Terrible experience with customers. I can't even find the right words to express how awful it was and how angry I am right now. This business is just garbage. AVOID doing business with them! I wish someone had forewarned me, however I am grateful to Torrecit for recovering my money from this awful business.
Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Their account/sales reps don't reply to emails. When I call on the phone to follow up, I've had to restart requests from the very beginning multiple times. From my time with them, I have established that Global Industrial is unprofessional and poor at record keeping.
1 year warranty on an ultrasonic humidifier, unit broke down within 2 months due to a bad design of the unit. Attempted to make a warranty claim for the failure and got the run around. Found the part, fixed it myself, 5 months in the unit breaks down again with an electrical component failure. Attempt to make yet another warranty claim and keep getting jerked around by their customer service group asking for another 24-48 hours to respond. 3 weeks later they keep asking for 24-48 hours to review.
We had been getting decent service and products from this place, but this action on their part we will no longer be purchasing from them. Pro-tip their brand name products are all rebranded equipment from other reputable companies. Once you find out who made their product, you can buy the same piece of equipment for a few dollars less and get better service. Search for the general equipment description to find them.
I purchased a scrubber machine which had to be replaced before even using it. Got a second machine and was only able to use it for an hour before the vacuum motor stopped working and one of the switches was bad. I tried getting a refund for this machine and the lady barely let me explained saying that they wouldnt take it back. These machines are no good, do not buy.
Total scam artists, they can't promise you a delivery date and they don't carry the product, they have to order it from another company and you chat with people in India that don't have a clue what's going on. I called the customer service number and they give you the runaround and say that someone will send me an email to verify that my order has been cancelled to issue a refund. But I never got that email. Had to dispute the charges with my credit card company. This company is totally Fraudulent, STAY AWAY!
Chatted with multiple individuals regarding unlisted dimensions on a listed item. "Tech Ticket" was created and "escalated." Two weeks after escalation there has been no follow up. I reached out to support again and was told they were waiting to hear back. I don't understand this way of doing business. Somewhere in their system there is a manufacturing drawing for the item. Somewhere there is a warehouse where the items are stored. An email or a phone call to someone inside the organization that has access to the information or the warehouse (and a tape measure) would give the information required. This isn't rocket science.
If you have another option I suggest you go that route.
Horrific customer experience. It was so horrible and I am still so angry that I do not even have the words to describe it at this moment. This company is absolute trash. NEVER do business with them! I wish someone would have warned me.
We bought a cart and they never told us it would take almost a month to arrive. Then it came with the cable routing hole in the cart top in the wrong place. The hole goes directly into the frame? The hole is useless. After losing tons of time trying to report the issue, they finally replaced it with a top that has the exact same problem. When I went to report the second top had the same issue, they tried to get me to send photos and go through the whole process again. So lame, never again will we deal with this company. They really lost a good customer.
I just felt it necessary to comment on the exceptional customer service call. I'm from Northern Ontario, so this is a completely unbiased review.
I spoke with a customer rep today (Pepper from Atlanta Georgia) and she plain-out made my morning mood. Kind, patient, knowledgeable and approachable. Very rare to have this type of experience with any customer service department. So, so grateful I got to deal with Pepper!
Our company purchase some shelves, it was delivery and it had concealed damage.
The company will not refund or send a replacement for the shelves. You have to advise them within 5 days
Of the damage or they do nothing. I submitted my claim and it took them 3 weeks to tell me there is nothing they can do, that I would have to reorder a new fixture. How does that solve anything. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL. Don't buy from this company unless you want to throw your money away and your taking a risk.
Was looking for an outdoor-rated oscillating fan. Espied one that was rated 5 star based on 23 customer reviews. TWENTY of the 23 reviews were the exact same customer and comment, just posted on different days. Buyer beware.
This company seems as if it is a fraud or not real. Beware of them most likely a scam. I ordered a few weeks ago with two day shipping. The two day shipping that you pay extra for is over two weeks now. The company bilked me out of over three hundred dollars for a fast ship item that was in stock. When calling to track or complain, you get handed off to other people who keep forwarding you to the next and then to the end of the conversation and review with ai that doesn't understand you. With no resolution.

On 9/21/23 I ordered 3 items. As of 9/28/23 on part of the order has arrived. After speaking with 6 representatives I will not have the rest of my order that they promised me by yesterday. I gave them every opportunity to fix the order, however customer service are out liars and very rude. They have tried everything to appease me except to fulfill the order. They refuse to pick up the half order and at one time told me to just keep it. Cost to much to return it, Now they just simply refuse to deal with me. They continue to claim they will refund my CC and have not. We have prepared the order for return and upon retaping the the box, the corner is damaged. CRICKETS. Never deal with these people.
Our business purchased an XL shelving unit from this "company"... you know how a metal shelf works? It has four poles- one in each corner. They sent only two and said that was "all it came with". When even the photo says differently, as does the 3 other identical shelves we've purchased from them. Customer service even had the audacity to HANG UP on us because we asked to return this useless item.
At my local big box building stores, mini water heaters can only be ordered online; but they were out of stock, for a month – so I shopped around and found a great price at Global Industrial. I read the horrible review but decided to take a chance. I tried to place an order online, but as is often the case, it doesn't work from U.S. to Canada. So I called and talked to lovely reps in Georgia who directed me to the Canadian office in Calgary where I talked to Charles. After that it was magic. He placed the order for me and UPS showed up a few days later, right on schedule. Whatever you think you've heard – Global Industrial is awesome. They have real people in customer service in both countries, who answer the phone promptly and help you get what you want. Call them!
I ordered a few extra heavy duty shelving units and over 24 additional shelf beams to add more shelves. Every package that arrived was heavily damaged. The packaging was weak and items were loose inside. A few pieces of tape and wads of packing paper in one box was all that secured about 25 pounds of metal beams. This lead to bent vertical supports and damage to 25% of the shelf beams. I contacted Global Industrial twice via email, called and left messages, and found their on-line chat to be non functional. I'm very disappointed with this company.
We bought 2 tables. Not very complicated, right? It's bene three weeks since we got them, the pallets were put together in the most hideous fashion, resulting in multiple damaged pieces. We also didn't receive part of the order, and received the wrong parts as well. 2 tables... so far 5 errors, and 3 weeks with 'customer service'... AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Do NOT buy from here.
Received damaged cabinet. Tried to contact customer service and was caught in "all of our customer service representatives are busy" for half an hour. Finally received first email after 6pm when my office was closed which put us one day closer to their 5 day return policy. Bottom line, their customer service system is rigged so you can't return damaged items. You're buying a pig in a poke every time.
This drafting chair is awesome. Delivered within 2 days and easy to assemble. The adjustable arm rests are great! Best chair I have purchased to date. Only took wasting my money on an expensive ergonomic one that did nothing for my back.
