I receive a gift card for appreciation. I try to register it and it said error. Then I call it gave me the total amount. As soon I try to use it declined. Call customer service was a waste of time. Never received it back. They keep trying for me to give them my address and other unnecessary information. When I keep telling them it was a gift.

To a close family friend who is a congressman and to my uncle who is a federal judge. They stole from me. This is a predatory company and needs to be shut down. I suggest that everyone who has this experience report it to their congressperson. They can shut it down. There can also be a class action lawsuit. They make multiple million of dollars in lost funds every year. It is crap

I have the same story as everyone else! No special gift cards for my staff at our Christmas party. I located their address is the same city as our mailing address. I called and they said someone had already activated the cards but I am the ONLY person here to receive mail. Absolutely a scam! I think they keep them hoping you dispute the charge with the credit card company and they keep the funds.

Warning! Do not buy your gift cards from this website! I put together a large order for my company employees which took a lot of time, only to have the order denied on the website. Then my credit card approved the order and it was charged to my card; however, I never got an order # or confirmation from GiftCardMall. This was a mess, not to mention that each time I called customer service to try and get this fixed, it took at least 30-40 minutes for them to answer!

My mom gave my husband a gift card for Christmas in the amount of $500. They only authorized $263.84. They stole the rest of my mother's money. All they did when we actually did get through to customer service was give us the run around. This is the worst experience that I have ever had with a gift card!

I have called 6 times and spent about 2 1/2 hours trying to get my money back. It has been "bumped up to the second level", what ever that means, twice. They never call back, I cannot get my money back from a $50.00 gift card that could not get delivered after 3 tries in October. I want my money back!

Go to the store, buy a gift card and mail it-DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Repetitively lost data, reloaded on it's own, malfunctioned, required back buttons to enter same info, blanked the screen... no amount of patient attempts would work.
Not reliable or intuitive or easy or anything other than excrement.

You may as well flush money down the toilet as use giftcardmall for anything. I've got over $160 tied up right now that I can't access and will probably never see again because the card numbers are "invalid". There aren't real people you can contact to resolve anything. Big rip off!

SCAM SCAM SCAM. I bought my daughter a visa debit card from this company for her 14th birthday. She tried to use them to order items online. The card was declined, and no purchase made, but giftcardmall is still holding the funds, and tell me it will take 6 business days until they'll be available. I would never get one of these again, total scam. I called and complained with their agents, a supervisor, and am not posting on as many websites my dissatisfaction. I also am looking at joining any class action lawsuit against them that I can find.

Look at all the negative reviews. There's a reason for it. This company is incredibly bad at business. I placed a $3k order for physical Visa cards. They called next day to verify some info, seemed ok. Then I waited over two weeks. Called several times, reps were pleasant, but said they didn't know, there was a glitch, someone higher is looking into it, higher dept looking into it, manager involved, etc. Unfortunately, I had already made payment while this was going on, since my statement was due. They finally agreed to cancel and refund, but then never refunded me! I eventually disputed it through my credit card. Don't order from them. Ever.

I actually bought one of these cards in a store, simply so I could avoid U-Haul's ridiculously high cash deposit. Since having to use the website, I've realized what a scam this company is. The original card, which worked, was lost with $30 still on it, and I have now received two replacement cards that do not work. They require an activation code that does not come with the card, and their phone representatives insist that they cannot help. Their customer service email reps don't respond to messages. I don't have it as bad as some folks on this thread, but I'm a working grad student and $30 is $30! I have reported them to the IC3. I hope that helps shut them down. Who's putting together a class action suit?! Count me in!

I wish you could leave a negative rating for this company. I can't register the card at the website. I can't get phone help from a person, so the gift card is useless. All the time and frustration involved in trying to get a $50 gift isn't worth it. I'm telling family and friends to skip the gift cards from now on because you don't know who's really behind the card and you just might lose your money.

Purchases accepted, approved and then cancelled without any explanation. Customer "service" at base level and the elevated level in India couldn't explain why, nor did they seem to be too concerned. After third time this happened, I called it quits and closed my account that had been active for nearly three years.

I don't know what happened to the ownership or management, but this company took a hard and fast dive. If it were possible to give a negative star rating, that would be well deserved for this company!

I ordered an e-gift card for my mother's birthday yesterday. I didn't see anything that mentioned it would not be delivered on the same day. After 8 hours and no gift card, I called customer service where I was told that the credit card went through and was processed and the gift card was in the queue to be sent. After 12 hours and another call, I was told the same thing. This morning I get an email saying it was cancelled because they were missing information. This is a scam, I will never do business with them again.

