This store has been my lifesaver on so many occasions. I am kind of a clumsy guy who always remembers to buy a gift when needed in the last hour 🥴 And just remembered that I have never written a review at least to thank them for their amazing service and show how happy I am that I have discovered them. Now, whenever I have occasion for a gift, I turn to their website and see if I can find something appropriate. And I always do 😀 The gifts come in nice and fancy packages, the prices are affordable and the delivery is fast. Also, they have a remarkable assortment so it is not tricky to find something for whatever occasion it is.
Are there even any words? Gift basket delivery was late, so my mother in laws birthday was over, you can see what they advertise vs what they deliver... and as for the wine? Cheap moscato that even had a "great value" sticker on it...

I ordered a flower/plant arrangement for a friend who's mother recently passed away. My hope was to give her a calming color spread of plants that could live on (potted or in her yard.) I chose the "secret garden basket"—paying $100 for the "best" of the choices and delivery. Though the item arrived in the timeframe promised, it was nothing like the pictured advertisement! The basket was flimsy and half the size of the ad—with no handle. The flowers were frail & a bright yellow & purple (I HATE yellow & don't find it a calming color). If I chose yellow, it would be for a celebratory event, not a memorial. The plants were waxy looking, not the soft greenery I selected. The pathetic gift was toped off with cheap, shiny, two toned ribbon (in YELLOW and purple). The beautiful arrangement I hoped for had no ribbon at all. Finally, the gift message was torn off perforated paper that was poorly laid out & too dominate. The entire thing from pictures, price, to promised package were false advertising! Unfortunately, efforts to have the company rectify the order were only met with COVID excuses and no correction or refund. Completely unacceptable! I will not shop or recommend this gift service to anyone!

I checked the front door all day, looking at tracking as well. Noticed package on porch at almost 5 pm - it had been delivered at 4:28 or so. REFRIDGERATE IMMEDICATELY ON TOP OF BOX. I opened it - copious basket, lots of paper, and one silver package with 3 small cheeses in it, very soft! One small ice pack that was completely melted and warm. Olives and about 3 other small items. Awful - not kept cold, products I would be afraid to gift, and NOT a good value for the amount of $ I paid for it. I called, will be credited. Now I have to go out and fill the basket with replacement cheeses and other things for my husband's father's day.
I described what happened. The agent offered to send another, but not a good idea since it is for Father's Day. So I will get a refund.

After a purchase months ago, I still receive emails from Gift Tree. I have clicked on the button to unsubscribe a hundred times and the attached image comes up. This is their way of not permitting customers to unsubscribe and these marketing emails come in DAILY! Martin McClanan CEO and founder Craig Bowan should be embarrassed by these unethical policies. Perhaps the local DA, FCC, and FTC will be notified. DON'T PURCHASE from this company if you don't want your inbox filled daily with this marketing ploy!

Overall very good experience however a gift sent for Administrative Professionals Day during Covid should be delivered during business hours. A delivery after 6pm diluted the goodwill gesture.

Recommendation of the item from past patron
If you're looking for a basket for that special someone, keep looking. Although I ordered more than a week before Mother's Day and free delivery (estimated) was to be on the Friday before, Mother's Day was yesterday and my mom still hasn't received her basket. Since it was over $100, I was really hoping she would receive it. Instead, I received a message on May 6th (Wednesday) saying my package was delayed for reasons beyond their control and that alternative means of shipping were being determined so that it could get there as soon as possible. Look, I know there's a pandemic going on and a lot of business is whack, but this is affecting everybody, especially for us who can't be with our family. If you can't do something, just say so for goodness sakes and please do it while there's time to get something else for those we care about. The Wednesday night before Mother's Day Sunday makes it pretty difficult to order something and get it there in time. If I can order and you can process my payment so quickly, maybe try to do all you can to deliver. Thanks for making me feel even more helpless during this COVID-19. Hope your moms had a great weekend. Apparently mine didn't matter.

We sent this to my brother for his 70th birthday. He loved all the goodies and accompanying picnic basket. We have again been totally satisfied with the product quality and service from Gift Tree.
I have used you all many times, but I will not anymore. We got this last gift for my co-worker who unexpectedly lost their cousin. We needed on the 27th of July in which you all stated it would arrive. Today is August 2,2022 and we still HAVE NOT RECEIVED. NO ATTEMOT has been made. We are open between 9 AM to 5 PM. So I am extremely disappointed and would like to thank you for not assisting us in making our co-worker feel love.

Baskets arrived on time and had very high quality products.
The fruit was ripe and ready to consume. The one pear in a basket was quite bruised, but all over fruit looked great.

Overall this is a fantastic company with great products. However, when ordering you acquire a specific delivery date, if that date comes and leaves without the delivery taking place the customer should be notified of the next potential date. Out of 4 baskets ordered and all having the same delivery date to different locations only one make it on time. I can live with that given the Pandemic environment we live in. Two of them the next day and the last one was delivered 4 days late. Time matters and so does communication. Not once was there an email received providing an update. So, we didn't know if it had been delivered during that time and was just sitting which presents a problem of theft another environment we also live in. When a target date is missed the customer should be notified that's just good customer service and recognizing that you care about the customer. The gift was a surprise so we couldn't contact the recipient and when emailed to inquire about location of the basket, it was out for delivery but made reference to the pandemic when there was another basket delivered less than six miles away 2 days before. Makes no since! I have been in customer service for over 40 years and communication is the key. There is not excuse for not working your customers to make sure they are aware of delivers or delayed delivers. There just could be information you will need concerning the delivery that the customer can provide when targets are missed my that many days!

Easy to maneuver website. This is the first time I have used you. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the friends we are sending these gifts to will be happy with them.
Not impressed when I ordered two cheese baskets worth $200 and $150 each and the cheese arrives completely melted. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? This is now not able to be consumed. I looked to see what kind of ice packs are in the packages and there is 1-2 packs of not great ULINE packs that only last maybe 8 hours when my baskets we're delivered in 2 days. UNBELIEVEABLE. NEVER ORDERING FROM GIFT TREE AGAIN.

They called and said they couldn't deliver the next day had to wait till Monday AND THEN I got an email from them informing me they could NOT deliver the wine only sparking water! Seriously - I had an elderly gentleman gift basket coming with fruit and wine and you are going to deliver sparkling water and almost a week later (it was a get well present) -- with all the competition online SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND PICK ANOTHER VENDOR THIS ONE IS HORRIBLE!

I placed an order on December 11,2023 it was to be delivered on December 23. I paid a high peak extra delivery charge of $4.95 for peak delivery time. The order wasn't processed until the 19th-8 days from the order date and wasn't shipped until the 21st-2 days before it was suppose to arrive. I received an email notifying me it would now not be delivered until December 30th. I know the weather has been somwhat of a factor in delivery but if it had been processed in a timely manner the weather would not have been a factor. I will not be using Gift Tree in the future.
