I ordered a transmission for my son's 2001 Acura CL type s. After I ordered it I read reviews. This raised a red flag. I emailed wanting to cancel but was told there would be a restocking fee. This was in the agreement so I decided to leave it be. Shipping was within the time given. Transmission was installed by the Acura dealer. Everything checked out, the transmission shifts smoothly and does appear to be within the stated mileage according to the tech who did the work. At this point I can't complain. These transmissions are known to have problems. I plan on doing a fluid change as recommended yearly by the dealer. Just to be clear, I'll have the dealer do that also. As for now, I have no issues with got transmissions. Joe One note The Dealer did say the handling in shipping was rough but nothing was broken, dip stick was bent but all is well. This is no fault of GT
I put in claim with my bank asI had to return the junky transmission my dealership advised against using when they saw it. I am out the ups shipping cost to them of $201 but for rest back. I should know check reviews FIRST. Got transmissions has lousy ones

NO NO NO, DONT DEAL WITH THESE FOLKS PERIOD,,,,, unless you enjoy being played, i ordered trans last month,,, for a friend, so when i tried to call for a reply as to where is the trans,, i only get voice mail, S they set voice mail stating the same thing {we will send trans and tracking number} its not here as of today. HELP?... CAN ANY BODY HELP!
I feel that even one star is more than this company is worth. They took $585 dollars from me and no transmission was going to be delivered. I called and ask for my money back and they refuse to answer my phone calls or emails. My next stop is the BBB and a attorney. How can a company that is closed up continue to sell false products? WATCH YOUR SIX, BAD BAD COMPANY!
I bought a used transmission from these people in December of 2019. There is a tight 10 day window to have it installed and activate the warranty after it is delivered. My mechanic was able to meet the time frame.

The emails got kicked out and nobody EVER answered the phone. I tried the email route several times and gave up. I called multiple time, left messages, and never heard back from them. The last few times I tried to call the phone did not allow messages to be left. Of course after a couple of weeks, I am getting a transmission fault code. I left a complaint with an online mediation website and they informed me that they passed the complaint on to the company for resolution. No response at all. I wish I would have read the reviews prior to my transaction. A one star review is way above the review that this company deserves. It needs negative stars for it to be accurate. THIS COMPANY IS A TOTAL FRAUD! STAY AWAY!

I purchased a transmission for my 2008 Pathfinder. I had installed at a local shop. Had problems immediately. Had it checked by a legitimate transmission company. They said the transmission provided had a bad 4th gear. I called them and they would not call back. After many attempts they said they would not refund or replace the unit. DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

Where do I start? Should it be where I called and ordered a Transmission, provided the vin, and they still sent the wrong one? Where they charged me $500 more dollars to send it back and get a replacement? Or the fact that it was a month ago and I still do not have my replacement transmission? I have called for 2 weeks and they have promised to me day after day and I still do not have it. What do I have? An extremely mad customer who has been without their vehicle for a well over a month. I could have easily got a transmission from someone else but they kept promising it to me day after day. I still do not have it. He is now trying to use the excuse of the "pandemic", yet their website shows they are taking orders and shipping every day, The shipping manager would not give me the name of his boss or who owns the actual company, so I guess I will let our attorney track him down. In the mean time, I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and warning every mechanic shop that I know of to not purchase anything from them.

Do not know what happened to my original review? I will redo now. DO NOT order/buy ANYTHING from these scam artist! This a Fraud/Scam co. They have a very impressive website. Say they offer 12 month parts /labor warranty, that is how I got sucked in. I ordered a trans for 2001 volvo awd.The site said only had 57k miles. After paying 1200. 00 luckily with credit card, did not hear anything for 3 days, then notified would be 18-24 days for delivery? Contacted them to cancel and got runaround. I notified my credit card co. And filed dispute immediately. They said would have to wait for Got Trans. To respond 30 days. In mean time i acted as new customer and they responded, after telling I had already ordered and want to cancel said would cost 300.00? Then weeks later they deliver a horrible trans that had at least 257k miles, black/brown fluid burned! Contacted warranty dept. again no answer/ runaround, went other route and they said I was out of warranty! They tell in warranty to wait 14 days after delivery and 500 miles before contacting them. Then say you waited too long to activate it! SCAM--SCAM --SCAM! Luckily credit card co. Refunded my 1200. 00, I got lucky as i have read others got burned! Terrible how they can stay around and do this to people! SAVE YOURSELF! DO NOT EVEN THINK of dealing with these thieves! 1

WISH I READ THESE REVIEWS FIRST... Web site I contacted was Got Transmissions, Received e-mail reply quoting price was SW Engines and was charged by a company called EngineTransmissions. I cancelled my order and was told they would cancel the order but was keeping 25%. No where on my invoices was there a restocking fee and I canceled before they even finished processing the order so to be charged 25% for a job they did not even complete is criminal. They took their time refunding my account and yes kept the $168.75 for doing nothing. When I called to cancel I was told to leave a message for "Manager" John. I left two messages and to date, no return call. I did speak to one man who yelled and shouted at me not allowing me to say anything. When he took a breathe I asked why he was yelling. Big guy stated he was a grown man and that's the way he talks. I feel sorry for any wife, kids or heaven forbid family dog. This company needs to be investigated and I know it's just a matter of time. Each time I'd call, they'd hang up on me. Very NOTprofessional right!?
