Ordered from them on 6/30/22, received estimated delivery for 7/12/22. On 7/13/22 looked for my order. Suddenly it says" Awaiting Shipment" So I have messaged them since chat no longer will load as a option, 2 days later they say " We will message manufacturer" REALLY?
So their tracking still says "awaiting shipment, estimated arrival 7/26/22 so we shall see...
$300 for next day shipping on 7/11/22. As of 7/15/22, one day later than product was needed, the updated order status is "estimated" to be delivered 7/27/22. They literally choose NOT to provide tracking information (wonder why...), and if you feel the need to talk to customer service due to their inability to handle shipping in a timely manner, you can call the customer service phone number, and learn that ALL of their support team are "in training to better serve their customers". Every single time you call. Every day. There is no way to contact them minus the chat bot, which we all know how helpful that is. Bottom line, they are the epitome of how terrible customer service has become, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY.
Good reason for all the negativity. Find anywhere else to buy. Uship and Generac are just as bad. Save the hassles and frustration.
Recently purchased the wall mounted water bottle refilling station (model # *******). The idea is great however the design is poor as it does not allow space for the p trap. Additional work was required to install this machine.
Dumb company, dumb employees, dumb excuses, dumb processes, dumb business model, dumb logistics, dumb managers, dumb CEO, dumb WMS, dumb customer service, maybe the dumbest company of all time. Orders a plastic container and was never told it was on back order. Get notification it's 6 months back ordered. NEVER USE THIS DUMB COMPANY AGAIN!
I got a great deal on a drum sander motor. Global sent me a delay in shipping notice so I got concerned I had made a mistake. I read the reviews and became very concerned. I had not been charged yet for the purchase and through online chat I was told that would be the case until the item shipped. So I waited out the shipping delay partly because I could wait a few more weeks than normal. After a 2nd delay, I was about to cancel the order when I got an email stating the item had shipped. I was given a wrong tracking number for UPS because is was actually FedEx which I quickly learned from the online chat. I have seen many negative reviews for this company and so in the interest of justice I thought everyone should know that there were glitches with my order but I received the item and it works wonderfully. I will write a 2nd review if the motor stops working in the next 6 months or so.
Purchased two lockers. Assembled first one no problems. Second one, got all the way to the very last step and the holes did not align for the legs to make the locker stand evenly. Asked for new legs from Customer service to be sent. Was offered $60 to keep the completely unusable product. Asked again for just new legs. Was told no, they would not do that. They continue to assert that I'm just putting it together wrong. There's literally predrilled holes, there is no way to put it together wrong. I have a worthless $300 locker that stands leaning that I can't use. Piece of crap.
Their website figures shipping on returns incorrectly. They don't care about customer service they must outsource their customer service. They keep reading from a script and don't understand or address my concerns. Never do business here if you have to do a return its a nightmare. Paul
Our business purchased an XL shelving unit from this "company"... you know how a metal shelf works? It has four poles- one in each corner. They sent only two and said that was "all it came with". When even the photo says differently, as does the 3 other identical shelves we've purchased from them. Customer service even had the audacity to HANG UP on us because we asked to return this useless item.
This is the worst business I have ever encountered. I ordered two 3-tiered shelving units for almost $200 including an absurd $53 shipping for UPS ground and I ended up getting two shelves that attach to nothing. The picture mislead me to believe it was a 3-tiered shelving unit taller than a man and it was two small shelves with nothing to support them. Absolutely useless. When I tried to return it they wanted to charge me another $53 to ship it back. So in total a $106 waste of money for literally nothing at all.
We bought 2 tables. Not very complicated, right? It's bene three weeks since we got them, the pallets were put together in the most hideous fashion, resulting in multiple damaged pieces. We also didn't receive part of the order, and received the wrong parts as well. 2 tables... so far 5 errors, and 3 weeks with 'customer service'... AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Do NOT buy from here.
Beware, account Reps have no control or responsibility for prices quoted. I was told by their Rep a product would run $375 ea. Via email. When I received t he "official" quote tg we price jumped to $745. The "Customer Service" manager first said I lied then when I sent her the email she stated it wasn't a quote. Very arrogant and dismissive.
