This store has been my lifesaver on so many occasions. I am kind of a clumsy guy who always remembers to buy a gift when needed in the last hour 🥴 And just remembered that I have never written a review at least to thank them for their amazing service and show how happy I am that I have discovered them. Now, whenever I have occasion for a gift, I turn to their website and see if I can find something appropriate. And I always do 😀 The gifts come in nice and fancy packages, the prices are affordable and the delivery is fast. Also, they have a remarkable assortment so it is not tricky to find something for whatever occasion it is.
Are there even any words? Gift basket delivery was late, so my mother in laws birthday was over, you can see what they advertise vs what they deliver... and as for the wine? Cheap moscato that even had a "great value" sticker on it...
I ordered this as a Christmas present that was supposed to be delivered on Dec. 23rd. The gift was delivered TODAY, Dec. 27th! I never had this issue with another company I've used in the past. This is NOT acceptable especially since these are California wines and being shipped IN CALIFORNIA! So you cannot give a weather excuse. I expect some kind of refund or compensation for this inexcusable delay.
Never again.
Father's Day was approaching and I was searching for a gift to send my 94 year old, sharp as a tack, Brother-In Law when I came across Gift Tree. He is a wine lover and I wanted something special and found it! My niece sent me a video and photos of him opening it and when I say the how it looked I was thrilled and sent this note to customer service: "I just received a photo of the finished product and I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER! The label looks great, hope he likes the wine! Thank you!" The wine was packed in wooden box with a sliding lid, so made the opening a bit more fun as well.
I received a very nice note back from Sara in CS thanking me for the feedback with a touching note to me: "Fingers crossed, but we just know Big Lou will love that wine and remember this Father's Day forever"! Thank you Gift Tree and Sara!~
I looked at many different options online to get something sent last minute for a birthday. I chose your company and the item never arrived the day of. I had to look at the tracing number to see it was delayed. I tried to get a refund and have the order cancelled but was told that couldn't happen because it was out for delivery. They told me that they could reroute it by contacting the carrier but could not route it back to the company and give me a refund. This was really problematic and was not pleased with the service. I won't be ordering from your company again since I don't trust my gift will arrive as advertised.

I emailed GiftTree to find out if they deliver to the address I wanted and received a very polite and prompt response. I was a bit confused about where to write my message at first as I am not used to ordering online. However, I was very happy with my experience with GiftTree and the recipient loved the 5th Avenue Grand hamper.
I found them on Google and their hampers appealed to me more than those of any other company I looked at.
I was a bit confused about where to write my message at first.
The gifts are nice and the account executives respond timely. They are flexible and do what is possible as long as the customer asks them to resolve issues. I was pleased with the service and response time until the order was finalized and there were a few mistakes in the names of the recipients and addresses. Even after pointing out some error to fix, the typos were not corrected. There were issues with two order delivered to the wrong address as there seemed to be a technical glitch with the upload for the 50 items we purchased and it took quite a bit of interaction to get the issues resolved favorably. Still, the guest recovery was only fixing the mistakes and nothing else to make up for the additional involvement and inconvenience caused by the mistakes. I would do business with Gifttree but would warn everyone to make sure they verify the gift receipts to ensure the names and addresses are correct because they seem to be manually entered.
The order was for chocolate dipped dried fruit. The photo showed chocolate dipped prunes, dates, pineapple, cherries and apricots. What I got was chocolate dipped pineapple, dried, tough, stringy apricots, and what appeared to be possibly kiwi but it was difficult to tell because it lacked any flavor. The chocolate coating was very good and the pineapple was delicious (wish there were more). Most of the pieces were apricots which were very tough and impossible to chew. The kiwi was tough to eat with no flavor. I was charged way too much for shipping and handling considering what was advertised. I would not order this again. It was disappointing and far too expensive. Much of it was partially eaten for the chocolate and the unchewable fruit spit out. I certainly would not buy this again.

