If you lay the law down with them, they perform well. For me, they show up exactly on time. They removed wrong charges after I spoke with a supervisor. Maybe if they think you're demented, they might try to pull something. Keep careful track of your trips and charges. My bank is aware of them and are watching my account. I had one strange experience with a driver and REPORTED IT IMMEDIATELY. Keep records and be proactive. I call them after trips and get exact charges. If you handle them correctly they are good about respecting you. GLB Highlander
I would put a 0 if rating was available. I signed up in Aug while my car was down. I used it 1 time then cancelled toward end of month. When I called the person kept telling me I had free rides available. I told them I didn't want free rides just cancel. I was not charged in Sept so assumed I was cancelled. Then I was charged in Oct. I called and was told I had agreed to a free month but it wasn't cancelled. A supervisor by the name of Frank was rude and told me I could not get a refund. He then hung up on me. SCAM!

I went thru the process of using their service.until they asked for my credit card.
I called only to find out
1. A membership fee
2. Cost the same as contacting uber or left directly.
3. They asked first my credit card number
4. I told them it was a scam and hung up
5. Sent email stating they should be ashamed for taking advantage of elderly
2 rides and I canceled. 1st ride driver wore a headset. That must be illegal. Felt uncomfortable. 2nd ride almost hit another vehicle. Went a long way around cost me $10.00 more because of that. $100.00 plus down the drain. What a ripoff. Never again. Bad company
Just had a lengthy interaction for a possible role with this company. The general feeling or takeaway is unscrupulous.

The way the plans are written up makes you believe if you start a plan it says operated ordered is Unlimited. But it is not.it only means that you get charged for each ride.i only needed a one mile ride at 915.and then was charged 10 to 15 over and above my basic plan. And before you realize this on your first ride three days have passed and you can't get a refund. Also they never came one night and every time I called them they kept telling me that they were looking for a driver even though I ordered it in the morning. Thank you God that, my boss waited and brought me home. Do not, make the same mistake I did.it was half the price to take a town taxi.

Don't fall for it!

Not at all after 2 rides.
The service at GGG is a mixed bag. Unlike other ride services, they do not allow any stops, a policy which was confirmed by a supervisor very recently. Although previously it was left up to the individual driver whether or not to allow stops for a passenger, GGG now prohibits all stops whatever. This is extremely inconvenient for elderly riders who may need to drop a letter into a curbside mailbox, return a book into the slot at the public library, leave off stuff at the recycling center, or pick up their dry cleaning or some item that a store is holding for them. With GGG none of these ordinary errands is possible: their service consists exclusively of dumping you off like a load of potatoes, and goodbye. Depending on your situation, you may find this acceptable.
My elderly mother was trying to download uber app on Google store when this offer popped in and it enticed her to sign up and she did not even understanding all the details. Then they charged her $124.
If there is a God hope he strikes these people that prey on the elderly.