This is the only way to order a Hess gift card online. I ordered a $50 card on 12/17/10. It never arrived. Nearly a month later I'm still trying to get a refund. I keep getting switched from one person to another and none can tell me when the refund will be processed. This is a rip-off company.

A E- gift card purchase. I had surgery today and needed it for someone who has strongly been there! No e- card ever came, no receipt, no
Emails ever returned! They messed with the wrong costumer this time, I am going to put my authority to use and have them investigated by every agency out there! Allowing them 24 hrs more to solve this issues. Anyone interested in joking this pursuit. Please respond! Day of surgery this is the last thing I need, and I am sure the last thing any of us wanted to deal with!

I ordered a gift card for a birthday gift on a Monday. Wednesday rolled around and the status was still not shipped. I sent an email, they responded with in a few hours about how the card was going to ship Thursday. I requested to cancel the transaction, which I got another response confirming the cancellation.

Even though I cancelled this order and got a confirmation via email that it was cancelled the company still sent the gift cart.

This business will not survive if they don't start getting faster shipping times. They need new management, operations, IT personal because whatever they are or in this case, not doing is probably going to make them bankrupt.

I rarely wrote bad reviews for a business, and this is a first. For xmas 2015, i ordered 2 same amount of amazon gift cards, and only got one. After a few calls, they got it fixed. I thought ok, it got fixed. So I ordered 1 or 2 more and they arrived and no problem. Then all of a sudden, I placed an order, order confirmed thru email. Then another email says it get reviewed and cancelled for me from "GiftCardLab".

I called support, first level support person says something is not matching or whatever, you can't order anymore. I asked to talk to his manager, same answer and no reasoning. As a business, they don't want me to be their customer? And no reason? At least help me find out why. So i asked to talk to her manager, someone's got to know, rite? And here comes the bang, she told me she will end the call now and that's it!

If anyone knows why, please let me know.

Don't order cards through this company. I've spent all day trying to get a simple giftcard and they keep cancelling it over and over again now I've spent 45 minutes on the phone doing even more verifications when it would have been a 3 min purchase at the store. I don't mind security but when it's tied to an account, tied to another account being sent to yourself I'm just really not sure what the problem could be. Not a fan.

I have tried three times to buy a gift card and each time the transaction was declined. However, the amount of money for the three times were taken from my bank account!. I didn't receive any order summary to my email neither any information about the order. What has really happened and where is my money?
I hope you answer me now!

Thought I could get an easy extra 75 dollars by buying 3 150 dollars cards from them. Went to type the Number and Pin into Lowes.com on my order screen and surprise surprise I get the "Did you enter your Lowe's Gift Card number incorrectly?" No I copied and pasted it from the email. With spaces, without spaces it doesn't matter. Stay away if you like actually using your hardearned money. Someone needs to shut this site down.

Beware, no - run the other direction. Cards never arrive at gift address, activation codes never arrive at purchase address, this includes replacements. Refunds take in excess of 40 days if you get one.

WARNING this site is a scam.

They fraudulently charge your credit card for purchases you never made. Funds will be held with them for about a month before being released back to you according to my credit card company. (Mine is still being held by them and I'm not sure if I'll ever get back my money)

Their customer service is non-existent. Tried emailing them for a week and and still no reply. Called them up and they couldn't explain to me why my funds were being held even though I made no purchases with them.

Stay away from this shameless company!

Giftcardmall.com Visa card sends you a unrecognizable card you can't register with false advertising customer support, live chat will tell you your on the wrong website which is clearly on the back of the card and a number that can't verify. You can write a personal letter to get help, by sending a letter by Pony Express. Your money is unavailable and unrecognizable mysteriously Someone has a nice vacation home Absolute fraud and they have a successful system to steal your money

Useless customer service. The cards ordered were not processed and in fact one design was denied. I have an email saying it would be sent Dec 6th and today is Dec 13th. After 35 minutes of hold time, I found out the cards were not even made yet... I was not notified of any delay or the denial on one of the cards. The "customer service" rep said they were too busy to notify me... Wait, too busy? How is that even close to an excuse... I requested a cancellation and a refund, which, wait for it... will take up to 15 days... DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!

I sent a gift card to my brother, for his birthday. However, I was told that if he got the card on a Thurs or Fri, I should receive the code on Mon or Tues. How inconvenient and frustrating! I will certainly never use them again nor recommend them.

I received as $100 giftcard on Christmas. Activated on 2/6/200 with a secure PIN and charge $29.31 at the grocery store and on 2/8/2022 they took away all the remaining balance of 69.69 charge by JS Digital life of CA. When you call JS Digital Life their mail box is full. Consumer Protection and FBI should get hold of these Chinese thieves and put them behind the bar otherwise they will be looting the people.

Avoid this company ASAP otherwise you will lose money