Pkg arrived on time, but I heard nothing from my friend, which was not like her. She got fruit box on 2/9. But because I didn't hear from her, it was her birthday and had written a birthday note to her, I had to call to make sure it didn't get left on her door step and got stolen. She loved it but I was embarrassed, felt like I was calling to make sure I got a thank you. When I talked to her, she said "that was you?" Very disappointed and embarrassed. Do you hide the greetings customers write out?
Hi Diane,
Thank you for your order and for reaching out to our customer advocate team regarding this feedback. We definitely take extra care to ensure this exact scenario doesn't play out and it pains me to know that your friend was left guessing who sent the lovely gift! I will be sending that replacement card out asap and sharing this feedback with our warehouse teams to discuss better ways of handling your gift card in the future!
We appreciate the opportunity to hear your concerns and make it right!
Best Regards,
Sara M.
I paid extra delivery fees to ensure the basket arrived on Tuesday. I just received a notice that the basket will not be delivered until tomorrow.
I will not be sending another gift basket from this company again.
Very disappointed.

It was great having you GiftTree. It was all so sorted. Good products, good service, quality products and proper presentation. The Gourmet gift basket was a hit with the recepients. Alot more stuff in the website to choose from. Would recommend.
I ordered 2 baskets of fruit for 2 different people in April 2019. The first basket was great! The second basket that was sent to my son was awful. It has a rotten coconut and bad grapes and looked nothing like the first. I paid more for it as well. I contacted the supervisor, Robert Roske numerous times. The first 2 times he said he wanted to make this right with me and asked for a picture of the item. My son did not take a picture. He only gave me the description. I passed it on to Robert and he now ignores my Eemails. I feel I should be compensated for the rotten fruit at least! It certainly was not worth the $84.
Dear Esther,
While I'm happy to see the first basket was a hit, this is definitely not the experience we would hope for regarding the second. Please reach me at help@gifttree.com and so long as we have an order ID or recipients name for the gift, we can move forward with resolving this immediately.
This feedback you mentioned is quite enough for us to begin the process of replacing or reimbursing you for the poor quality that was received. A picture is always nice while we report the quality issues to the team that handles the back end but never required for service. I'm very sorry that this happened and look forward to seeing this fixed asap!
Best Regards,
Sara M.
Excellent food basket--the people it was for really liked it! The only problem is that it was delivered almost a week early, before a major holiday, and the people it was for had almost taken off on a trip for 4 days--this is why I requested that it be delivered after their trip. If it hadn´t gotten there before their trip, everything would have been ruined by the time they came back. To the company: please try to stick with the days that are requested and/or consult the costumer before delivering a food basket early.
I had a good experience before
Nice blend of fruits and goodies
Poinsettias were ordered. Notified that order was recieved. Advised of delivery date but that poinsettias were not available. Was advised that best cut flowers would be sent. Next day potted plant arrived. No flowers. Not sure what type plant it was.
When I ordered the wine box I couldn't seem to get the one personalization selection to work. It only allowed me to either add a year OR a name, but not both. I placed my order with only the year. A couple days before it was due to arrive, they called & emailed me to see if I wanted to add the 2nd personalization. I really appreciated them checking with me because the second personalization added a nice touch-which I wanted. It definitely impressed me that in this digital world, a real person actually took the time to make sure I got what I wanted for the gift!
Was not particularly happy that gift wasn't delivered on Friday as originally scheduled, It was a wedding gift and the recipients were married on Saturday, however, the gift wasn't delivered until Monday. It was not acceptable.
I had done business with them before and was pleased with their service.
John,
We appreciate your recent order and review!
After looking into the details of your order, it does appear that UPS did attempt delivery on both Friday 1/20 (4:58pm) and Saturday 1/21 (3:48pm), however no one was available on either of those days to sign for the delivery. Since your gift contains alcohol, UPS is required by law to obtain a signature upon delivery. We're sorry this had a negative impact on your gift-giving experience and that your gift was not available to them prior to their wedding. We do hope that they still enjoyed receiving the gift and encourage you to reach out with any additional feedback you might have.
Thank you again for reaching out and we hope that aside from this, their wedding weekend was one to remember!
The recipient loved the gift. The only problem was the card was omitted from the box so they had no clue who sent it. It wasn't until I had a conversation with her and asked if she received it due to tracking stating it was delivered and her not mentioning it. She stated that she nor her husband had a clue up to that point.
Prior usage…
I'm a Canadian resident and this was my first purchase from GiftTree. I purchased a Gift Basket with Champagne as a birthday gift for my daughter who resides in Florida. It was delivered promptly and my daughter was delighted with the basket with goodies and French Champagne and with the excellent notification when the gift would be delivered. Well done, GiftTree!
The dozen cupcakes were no where near the advertised quality as well as shipping damaged was pretty extensive. The wine basket was ok but again, the quality of the product was substandard compared to the advertised and priced gift basket
Wanted to order something different compared to the same ole flowers
The product ordered matched with my wife’s liking
I purchased the Spring Bouquet Cupcakes as an Easter gift for family members. Was I ever disappointed. The price tag was high. The cupcake had an exquisite anise flavor, but was dry and barely edible. The floral bouquet also was dry and lacked flavor. Will I buy this item again? NO. Will I buy from GiftTree again. YES.
Product variety and customer care.
As far as cupcakes go, the product is the quintessential posterchild for cupcake eye-candy. I thought it would be a memorable gift, all choking on its' dryness aside.
I received four delivery confirmation emails for gift baskets ordered. I ordered four gift baskets to send to four different addresses. I received two emails confirming delivery to one address and two emails confirming delivery to another adddress but no email for other two gifts. Now I don't know if two were delivered to two addresses or where the other two are.
Because harry & David's shipping was too expensive but I don't think I'll order from you again. I paid $100. For a basket with about $25 worth of candy in it.

Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! I ordered a $60 gift for my boyfriend on father's day. He NEVER received the gift even though I payed extra for it to get there early. I complained and they SUPPOSEDLY resent it which was a BS lie because i was at his house when it was SUPPOSEDLY delivered (JULY 5TH)but the door never rang and his mom was outside cleaning at the time. They robbed me of my hard earned money. Never again will I order from them! Horrible company!
Dear Cassandra,
First and foremost, I am truly sorry that your boyfriend did not get to enjoy his intended gift! I do see that you contacted us on June 28th regarding this matter, and a replacement was set up immediately, which shipped out on June 29th to the address provided. You receive the tracking information via email of the replacement that was confirmed as delivered on July 5th. It saddens me that someone would take what is not theirs, but it does appear that is what has happened with these shipments.
As discussed today, I would recommend checking with the leasing office of the apartment complex these were delivered to. If they are not located, please do not hesitate to reach me at reviews@gifttree.com and I will be happy to reimburse you for the lost gifts.
Best Regards,
Sara
This was very easy, plus you gave me a $10.00 off coupon. Thank you. The only issue I experienced with my order was that it didn't arrive as scheduled. I called Giftree and the representative was very helpful. She explained that it must have gotten lost in transit. She apologized and she immediately sent another one and overnighted it. The person I gave it to was delighted with the basket.
Used in the past
Easy to order but sends me a review when I have not even received the product yet I either want my sons Christmas gift or my money back can you send me a tracking number for this I expect to hear from someone on this matter soon
They charge $25 to change locate when UPS Drive said they didn't have correct address. However the address that was originally given was correct. Gift Tree told me that UPS Charges $25 to go to different location. That is not true, I called UPS and said if it is in the same city they don't charge a fee. So, this is a Gift Tree only.

I was delighted to be able to order from Ireland a gift for my cousin in America and have it delivered. I know I had picked a day for delivery but unfortunately they weren't in but Gift Tree kept trying and eventually it was delivered. I would have no problem recommending GiftTree
Items differed greatly from those described something that has never happened before when I've ordered from this website. No prosciutto. Delivery was good.

Hi Diana,
I am sincerely sorry for the delay your gift encountered. It pains me to see a Christmas gift delivered after the holiday, and it was indeed weather that played a major part in this. While the gift does include California wines, we are shipping from Charlotte, NC which encountered a major winter storm both directly and throughout the midwest which is the path the gift had to take for delivery. We are sorry that we were unable to offer our normal level of service due to this.
I'm sending a gift card to your email as our way of bringing a little extra new year cheer and to say sorry that this happened!
Best Regards,
Sara M.
