I am happy with this service per se. What I am NOT happy about is constantly ordering food that is showing in stock online when I order it and then it's "out of stock" when it comes time to deliver my order. They need to start "harvesting" these items when the orders are made, not 12 hours later when enough opportunities have occurred in store for the product to become sold out. I had an order today with about a dozen items on it and 5 of them are now "out of stock" for delivery when they were certainly "in stock" when I ******* ordered them. Despite my colossal annoyance at this ongoing problem I still think it is well worth the cost to not have to go out and get this stuff myself.
Every time i order something they dont have one of the items. If they don't have it in stock then there should be sold out so i am not wasting my time ordering and paying for delivery. I could have gone elsewhere.
Placed order for 9 to 10 time slot January 6,2022. Waited all day for arrival. Called to a real person. Didn't really understand what he was saying but said Walmart substituted items but would arrive still that day. Talked to Chat Walmart who told me it was cancelled.
They said driver came here but no one answered. I was here all day. No one called so groceries returned. Nothing in tracking saying this.
Called next day and even talked to Supervisor. Walmart said you got a refund. Does that make it okay with the stress I was put through. No, not at all. Why do they come on and have a special line for seniors and disabled and as soon as they get the payment... not helpful.
Have used Walmart delivery for a few years, but whatever changed at Walmart has left their delivery service in a wreck. Like most others My last few orders have not arrived or has been delayed for an indefinite period of time. Customer service says all the right things but they don't deliver or follow through. Said they didn't have enough drivers, but after waiting I used Instacart from Publix an received my order in two hours. So Publix can find drivers but Walmart can't? Publix and Instacart are more pricey, but at least they get the job done. Time to switch to Kroger or Amazon
Do not do it, they are the worst, unreliable, and some of the drivers, let's just say they are less than competent. I have had orders not delivered that were marked as delivered, received produce that was not fit to eat, had my money held up for days while waiting for a refund. They are a large corporation that in my opinion, that doesn't give a hoot about whether your weekly grocery money is languishing somewhere. Guess it is let them eat cake as far as they are concerned.
I had been using Walmart delivery since it was introduced. But twice now, they have put my account in the hole.
They used to just take the amount owed from the hold amount. But now, they are billing before the hold is released, and it will overdraw you if you don't make sure you keep an equal amount in your account. I just paid bills, thinking that when they did this at Thanksgiving, it was just a glitch or something.
Now, I am slightly overdrawn. It is Saturday and they have informed me that the hold has to expire naturally between Monday and Thursday. This is no way to do business.
Ordered a delivery on Thursday. Friday was booked so a delivery for Saturday was the option. Come Sunday night still no delivery. Called both the store then the Hotline. Reply was "waiting for another driver to be assigned it may be another 23 hours and 17 minutes." Just laughed at such a ridiculous reply and wanted my money back. Walmart delivery gets Two Thumbs Down!
I tried to give them a second chance, but let down again. I'm done.
I place my orders hours in advance. We go past the delivery time, it never updates. I used the chat and was assured it was still coming until they tell me the store closed, which wasn't true. I know ‘fool me once"
Safeway and Target have never let me down
The Walmart+ app itself was not the best experience for me. I could never get the discount gas because the app could never connect to a pump and it's only usable through the app which sucks because I actually AM a delivery driver (that app is also faulty, was forced to deliver for free for 3 hours). Now my vehicle is out of commission so getting items delivered would be my best option but that is also a bust. My delivery driver made it to my house, placed my order into my house, and after almost 10 minutes of trying, she had to take the order back to the store because again, the faulty apps, I still got charged for delivery. And the best part… I have to wait up to 10 days to even get the hold released from my bank, need that money readily since I now have no transportation. It was NOT worth it to me, I now see why spark drivers have so many complaints.
I'm always charged for forgotten items. I'm ALWAYS given bad / rotten produce. Anyone who gets delivery just gets all the leftover produce the employees don't wanna throw away.
Brown garlic.
Mushy bell peppers.
Bruised apples.
Answer: Non existent. You get a refund - no redelivery when they screw up. Worthless.
Answer: No one wants to work. Unless you tip well they won't take delivery
Answer: Two wrong addresses in one day with picture proof in tracking that it wasn't even my address number
Answer: Exactly. That was my issue as well. It's very annoying and not very good customer service.
