This store has been my lifesaver on so many occasions. I am kind of a clumsy guy who always remembers to buy a gift when needed in the last hour 🥴 And just remembered that I have never written a review at least to thank them for their amazing service and show how happy I am that I have discovered them. Now, whenever I have occasion for a gift, I turn to their website and see if I can find something appropriate. And I always do 😀 The gifts come in nice and fancy packages, the prices are affordable and the delivery is fast. Also, they have a remarkable assortment so it is not tricky to find something for whatever occasion it is.
Are there even any words? Gift basket delivery was late, so my mother in laws birthday was over, you can see what they advertise vs what they deliver... and as for the wine? Cheap moscato that even had a "great value" sticker on it...

I ordered my 4 year old daughters teacher a birthday gift. It was supposed to be a beautiful basket with 2 bottles of wine and some fine cheeses, crackers, chocolate, and many other snacks. What showed up was a cheap ugly tiny basket with 4 bottles of cheap wine and nothing else. I was humiliated and embarrassed by how ugly the packaging was, and the fact that not one snack was sent for my 4 year old daughters preschool teacher. Just a bunch of nasty wine. I paid $149. What a rip off!

So, I ordered on 12/11 for a basket to be delivered well before Christmas. As of 12/13, it showed processed and ready for shipping. I checked in a week later and it was still in that position. Emailed the company, no response. 24 hours later did an online cat in which the person was supposed to get back to me with the warehouse response. 24 more hours later, I got a hold of someone on the phone who told me it looks like it never shipped. Too late for Christmas now. I asked for a refund and to cancel the order but still do not have the refund on our card.
GiftTrees have been consistently well received. They make a beautiful presentation and are beyond reliable on delivery times. This time the Holiday basket was even early. They are my go to for gift baskets.

As I expected. Across the board, there is no longer any excellence in customer service and this is in any segment of business. Customers are a nuisance - your put on hold or there is not enough customer service reps available. “We are experiencing a high call volume” - should be the national catch phrase for all businesses.

Read the other reviews. Ordered a birthday gift well in advance of actual due date. Wasn't delivered two days past the requested date. Got the run around about delivery issues, UPS, etc., no solid explanation. Asked for my money back and was told "that can't be done" by customer service. They offered to refund my delivery charges. Still don't know when, or if, my package will get delivered. Only way to resolve issue is to contact my credit card company. Stay away!

There could be a number of reasons for a package delay, such as ground delivery which is an estimated arrival date. But I would love to look into this further if there is anything I can do!

I have always loved the basket gifts and felt they were well done, however... It was advertised free delivery for Mother's Day. When I went to check out in order to make the delivery by Mother's Day, there was an extra charge for delivery. After all of that, the baskets did NOT arrive in time for Mother's Day. As I live 1100 miles away from my family, I chose this service to contribute to the day's festivities. The baskets were delivered on Monday. I did call customer service, who offered to pay back my delivery charge, and ultimately the refund for the baskets, however they never did process the refund for the baskets. There are lots of similar types of vendors - I will try a different one next time.
Delivery not met as promised and refund not processed as promised. Missed the entire event and in the attempt to make it right, promises were not kept. What good is a Mother's Day basket for parents who are gathering with children and grandchildren on Sunday when the baskets show up Monday? NONE!!

While more rare these days, we have continued to encounter delays due to the impacts that COVID-19 has had on shippers as demands fluctuate in various areas. I've reviewed your account and do see that a refund was promised upon the return of the gifts. I'm showing that the gifts were not able to be stopped and returned before they were accepted at 9:57am the morning of your call, Monday 5/10. This prompted the refund of the shipping costs to your card. I do see that we failed to follow up after discovering the deliveries were completed and we are sincerely sorry that this happened.

Customer service only apologized, but didn't try to help, didn't offer a solution or a discount.
My solution, to change the delivery address, was commented with:
"Takes 72 hours to change the address and costs additional 15,-"!
The order doesn't show up in the history, so I'm no able to track it.
Problems already at the beginning:
2 presents to the same person (same day) - double delivery costs!
Excuse of Gift Tree: the boxes are pre-packed.
They are not! As their youtube video shows. A lie!
As well as the high standards, they are mentioning in every answer here.

