I booked 2 tickets from South Africa to France on Air Algerie through Gotogate in about June 2024. Flight departing mid September. The flight was cancelled by the Airline on 17 August. Their refund policy stated 15 working days. This was 6 weeks ago and no refund has been received. The reason now given is that I was a "no show"! There are currently no Air Algerie flights to South Africa, so it would be difficult to be a "no show" if there are no aircraft! Gotogate keep fobbing me off with excuses. My advice - do not book through Gotogate if you want a refund if the airline cancels the flight. They should just be transparent and tell you upfront - no refunds on this flight for whatever reason. I am going to pursue this further.
I bought a 200$ ticket for India, I have to cancel because Canadians can't get visa I have to chat with them to cancel, they tell me to call directly the company and the charge me a 56$. I don't receive my refund, I chat with them, hey charge another 56$ plus fees. I get a refund of 55$.

7th day trying to cancel / Refund flights ==>> 4 hours to get to their first attendant... then 2 hours to get to their scheduling team... to then hear from a clueless individual that, he doesn't have the necessary access to put the cancelation through, ad then would have transfer me to his colleague and I was not gonna wait more then 15 min (Liars)... another 3 hours till the call was dropped!
So frustrating as they purposefully redirect you call till you get lost... and just give up cancelling.

I have tried for months to get in touch with them, their phone lines arent working and they don't reply to emails or complaints on their website.

I had to cancel my tickets for personal reasons one month before my flight. There is no one to talk to or email. I lost my flight fare. Never and i mean never book a flight with gotogate. I booked cancellation protection but it still didn"t help.
This trip is the worst trip of my life. Right now I feel very tired but I can't sleep at all. I have to fly from MSP to BKK 20 4th Jan 2020. I tried to check in 24 hours in advance before flying, but this time, there are some problems with my tickets. The system told me to go to check in at the counter.
First of all, I had to fly with Delta. When I arrived at the counter, the Delta staff swiped my passport for a while, frowned and said in English that "In the system, it states you that you haven't paid for the ticket." I was so confused. I've already paid for this ticket. I have booked it in advance for 5 months. The Delta staff tried to call someone for a very long time. And after calling he said that the agent had cancelled my return ticket."
I almost have to pay 1,000 USD more for the unpaid ticket, but Delta airline booked the new ticket for me. Gotogate is a SCAM. Do you use them. I warn you.
I will never use your company again you sold me tickets in AU $ and charged in US$. Not only that you sold me changeable tickets with free cancellation that cost another $300 + US$ and you never passed that info to Jetstar and now I can't cancel my tickets.I am having this delt with by the bank, as 2 times you deceived me and I intend to get on every review site and rate you accordingly. I'm on a pension and when the price quoted the total amount in Au $ then turn that into US$ to charge me over 2 and a half thousand dollars for 2 tickets from Sydney to Bali, tickets normal price is around $600 Au each. Plus I was charged $75 US for international exchange fee. Seriously you are thieves that I intend to make a lot of trouble

I purchased plane tickets online and they could not immediately confirm the order. After calling in twice they asked for two hours to resolve the issue or they would cancel the order. After wait up until after midnight and sitting on hold for an hour they could still not get a manager on the line to take care of the issue. They said it would take a minimum of 2 to 24 hours to get a call back and up to 72 hours to get a confirmation or rejection of my order. The agents are handcuffed and cannot do anything to help the customer. Calls are routed to a call center in India where they are understaffed and useless.
Instead of using my card that they charged, they use their own card, and then when you get the refund. They will never let you know that you would get some money, you'll have to contact them and they will charge you additional 56 dollars to get your own money back.
Impossible to reach them by phone or by email. Impossible also to get a refund the credit card company sided with them even though I provided Covid documents! Stay away at all cost! This company is also called mytrip.com

The airline that we had booked through GoToGate cancelled a flight and the offered alternate flight had timelines that did not work for our connections. We booked a different flight and GoToGate has not refunded payment for the cancelled flight after 5 months. Their responsiveness has been terrible and suggested that the airline could be part of the problem. Friends of ours who had booked directly with the airline in question received a refund within 30 days. How are these guys still in business?
This is the works company I have ever dealt with. I have been trying to correct a spelling error in one of the passengers' names, from "ey" to "ye", and it has been for a week. They charged $66. For this service and nothing yet to show for it. They put just a couple of unfortunate soles that answer to calls and they have no idea to solve the problem, no manager to talk to.

Got to airport in June 8,2023 to find out that I didn't appear on the flight roster! I had to buy a new ticket on the spot and now fighting to get my money back.
My flight was cancelled and the airline said I was entitled to a full refund. However, I had to obtain the refund through Gotogate (which I didn't even know I'd booked with--I thought I was still on the airline's website). I contacted Gotogate and they refused to refund my money, even though they are eligible for a full refund of my money from the airline. They just won't give that money back to me. The airline can't talk to me because of the third party. Don't EVER do anything with Gotogate! They're a scam.

Flights booked via Gotogate.com. I reserved and paid for specific seats. The airline does not have a record of the seat reservation. Gotogate did not resolve w/ airline and did not acknowledge the issue.
Horrible service! They couldn't help me with a mistake they made on their end. They misspelled my last name by one letter on the boarding pass. On top of this they wanted to charge me to fix it, and when I asked to speak with a supervisor; suddenly my call was ended.

The company doesn't follow their own polices. We purchased refundable tickets, we have all confirmation from them in their own chat, fair rules on their own website says we can refund, but at the end their just refuse to refund our money. They ripoff people, disgusting feelings.

I received my flight reservation soon after I booked the flight. I could see my reservation on the website of the airline, so it is absolutely safe to use gotogate. I needed an e-ticket, I contacted gotogate via facebook and they sent me the e-ticket 2 days later. I am very satisfied.
I'm not sure why this company is still operating. I had to fight so hard to get a refund from them for flights cancelled due to Covid. Their customer service is practically non-existent! Eventually, I facilitated the refund myself, directly with Ryanair, who paid the money to Gotogate. However, I still had to battle with Gotogate, who claimed they needed to "raise a refund request" with the airline, and that the cost of this would be deducted from my money - this, in spite of the fact that Ryanair had paid them weeks previously and my money was sitting in their account! They are dishonest and fraudulent - please avoid!
