Marketed and presented as a leather handbag. What arrived is vinyl crap! The chemical smell of this product is enough to make me sick. Do not buy from this website! If I could give under one star I would.

I've filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I paid for "high quality leather" and "the finest leather" bags, but I received fake leather bags that are worthless. When I complained to *******@grace-bags, I told them I wanted a refund because I was sent garbage-quality, cheap, poorly constructed polyurethane bags, and when I claimed false advertising, they told me that they never said their bags were leather. (see photos of what I got vs what I ordered.) I was offered various refunds to keep the bags - starting at 15% refund and then 30% and 40%. Grace's Bags is a complete scam. I've reported them to the Better Business Bureau, and I have a complaint ID number. To return these bags to China, it costs $42. Do yourself a favor and block their site - graces-bags.com is a complete scam practicing fraud.

Not soft leather handcrafted as described. Machine made synthetic. Very unattractive and worthless. I realized soon after I placed the order but there was no way to cancel or contact customer service.

The bag finally arrived. Cheap plastic and I would never use having paid £47.5 emails to arrange refund and no responses. Despicable dishonest people who should be prosecuted but of course never will or can be

I ordered two bags.
#1 They are not leather.
#2 They are not from some woman who is making these bags in US who is retiring as implied.
#3 They are fair at best quality
#4 One has some other company's logo stamped on the bag twice.

I consider this website to be a scammer site. This experience might have been ok if I paid an off-shore vinyl purse price, but I did not.

This bag is PU leather and made in China. I email the company and said your website is very misleading and wanted a refund. I was told it would cost 30.00 for return shipping! So much for: Welcome to my world of leather bags. I'm Grace, and I've spent the last 34 years perfecting the art of leathercraft. Each piece is lovingly made with the finest materials, just for you.

Absolute scam! So frustrated that I did not check that this was a legitimate company before I purchased. They are selling absolute plastic garbage on a sweet lady retiring after years of making handmade leather bags! So wrong! I'm embarrassed to even take it to Goodwill! I wouldn't even give it a 1 star if I could!

Would give this company 0 stars if possible. Chinese scam, plastic, not leather, although leather bags are pictured in the ads.Posts on FB all the time with what seems to AI generated pictures of "Grace", fake positive reviews and fake TrustPilof ratings. FB refuses to do anything despite multiple complaints.

I purchased a bag, for a very inflated price of $86.00 in total and then found AliExpress had the identical bag for $24.44, I am sure they wouldn't be selling it at such a great loss. I emailed Grace Bags with my receipt and the AliExpress advertisement and not one single word of reply. Do not deal with this company they are scammers.

"GRACE" is the biggest liar ever. The website shows a smiling grey haired old lady in her leather shop who is "selecting the perfect piece of leather to the final stitch" with her "own two hands" (quoted from HER website).
These CHEAP bags come directly from China. They are SO garbage. And like other reviews, you can't return without paying lots of money. Save your $ and buy a "GRACE" purse from the dollar store.

I thought it was going to be real leather but it's vinyl. Definitely from China 100%. I can't believe I got ripped off. I emailed them but no response. Not sure what to do at this point. Please do not purchase from them it's a fake site, poor quality bags and fake reviews

If I could give this fraudulent company a ZERO I would. They are NOT selling genuine leather bags! Each bag I purchased was listed as high quality genuine leather. EVERY bag I received is some type of cheap flimsy fabric. This company should be shut down. Misleading and dishonest. DO NOT buy from them!

I fell for this story and purchased. The bags arrived but were not genuine leather, but pvleather. The bags did not meet the description - no metallic button closure, external pockets were too narrow to accommodate modern smart phone etc. I complained and asked for refund. The address to return to was based in China and not Netherlands as on their website. They were polite and insistent for me to keep the bags and except 30% discount. I persevered and discount was increased. My complaint was that andvert had been misleading annd if truthful I would not have purchased. Escalated through PayPal who managed to get the full amount refunded.
If you want a reasonable looking PV leather bag go ahead but you will find cheaper priced ones for the same product.

