I had bought tickets through Goldstar (at half price!) but a few days before the performance, my friends had to deal with a family emergency that meant they wouldn't be able to attend. Although I knew the tickets were non-refundable, I saw the notice on the Goldstar site saying to contact them with ANY problem -- so I emailed. Amazingly, a customer service rep responded within minutes. The bad news was that Goldstar had already turned in the final tally to the theater and thus were financially liable to the theater for the tickets -- so no refunds or credits were possible. HOWEVER, the rep voluntarily called the theater and asked if they'd be willing to let us shift to an alternative, non-Goldstar performance later in the month. Within an hour, we were all set with a different date -- saving me $180. Many thanks to Goldstar and to the theater!

Somehow I wound up double ordering tickets which I did not find out until I got to the venue. The day after I contacted Goldstar to see if they could refund my money. They had to go back to the venue and were able to get me full credit for the mistake I made. Most ticketing companies will just say "Sorry" you made a mistake and you are out of luck but they went the extra mile!

I've used Goldstar for years, I particularly love the visibility it gives me on events I wouldn't know about otherwise. The website is really easy to use and ordering tickets is fast, straightforward and a great user interface. I had to use their customer service for the first time earlier this week, at first I was put off that I couldn't call them but I shouldn't have been; I got a response and resolution (I had ordered tickets for the wrong day by accident, they canceled the first order and issued new tickets for the right day) within 15 minutes. I was blown away and very impressed. Apparently not having a call center makes them super efficient in their customer service.

I have had the privilege of using Goldstar for many shows, always tremendously satisfied with the value proposition they are offering, and perhaps just as important, the flexibility of the company to accommodate you. I had to cancel a show just last week, an hour before the show... answered quickly, offered another show, and when I was unable to make it, immediately offered me a credit. The response is timely, flexible, and every representative I have used is exquisite!

I have purchased many deals, and honestly have had plenty of buyer remorse, with little help from the big boys of the coupon business... days after purchase.

Goldstar is my FIRST CHOICE in the coupon wars... utterly refreshing in every way and beyond. Excellent selection, amazing value and with each correspondence you actually do receive timely, helpful answers... they are on YOUR side! Enjoy, and keep it up G*!

I have used Goldstar to buy theater tickets and have always been pleased with the seats I have received. Since I am handicapped, I have emailed the Goldstar Help desk and described my physical limitations. Each time I have done this they have responded by email within a couple of hours, contacted the venue, and then notified my whether or not the venue would be able to meet my needs. The last time I did this they notified me within three hours that my needs would be accommodated by the venue. I love Goldstar!

I've used Goldstar probably a dozen times, and have been extremely satisfied with the results. I've found great venues and amazing deals consistently. The few times that I've had a question, they've answered it immediately. Recently I bought my wife a ticket to an event, but at the last minute I realized my name was on the will-call and not hers. I emailed their support service in the middle of the night, woke up to their reply telling me to just email my wife's name and they'd make the change and resend it. I emailed them back, and got a reply with the new tickets in less than 5 minutes. I recommend Goldstar to any of my friends who want to get out and do something new, and don't want to spend an arm and a leg to do it.

I have been purchasing entertainment events from Goldstar for quite a few years. When
I had a family emergency & was unable to attend a play I'd purchase tickets for, Goldstar
Followed up diligently once I e-mailed them. They contacted the venue and I was able to

Very accommodating, customer service will go that extra mile to help you if you need to change tickets, cx tickets find out info about parking at a particular venue. They respond withing a very reasonable amount of time. I dealt with Justin and he was extremely helpful.
I got myself so confused with trying to use credits and a gift card and pay the balance and he was able to sort things out and I got my tickets. Highly recommend Goldstar!