I've worked with payment processing and ecommerce platforms for a while. When contacting the company the ID they gave me and that I screenshotted they said was not in their system after they charged my card a few thousand dollars. When asking to chat with the accounting dept they mentioned that they didn't have one. I told them that they could look up the transaction in the payments portal and they said they didn't have access and didn't know how. This is highly unlikely and every company has an accounting dept. When asking to speak to management, I was told they would reach out and no one reached out. I recorded the conversation because it sounded off if anyone wants to hear it. I have since submitted it to the fraud department with the evidence from their site. This is really sad for all customers. They just take their payment, without delivering. Then they said to wait a few days and that the payment should just fall off. Not professional.
Placed order, sits in warehouse for a month still has not shipped, canceled order and they charged my card still has not shipped still no refund will have to dispute the charge with AMX as I dont see them returning or shipping I was todl we will email you and keep you in the loop NO EMAIL I have talked to 5 reps all lies they say waiting on warehouse to let us know it has not shipped I was like check the tracking number it shows it is still at your warehouse 2 weeks after I was sent tracking number Ordered the same item from Grainger and picked it up the next day I was planning on buying alot of shop items we need but know will go with someone that can actually supply our shop with equiptment and supplies I am still waiting on the last lady to email me with cancelation of order and it has been a week
I called to verify availability for an item and was subsequently sent a quote. When I clicked the link to place the order a 10% discount code popped up. I was first told on the chat site that the discount was a glitch and not available. I called and was then told that because I received a quote, the discount was unavailable. The online price and the quote were identical! I even mentioned when I received the quote that I expected a better price. DO NOT GET A QUOTE IF YOU WANT THE DISCOUNT. Even then, no guarantees... because then... IT MIGHT BE A "GLITCH"!
Placed a $15,000 order of in stocks items. 10 days later they still have not shipped... I. never get a straight answer. WILL NEVER USE GLOBAL AGAIN!
We are a small, family-owned business, trading on eBay, Amazon Marketplace, and Etsy, in various flavors of "Boardwalk Bargains" (whatever name was available).
In April 2021, we ordered 40 items from Global Industrial at a cost of $642.40 (not a small amount for a small business). Several months later, after having no updates on our original order, we ordered another product (in addition to the original). That too, was not available. A few months later, we received the second order, and were asked by Global Industrial about the original -- cancel or not? We asked to have that order remain in place. And we waited.
Today, one of our team (basically my wife, my daughter, and myself) checked the status of the order. It had been cancelled. I initiated a chat session (attached) and they (Global) had cancelled the order. I chatted with Patik, Atik, and some other "ik" -- I don't recall the name. When trying to reopen the cancelled order, I was told, "That's a new order. You will have to pay the *new* price" -- double the cost of our original purchase.
After being transferred to "customer service," I was told by Atik, "That's the price." The chat transcripts are included (5 images, but I was "chatting" for almost an hour. Also the current price is displayed in an attached image.
The chat session was closed and although I clicked the "forward session to email" our the email log showed that the session was never forwarded. Live and learn, I guess.
Return 4 items on my dime of their way over priced selection. It's ok, I order the wrong item. Some how all 4 boxes where damaged but the company refuses to provide any pictures to prove it and has been quite rude about it. The pictures they did provide are of one box and blurry. Told me to make a claim with UPS, the carrier. UPS won't accept the claim unless they have proof it was damaged. Rude customer service people at industrial said that they likely threw the boxes away and can not provide photos. Company kept the product and won't return the money. At this rate, I wouldn't put it past them to just put the products back into stock and resell them. I am out over a thousand dollars of my hard earned money. Avoid this company at all costs.
Do NOT purchase from this company- It will cause you a bunch of headaches. Also their customer service is obnoxious. Save the aggravation and order your things from someone else! They were supposed to call me to set up a shipment time since it was a residential shipment- they never did. The order arrived when I was not here. They needed to ship another piece and acted like it was another order and charged us $578? Really? It was part of the original order. They said - oh sorry. They are crooks.
On February 6th I was told they had an rpz backflow preventer in stock. Said it was shipping in 7 days. Here it is March the 8th and it has been pushed further and further away and I still haven't gotten the backflow preventer. They are now saying it will be shipped on March 18th and when I called they tried to charge me an extra $100 for one they did have in stock. I was told the one I ordered was in stock. I will never order anything else from global industrial and I advise anyone thinking about ordering anything to find somewhere else. Very unhappy customer.
Answer: TOTAL SCAM COMPANY. WILL NOT STAND BY THEIR PRODUCTS EVEN WITH A ONE YEAR WARRANTY.
