Tip do not bid to close to your max because it ignore your bid this is fact ebay not gixen if you want pay £10 or $10 dont just put in £10 you probably be ignored and some one buys for £10 but bid £10.50 or £11 and next increment may be £10.20 most people bid round figures you need to know ebay bidding to win item not blame Gixen. Work out whats best and win more but Gixen great tool.
Free service that gives you a huge benefit in bidding on Ebay.
With a very small annual subscription fee, even redundant.
Owner is really active in support and working together with eBay to get the best for you.
Looks more like charity than that he can make money of it.
Highly recommended.
Have been using Gixen for a couple of years, and I completely rely on it to help me bid! Bidding works very well, no bid failures so far (unless I'm outbid). Adding bids to my snipe list helps give me more time to consider my purchase. I've potentially saved hundreds of dollars!
Been using Gixen for about a year now, they have free and paid plans. I started with free to test it, was very happy so I upgraded since it's so affordable and I want to support them. Upgrading gets you access to their other data center, which makes your happen from 2 locations at once for redundancy, in case of a server failure (which did actually happen once and saved me). I do wish the UI was a bit more modern, but in terms of the core functionality of reliable last second sniping, it is flawless and that's the most important thing. I've saved thousands of dollars with this thing!
I have used this software for over 10 years, and it has never missed a snipe. I win my auctions the vast majority of the time. I would not even bother with auction style listings on Ebay if i didn't use Gixen
Gixen has helped me make 10's of thousands of dollars over the years with effective auction snipes. The free service works great if you want to snipe a few auctions casually. The subscription cost is also less than 3 cents a day if you use the service frequently and comes with unlimited snipes, snipe server redundancy, logic to bid/not bid on groups of items depending if you won/lost bids in that group, and more. This is an insanely good bargain, and I would hands down recommend this to anyone looking to get into sniping too.
If you use eBay more than three or four times a month for purchases, as I do, then it is not expensive to let Gixen handle the bids up to the time of the final sale. Using a snipe service saves getting emotionally involved with "winning" an auction. The bidders that must "win" will pay more out in the end.
Gixen is worth paying for.
Gixen has helped me win so many auctions! There's no way of measuring how much money it has saved me, but I know it's considerable. It's so easy to use and I've never once had a snipe fail to go through, like I did with other sniping services. Highly recommended!
I have used several snip bidding companies. Found Gixen to be the best. Simple, easy to use. Always worked for me. As you know using snip bidding does help one from getting wrapped up and carried away in the bidding process and bidding higher than intended. I believe that eBay is structured to keep that ball rolling along and achieve the highest bid for its customers. Not that there's anything wrong with that business model, but it may produce some bidder remorse without such as Gixen. That is basically true for all snip bidders, but for me Gixen works best when i need it. But that's just my experience.
I used Phantom Bidder for years. Recently because of changes at eBay they discontinued their services. After much research I signed up with Gixen for the paid service. It's worked flawlessly for me. Zero complaints
Answer: TOTALLY LEGIT! Been a paid up user for over a decade and never had a single problem.
Answer: It is obvious the reviewer had all the problems that he incorrectly blames on Gixen because he has visited other websites that have put malware/spyware/keyloggers/viruses on his computer. He won't admit that his problems are his own fault so falsely blames GIXEN for his own incompetence.
Answer: I have not needed to reach Customer Service. Their online help is pretty good. Just read.
Answer: It just works. Simple user interface. You can just "set it and forget it". Maybe the best online tool I have ever encountered.
Answer: Nothing at all. Gixen main service is free up to 4 winning snipes a month. Reliability for the free service is 99.5%. If you want higher reliability you can subscribe to Gixen Mirror. In that case your bid is sent twice, from two servers in different regions to minimize chance of failure. Gixen Mirror is inexpensive, around $6 / year, and there are different subscription types that can be seen on the settings page.
Gixen has a rating of 4 stars from 507 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally satisfied with their purchases. Reviewers satisfied with Gixen most frequently mention many years, mirror service and ebay auctions. Gixen ranks 6th among Auction sites.
