I booked 2 tickets from South Africa to France on Air Algerie through Gotogate in about June 2024. Flight departing mid September. The flight was cancelled by the Airline on 17 August. Their refund policy stated 15 working days. This was 6 weeks ago and no refund has been received. The reason now given is that I was a "no show"! There are currently no Air Algerie flights to South Africa, so it would be difficult to be a "no show" if there are no aircraft! Gotogate keep fobbing me off with excuses. My advice - do not book through Gotogate if you want a refund if the airline cancels the flight. They should just be transparent and tell you upfront - no refunds on this flight for whatever reason. I am going to pursue this further.

This is the second time I booked a flight through your website. So far, my experience has been very positive. I intend to travel more often using your website.
The gotogate website charged me twice for the same flight. I called EasyJet airlines and they checked everything and issued a full refund. But gotogate charged me $90 to cancel the reservation for 2 people and to to issue a refund. Even though the website charged me twice I still had to pay for cancellation. Unfair. Our family of 5 travels to Europe every summer, this summer we have about 20 flights multiplied by 5 people is 100 tickets and I will male sure I don't use gotogate for any of them. Very unsatisfied with the fact that gotogate uses randomly generated emails for me and uses it's own payment method so that any refunds from airlines goes through gotogate.
Trying to save $20 I lost $150($90 cancellation fee plus $60 international call)

We bought round trip tickets from cebu philippines to jeju island and back to cebu philippines with transit to busan. Our mistake we did not check if we are needing visa since filipino need not visa in jeju but we are transiting to busan for 2 hours which will require visa. To cut it short we were just in cebu airport and could not board aircraft and we can not refund since we bought our ticket to gotogate according to the airlines. When we contacted gotogate next day the plane left so, we can not refund.
Thats fine. Since our vacation is 3 weeks, we requested a refund for our way back to cebu philippines. More than 10 communications and request and we were constantly assured not to worry. Until i was asked that we can not refund but rebooking is ok if we call a centain number. When i called, i was advised that it is not possible. We again communicated and ask for rebooking now is our request for almost 3 weeks despite if their assurance nothing happened. Asking what dates we prefered etc and 2 days before the schedule for our supposed jeju to cebu asked to please rebook or we wil loss the chance since the schedule is one day ahead. Again we were assure not to worry. Since yesterday the day we should be from jeju to cebu, we can not contact gotogate. Bad bad bad gotogate.

The process was simple enough, but normal seat selection at a cost, and the seat is way at the back in the middle did not make sense at all.

As an older adult with weak eyesight and slow reflection, I have made mistakes and wasted money on buying tickets online in the past. However, this time, the process went smoothly thanks to their considerate service.
The website was easy to navigate. The prices were great for travel less than 2 weeks before departure.
They charge an 88$ handling fee to cancel within 24h of booking. How is this even legal? I think this is a completely unnecessary red flag to all customers.

I am writing in the hope that you can help me.
In December 2019, I bought 4 flight tickets on the route Tel Aviv-Bucharest-Cluj Napoca for the dates of 29.05.2020-09.06.2020 for which I paid the amount of $1034 through the company GotoGate, the company that is from Uppsala. The flight was with the Romanian transport company TAROM.
On February 21,2020, I received an email from GotoGate that our flight was canceled due to Covid.
I had a lot of correspondence with the people from GotoGate and with the people from TAROM to return the money for the plane tickets, but unfortunately I have not received the money for the plane tickets even until today.
My prayer is if you can get me the refund of the flight tickets.
I have all the documents to prove this.

After paying for your ticket, you have to pay for your seats, too! I clicked "no" for all for-a-fee additions, so I have no idea what this travel experience will be like.
It only took me 2-3 minutes to book my flight after google found me the cheapest fare. Super easy!