Typically I take my grandson shopping for new shoes for his birthday... you know the ones... those mom and dad say are too expensive and unnecessary. This year's trip ended up cancelled due to quarantine, so had to scramble and find SOMETHING I could get delivered by March 25th.
I was too late to order a "fun item" to arrive in time unless I wanted to pay $30+ for delivery (love my grandson, but couldn't justify that delivery charge). I finally came across a site called Gift Tree that typically offers free delivery, but was only $5.00 to get it there by noon today. I'm very impressed the Happy Birthday tower was delivered today and on time! I definitely recommend giving them some business if you find yourself in need.
Of course, only during quarantine would you send your grandson an entire stack of boxes filled with different kinds of candy, as well as birthday horns.
Ordered a gift basket and received a confirmation email and then 3 days later received an email that the basket I order was sold out and they were shipping another choice without any input from me.(the replacement basket had half the item my original basket contained) I also schedule a specific delivery date and the subpar replacement basket was delivered 6 days earlier than scheduled, resulting in no one being home to receive. Called Gift Tree and was told I should be happy with the replacement as it is one of their best selling items. Would not recommend this company to anyone. VERY poor service all the way around
Did not explain why a replacement basket was sent without ever contacting me to offer options, after they did not provide the basket ordered and had received a confirmation email for 3 days earlier. Also did explain why it was not deliver on the dates requested, but instead delivered 6 days to early.
Looked OK on their website and only list wonderful reviews.

I sent a Toast of California wine basket to my sister for her 59th birthday. The basket was beautifully created and contained ornate, individualized boxes along with wrapping that was described as very classy. The basket did not look like the one on the website, but was nicely presented in a gorgeous basket that can easily be re-used. Don't let the negative reviews deter you. I would definitely buy from Gift Tree again.

It's difficult to review a gift item, that you have never laid eyes on, except on a website. Unless of course, someone has gifted it to you. But my aunt recently received the gift basket I purchased for her with the two bottles of wine, one white, one red, and the three types of nuts. She reported that it was very elegant, was top notch, and even the box was so nice that she will "save it "to reuse it for something else. She hasn't tried that wine yet, but she says it looks awesome.

Honestly, it wasn’t the product I wanted. Several others baskets that had more items in them were a preferred choice for me, but they did not deliver to the town that the gift was going to. This particular gift what is deliverable to the city and state I need it to go to.

What a rip off. Ordered the Godiva Gift tower for my clients for Christmas and one for myself to see what we got. Paid 129.00 for each one. The towers was not worth more than 50 dollars at best or even less because it did not contain everything they said it would and other the 2 small Godiva bars everything else was generic crap. The quantity was so small that it was embarrassing to have sent it.
All went well with ordering and arrival on time. Was amazed it would be so quick.
Son and daughter-in-law delighted with cheeses.
I have to say I was disappointed when I saw a picture of content they sent us, as I thought (wrongly) that a bottle of port was included in the price! Wrong basket!
However shame prosciutto came from Italy and not the Niman Ranch, but family seem happy with their Christmas present and have no complaints.

I purchased a nice basket for some dear friends, and as of today they have not received it yet. First they sent me a note saying they could not locate the house, and so I asked our friend's son to explain the address which was correct, and so theoretically everything was on their way, and today that we checked, we hear the package has not been delivered.
The phone service I received was apparently OK, but as I mention above, the gift has not been delivered yet. So, what type of service sensation do you think I have?
Because it looked like a serious and professional firm, but so far my experience has not been good at all.

The gift itself is lovely and the recipients were delighted. My only other feedback would be that I loved the free shipping, but it's only free if you want the gift delivered a week out. It would set the company apart if they took a page from Amazon Prime and offered the deal with an immediate ship date.
I was initially unhappy with how the chocolates deviated from the shown picture (I understand this picture has been updated now), but found the follow-up by the customer service very professional. Presentation of gift card and ribbon also looked very nice.

We had a bunch of baskets ordered and they have a template to upload all your customers names and addresses which makes it super easy. You also get a confirmation email when the item ships and again when it is delivered. My order was placed with ease and I never needed any assistance.