I bought two bags supposedly on a going out of business sale. There was a big spiel about how they were hand crafted with the finest leather. It is gargantuan lie. These are cheap pos made in china. They are not made of the finest leather. They are either PU or made of thin splits. It is a complete ripoff.

We'll Grace had the time to respond to my bad reviw. I have responded to her. She is such a sweet busy woman. How she looks that good at her age? Maintaining residences in China, and the Netherlands has got to have taken a toll on the old gal.

Total scam bags aren't made by the sweet lady on the website these bags are cheap vinyl with a really bad Oder I wouldn't even let my dog play with it I notified the company for a return through support email and they told me to keep the bag and they would refund me 20% I paid 59.95 and they want to give me 11.99 what a scam they said it would cost me to much to return guess its out of the country even though the label has a California address I will be notifying PayPal about this scam

They advertise real leather bags. What I received was faux leather and cheaply made. When I contacted the company I was offered a 40% refund and could keep the bags. I ask for a full refund and was given instructions on how to mail them back. Today I took the 4 bags to the post office and had to pay $71.00 to ship them back. DO NOT buy these bags. They are completely trash.

I ordered a couple items, one for my mom for Christmas. It wasn't going to be suitable, so naturally I thought I would simply return them because, as a customer, my satisfaction is of upmost importance. 😂😂
1) good luck getting ahold of anyone, ever.
2) disregard the lovely heartwarming story where she creates them by hand.
3) apparently it needs to go back to Asia somewhere, but where🤷🏼‍
4) you are supposed to return to the store it came from 😂🥊, which….ummmmm, is where exactly?
5) there plants are in Jamaica 🤷🏼‍😂

Bag is certainly NOT hand made and is NOT leather but a cheap and smelly vinyl. It is disgraceful that products are falsely described and leaves the purchaser extremely disappointed and scammed. Shame on the Grace's bags owners - you shouldn't be in business. You are the most dishonest business I have ever dealt with.

This company poses as a woman-owned business making high quality leather bags. Right now, the scam is that they are going out of business so need to dramatically drop their prices.

Their photos are of lovely bags which look like real leather, & of the beautiful, mature women who supposedly produce each bag. I not only ordered one which looked perfect, I was stupid enough to pay them a $10 "tip", feeling sorry to see a woman-owned business go under.

I started getting sales pitch emails immediately, several a day; my bag took 2 weeks longer to arrive than promised. When it arrived, it was a cheap fake, not even a good imitation of leather, & nothing like the bag I had ordered.

I had fallen for their "satisfaction guarantee", but, as others have found, that is a load of BS. They say you have to pay to return your item to their "fulfillment center in Asia", where it will be "inspected" before they decide whether or not to offer you a refund. This means that in addition to getting a crappy imitation for a premium price, you could pay another $42 to return the item & end up with no refund & no bag.

I immediately emailed both their Customer Service & "Grace's personal" email to express my dissatisfaction, & never heard back. Except for more sales pitches; today they offered a $10 off coupon.
Maybe this was once a company which produced the quality items they show, but if so, they must have sold out to an Asian company which takes advantage of their name. Sad & infuriating.

Please do not purchase from this company. I was drawn into tthis sham of a company with its story of Grace and her hardwork building up a business crafting beautiful bags. I am not easily scammed or fooled and consider myself to be a absolute fool to be duped in this way. They would not let me cancel and said shipment already in process. I have not recieved these purchases yet (2 bags,) but looking at Trust Pilot (the real one) and this site sitejabber I am not holding out much hope. I am pursuing this through PayPal.
Another point of interest is that on Facebook today this popup advert came up same old sob story but this time they go under the banner of Mabel-Bags. I wanted to give zero rating unfortunately this was not allowed.

Vinyl crap.
Bags look really nice on the pictures on the homepage. Real product has very low quality and is not leather. Vendor doesn't want to return money.

All of these bags are desctibed/ matketed as "high quality hand crafted leather". I stupidly ordered 3, one for myseld, 2 for gifts. They are all synthetic crappy plastic, with overwhelming chemical smell.

Pleather is not what I was expecting albeit now I know what PVC is. Then I get a 15% refund if I accept it within 24 hours - what a way to get me to keep writing about this scamming nonsense!
It makes me mad that I fell for this nonsense!
