Apparently, after I've posted my negative review, the positive ratings have gone up for the Zendesk part of PlayerAuctions--looks like I've got some attention from the company. After reading a few of these reviews, I've noticed that there are possibly paid reviewers or their workers that are trying to promote the PlayerAuctions website. This has nothing to do with the Zendesk part of PlayerAuctions, which is about customer service and not about buying their products. Going through the actual PlayerAuctions website reviews, I've seen others (real, paying customers) having very similar experiences of receiving horrible customer service and having their time wasted. Additionally, I want to mention that they do have a "cancel order" option, and guess what? One of the reasons for canceling the order was pertaining to verification! Go figure. I'm tired of these con artists trying to cover up their reputations. This shady business needs to be put down. To anyone who wants to buy at PlayerAuctions, please look elsewhere. They will take not only your money but also your time; every second of your time is valuable; don't waste it by purchasing from PlayerAuctions.

I'm not writing this review about the sellers, since this site functions like eBay. While the whole site itself isn't bad, the compliance team is. I sent one clear form of my ID to verify my identity. They rejected it, claiming it wasn't clear enough and wanted another type of ID. So, I complied and sent them another. Again, it was rejected, even though it was clearly me in the selfie and on the ID. In the third email, I was met with a request, "please send a photo of your physical card, both the front and back part of it, including the following details: (Bank name, last four digits of the card, – and the name of the card owner). You may cover the rest of the information you do not wish to show." Wait a minute, I thought I already showed the card I paid for in my photo. However, I guess that didn't seem to be the case. I do not get why I need to have my bank involved when the payment I used was just a gift card. It was clearly shown as a gift card, but I can tell that the person reviewing it clearly didn't care. The address and billing address matched both of my IDs. The first time I sent my ID and selfie, they were clearly seen; the card by itself, and my selfie holding the card beside my face. In my last email, it was explained that these verifications are to verify if the buyer authorize the payment. Of course, I was the one that authorized the payment, but did my verification get accepted? NO. There are many, many more things I want to vent about, but I have to keep this short and simple. All in all, while some of the requests may be reasonable to "verify my identity," giving sensitive information out on the internet is completely UNSAFE. Having your ID given to others, by email- who knows what people can do with it. It's better to be safer than sorry, cancelling my order was the best choice I've made before exposing myself to bigger danger. I won't stop the rest of you from buying from this site, however, I wish you all the best of luck and not be in the situation I was in.