Go go Grandparent tried 6 times to get money out of our bank account. Never signed up with them as we have our own cars. So there is no reason
My husband had to cancel his debit card, because of this company. Not looking good for ya Go Go grab the money.
Do not trust this service to provide reliable transportation to your parents ir grandparents. They could not process my credit card and spent over 2 hours trying to get it resolved. My 96-year-old mother-in-law told me she often will wait for over 5 minutes to get a ride. Terrible service. Why cannot Uber or Lyft provide a service like this and put this out of business?
There was a company called "Get There", they were terrible, I think this is the same company with a changed name...I have asked specific questions many times and never got an answer, I think it is because they know who I am and I know who they are...dont use them
On 1/26/24 I authorized a payment 0f 52,00 on behalf of my sister to GO GO Grandparents in which I believed to be a one time payment using my debit card. The business continued to use my debit without my authorization and when I called to inquire about it. I was met with a hostile supervisor that was so unprofessional that I was in shock. I was told on the phone that the charge was $52.00 but then when money was drawn from my account it was 59.94. The business attempted to charge my card again for $29.99 a few days later. GO GO Grandparents attempted to withdraw reoccurring payments from my debit card without authorization but my financial institution declined. The whole process on the phone was so drawn out that I was exhausted when I finally had my credit card removed from their records.
I wanted to use this service for a one time ride only. Tried to cancel in October and November. Spoke to a person who said my account would be closed and I would receive a refund for those months. It never got closed. Just spoke to an agent and was told they don't give refunds. I'm going to try again. This company is very friendly when you want a service, but they do a complete about face when you want your money back. I do not recommend this company at all.
Tip for consumers:
It should be clearer on membership policy.
I signed my mother up for this program given some recent injuries that have left her a bit disabled.
Not only is the marketing wording on their site shady, but the default toggle resets to annual payment, so if you navigate to another page, it resets anything you started scoping.
Then once you sign up for the membership, the fees of the rides are higher than what you pay just using a ride share app.
In my experience, they make a lot of money of folks that need help. And while more intensive services/support have validity for higher costs, the costs do not align at fair and are not as transparent as they should be.
I'm 75 years old and have a problem with my knee to where I can't go grocery shopping. I called Gogo grandparents and gave them the items that I need and what store to go to. I received all but one item and was charged $5.00 extra. I don't mind that so much as I was trying to get a receipt and they transferred me to a "carrier". Twice I was on hold for 15 minutes and never got an answer.
I called for a ride to the airport & they actually started charging me an extra $14.99 a month for a membership, that I did not approve. When I called them I was told they would not give a refund & that I was pretty much stuck with the charges. I am disputing these charges with my credit card company. I would never use this company if I were you, they will steal your money! Additionally, this service is mostly for us senior citizens. So they are taking advantage of & stealing from senior citizens! How pathetic is that! This company needs to be closed down...
Tip for consumers:
I am filing complaints with the BBB, the Attorney General, Consumer Protection as I am a senior citizen, Facebook, all over social media, the internet, & anywhere else I can think of...I hope the $45 is worth it to them.

They would not give me a refund at all. I got absolutely nothing for the $14.99 for the past 3 months!
I gave them my exact street address and city for the pickup. They sent a driver to a
Duplicate street address in the wrong city then billed me for the driver's lost time. This
Was the second time they've misdirected a driver. They also add a significant
Surcharge to your bill.
I can live with an occasional error, but their refusal to acknowledge it is unacceptable.
I'm 86 yeas of age, one month ago I agreed to sign up with Go-Go grandparent. For others, please don't make the same mistake I did. For this service I was charged $245.88. I used one trip both ways with them and charged the usual charge by Uber. I called Go-Go to arrange their service to order groceries and have them delivered to me. What I discovered was that I could call the grocery store myself, order the groceries and have the store deliver them for a lot cheaper than I would by the Go-Go service. I had their service a little over one month and when I called to cancel my account, I was told I was not entitled to any refund. It apparently is all included in their agreement which is quite long (my huge mistake). I consider this an abuse of senior citizens!

They leave you on the line acting like they are trying to help you and they are taking other calls while telling you I'm working on your situation. Only one person taking calls. They suck!
GoGo Grandparent is a service that you can subscribe to for yourself or your parent, so that seniors canorder a Lyft ride by calling an operator rather than using an app. I intended to sign my mom up for a monthly subscription so that we could see how it worked for her. And I signed her up for the top tier of service. But Gogo processed it as annual membership, and changed me $4509.89. No one would deliberately pay that kind of money for a ride service they've never tried before. And I certainly didn't.
I didn't realize they had charged me the $4509.89 until my mom went to use the service a couple weeks later, and called me to say she didn't have any ride credits. I got into our account to check on the 8 ride credits that were included in the monthly fee. In looking for them, I saw the charge deep within my online gogo profile.
The confirmation email they sent me when I signed up didn't have the charge on it. And the way the website appears, the monthly cost is in really large bold print above the much smaller annual cost, which is not bolded.
I contacted them and after herculean efforts on my part, they agreed to a refund. But they wanted me to drop the chargeback dispute, which I was unwilling to do given my significant concerns about thier buisness practices. A supervisor called me and said that wouldn't be an issue, but now they are disputing the chargeback.
Cuando llamas para l servicio te dicen que tienes que comprar una membresía si no no te pueden dar el servicio y ni te explican si el cobro es anual o mensual eso no es ninguna ayuda
