons why there may have been a problem, after about ten seconds the phone line went dead. I can't say for sure she hung up on me, but it was very curious timing. I was neither rude nor angry while I was speaking with the representative.

This company seems pretty shady, and I will definitely stay away in the future.

Ordered an e-gift card for my sister who is overseas on a Tuesday... her birthday was on Wednesday... notification came Thursday that they couldn't process my order. This was the note in the email..."Unfortunately the order was not approved by our security screening process, and as a result, the gift card will not be shipped." I called to inquire... I thought there may have been an issue with my card. The lady on the phone was super rude and told me that my order was cancelled because the IP addresses didn't match my Billing Address... I order everything from work and have NEVER EVER had any issue with any other vendor. I told her that this was ridiculous and has now made my gift late and then she proceeds to yell at me telling me that they were just trying to protect me. Appreciate the effort but I can't order everything from my home computer, that's just not realistic. So instead of calling me to confirm, they cancel the whole order. DO NOT USE THIS SITE! The rules are ridiculous as well as the so called customer service!

I placed an order for 6 picture gift cards on Nov 26, '16. I received a confirmation # and shipping date was scheduled for Nov 30, '16. This company withdrew $629.75 from my checking account on Dec 1, '16. These gift cards were for my grandchildren's Christmas gifts. On Dec 13, '16, after my calling to check on my order - I found out that my order could not be located and it was ultimately cancelled. I have been working since Dec 13, '16 to get my refund. Now, it seems it has been lost. There is supposedly an investigation going on in the accounting department. I was even told last week that my money was refunded on Dec 13, '16 - which it WAS NOT! Today, they tell me that the investigation is ongoing in the accounting department. I will continue to call 3x weekly until I have satisfaction. I am 70 yrs old and do not have funds to throw out the window. My grandchildren will miss out on a gift from their Nana in 2016. If you need a good phone # to call: *******928. I will NEVER use this web site again! I hope it's not too late for you!

DO NOT BUY THIS GIFT CARD. PERIOD. THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

I went to a restaurant and my total was $55.01 and when I got the receipt it says my balance $33.01. Which doesn't make sense. I should have $44.99. So I called the number in the back of my card to view my last transactions and the restaurant charged $66.99. $11 more than my original total. And it was not the restaurant's fault because I have used the same card to 2 other places, used the same card and they took more money than the original cost. This company charges secret fees! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. IT'S A SCAM!

NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE! They took my money 6 days ago and never sent the ecard. They refuse to re-send the ecard or reimburse my money. Wait time for customer service in CRAZY LONG! I've called 2/3 times a day for SIX days. Every time I reach customer service they give me a different excuse as to why they can't help me. They charged my card IMMEDIATELY though! I guess they do this to people until they finally give up. I've wasted SOOO much of my time and gotten no where! Frustrated beyond belief.

I bought a card from them for $200 and when I tried to use that it showed zero balance, I called and least trained customer service guy told me to call later, I called 8day later and i was told that they are still working, I asked to connect me to supervisor and she very gladly told me that they can't do anything, they took away my $200

I have never delt with a company that passes the buck so much it makes you dizzy. I had ordered numerous personalized gift cards on December 2,2015 for Christmas gifts. It is now December 31,2015 and after calls and e-mails stating my cards will be delivered on or before December 26,2015, I find out they are still in processing. NEVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. This is the most inept company I have ever delt with.