Recently I purchased two tickets to a Neal Diamond concert... I got the bill,,, but no mention of tickets I had three people working on the problem because it was to be an anniversary gift to my wife who loves Neal... About a week before the concert I received an email stating the problem had been resolved and the tickets would be coming within days,,, True to their word the tickets arrived,,,,, A few days ago we went to the concert and had a BLAST... our 12th Neal Diamond concert,,, our best,,, and all thanks to the wonderful people at Goldstar.

This is probably the first and last time I'll use Goldstar... I have been using others such as Groupon, Living Social and Amazon Local Deals and refund policy have been very clear and specific compared to Goldstar.

**Updating my rating as Goldstar rectified my issue. Specific refund policy is still needed for each event.

Hi Jessilyn! We do state our refund policy on our checkout page:

"Refund Policy: All purchases are final unless the event or service is cancelled by the ticket supplier or service provider."

We have some flexibility when it comes to cancellations/exchanges for will-call events. However, for events for which vouchers or e-tickets are sent to you immediately after the transaction is complete, all sales are considered final, as the vouchers/e-tickets are in your possession at that point and cannot be canceled. I am a frequent user of Goldstar.com's service. Goldstar let's me know about some really great arts, culture, and music events around town. I especially like their Red Velvet service that allows you to cancel events that you have bought, almost to the last minute. This is great because my busy and sometimes unpredictable work schedule often results in my not being able to attend an event. I used to have to "eat" the tickets but with Goldstar's Red Velvet service, I almost always am able to get a refund. This is a huge convenience and keeps me coming back.

Have been a member of Goldstar for a few months now and I can't say enough about the organization. Have managed to get good seats for the productions that we have requested tickets for. These are not just "oh, nobody wants these anyway" seats. They are seats in great spots in the theatres. If you like to go out and see plays and attend events but don't want to spend the big bucks this is the group to belong to! You can order ahead of time; they tickets are on reserve and you get really great prices. You can actually plan your trip a few weeks ahead of time -- unlike some of the places where it is day-of-performance in order to get any kind of deal. There are always many dates and times to choose from. It is up to you. And they people you deal with are super to work with. I messed up an order by splitting it into two orders... and those wonderful customer service folks found both orders and we were even able to get seats for all 4 of us together. You simply have to check this out! There is nothing better for event tickets than Goldstar

I take my mom to events. She is in a motorized scooter. She can walk, but not long distances. Goldstar has always accommodated her needs. My emails are always answered promptly and even when I make a mistake, they rectify it.

Minneapolis/St Paul has many small theater groups, and GoldStar seems to know what's going on with all of them, as well as the big theaters. I once used GoldStar to help a coworker find something special at the last minute for an anniversary he forgot. As a single person, there's no stigma in buying just one ticket. I've also arranged adventures for groups of friends. The website is easy to use and if there's ever a problem (even if it was my mistake), their customer service is second to none.

My husband and I are always traipsing into Manhattan in search of adventures -- and Goldstar has a lot 'em lined up at deep discounts - plays, cruises, museum passes, etc. Once your account is set up, the ticket ordering process is fast and painless... and on only one occasion, we got "stood up" for a walking tour... but after emailing Goldstar, a credit was swiftly approved. The site is a really good deal

I bought tickets to a show I thought was in Los Angeles, but turned out to be in NYC!
The day of the show I realized this and instantly contacted customer service and explained what happened.

Customer service was amazing. **5 star.** Took care of my error, ate the tickets and refunded my money. This is what I look for when selecting a vendor, great support. I am now a lifer.

Goldstar Rocks!

I purchased 4 tickets for an upcoming event about 2 weeks ago. Just this morning I noticed that I had requested the wrong date (2 day event). I'm new to Goldstar and was not sure if anything could be done, typically you have to wait 24-48hrs before getting a response. I sent an e-mail to Goldstar's customer service team and within a couple of minutes I received an e-mail stating that it would be taken care of... within 10 minutes I had an e-mail confirming the refund and one directly afterwards with a nice memo with a confirmation for the tickets on the date requested! I cannot wait until after the event - stay tuned! I have not seen customer service like this in a while - well done!
