Recently this company has been horrible to deal with. I have had two returns not credited to my account. Both times I had to call to initiate a return payment and told that "human error happens sometimes." I have had orders cancelled even though the item is still listed for sale on their website as well. It is almost impossible to speak to someone... everything is done through email... which is usually dealing with someone who is snippy in their replies. I won't be ordering from them again!
So I decided to use this site because I was need of a flat iron, and my sister had gotten a great iron from this site for $40. I decided to give it a try! I guess you could call this site "legit." Anyways I was so irritated with how long my order took. They only shipped my order 2 and a half weeks after I placed the order. I contacted the staff to see what was taking so long. And I got an email saying they would respond back to me within 24 hours (and they did). Except that the response was from a machine that apologized that no staff members were currently available. So finally someone contacted me two days later telling me that he couldn't do anything to speed up my order and that he was sorry. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. I definitely will not be returning to this site or recommending it to anyone. Good luck with it if you should choose to visit it!
Two of my last few orders - received wrong merchandise. Ideeli does not have a telephone number on their site, you need to Google for it. Then try getting through to a human -- impossible. Had to contact my credit card company to dispute the charge and make sure I was not charged their exorbitant return shipping fees as this was their mistake. Learned from my credit card company that Ideeli never bothered to refund me for the last item I returned and had I not had a new problem, I probably wouldn't have realized it. Also placed an order with them several months ago that remained an open order waiting for them to receive the merchandise. They never once contacted me to tell me there was a delay and ultimately they closed the order without even letting me know. The only reason I got a response from anyone at Ideeli is because I posted on their Facebook page and I was among many with issues. I have removed myself from their mailing list. Their quality control is horrible and customer service horrific.

The best way to reach our customer service is through Live Chat or via email. Once you reach out, you'll be send a return label for a full refund back to form of payment and the return shipping fee is always waived for anything that is received incorrectly. If an agent sent you the return label then you wouldn't be charged for the return shipping since it's always waived for wrong items. If you have any returns that are unprocessed our team is always willing to check with the return team at our fulfillment if there was a delay in issuing your refund.
When an order is very delayed you should be contacted about it and we're very sorry if you didn't receive any correspondence. After it was canceled you should have gotten an email with that information as well as a voucher to apologize for the issue. There may have been a glitch in the system that didn't send these emails and I apologize for that.
The reason that no phone number is listed on our site is because we don't have a traditional call center. All of our agents answer Live Chats and emails but only our best and most experienced agents handle phone calls. Having our customer service work this way keeps our costs low and we pass those saving along to our members through the low prices on our site. I have shopped from Ideeli in the past and had a decent experience. However, I recently order 2 suits from Ideeli. One suit was shipped with the jacket only - no skirt. There is no phone # to be found on the website or the web in general. I went onto their chat 4 times and was told I was #1 in the queue but no one ever responds. I sent 2 emails from 2 different email accounts. They did respond to the gmail account and I was told they would look into it and get back to me by 8:00 the next day. Still waiting to get a reply. They have the absolute worst customer service. I can only hope to cancel my credit card charge since they don't seem to care about fixing a problem.

Coupons are good, but NEVER buy a product from GROUPON. I have this watch I could have ordered through Amazon, but I wanted to save money. Ordered through Groupon to save $10. HUGE mistake. It took 3 weeks, wrong product came and now I am having the most difficult time trying to get the return processed as their web page is not working for processing returns. After the 4th email they finally gave me a phone number, but is is only good 8-5. Oh yeah and it could be 30 days for my refund! That is totally awful to say the least, but then I will never order a product from them again. WORST Ever online shopping experience - obviously the coupon people can not deliver the product. They said oh it is limited supply - but 3 weeks to get something that was paid for on the date of the order? Now I have to wait another month to get the money back? Save your time - shop elsewhere.
I have been ideeli customer for a long time but recently I had a lot of problem with this company. HORRIBLE customer service and they messed up a few orders sending me the wrong items or used items. I have never got response form the customer service even they promised to get back to me on the next day. Also, there is always problem with the return process. They cant find item or process partially. So, I need to contact them every time and ask to resolve the problem and waiting for their respionse for ever. You need to watch to make sure that you get your refund back!

As one of the Groupon coupons said, pay 50 dollars and save 100 dollars on window tint, ended up driving almost 100 miles and the company still made me pay almost full price for the tint "not accepting" the coupon. It's not worth your time and money folks.
Great website. Love the concept and got me and the hubby a meal for 2 at an exclusive restaurant in Hackney. Looking forward to it!
Especially during these difficult times. I think Groupon will prosper as more and more people are looking for deals and making savings.
I have been ordering from ideeli for over 3 years and just over a year ago my orders have started to get mixed up or items missing from the order. I placed two different orders within the last month and both have been really messed up. The first order was missing a dress and the second order for two pair of shoes came with one pair and a purse in a shoe box.
Each time that I contact their customer service I receive the same response. The item is no longer available and we will give you a store credit of $25. When I shop, I shop for items that will compliment other items I already own. It really angers me when I'm expecting an item and I don't get it. I did my part, but ideeli has issues with providing follow through.
Unfortunately, I have referred friends and coworkers to this site. I can view those invitations and warn others of how careless this company is with providing correct orders to customers but they always get their money and offer store credit.
Be warned! Any company that does NOT provide a phone number for customer service or calls you from a blocked number is definitely trying to hide something!

If you ever receive a wrong item that was picked incorrectly at our new fulfillment center or that was mislabeled, the customer service team will always provide you with a return label for a refund back to form of payment. Should the item you ordered be available and we can confirm isn't mislabeled, since we don't want you to receive the same wrong thing for a second time, we will send you a link to place a new order. If an item is sold out we will add you to the top of the wait list for it and make sure to issue a full refund back to form of payment for the item you received once it is sent back. Many times the agents will also offer a courtesy voucher to apologize for the inconvenience that is caused by something like this happening, which is the $25 voucher you were mentioning.

I purchased a Groupon for $79 and went to the company's website to use my Groupon. The item was on sale for $50! Groupon refused to cancel my order and refund my money. I contacted the company who had the product. They informed me that they had told Groupon about the sale and Groupon refused to make any adjustments. WOW GROUPON! Hope you enjoy that whopping $29, and it was worth it. I won't ever trust your website again and hope others see this and won't get ripped off by you too!
I finally stopped shopping from them. Initially, they weren't so bad but over the past year, every item I have bought from them has been defective. I bought a watch in Dec 2012 that stopped working by March. I recently had the time to take it in, thinking it was the battery to find out it is completely broken and it would cost me more than the price of the watch to get it fixed. Every single item I've bought from them has ended up falling apart in no time -- a complete waste of money.

Horrible customer service. They sent me the item in the wrong color, and even though they still have the item in the right color, they are not willing to put it aside for me, until the return reaches them, even though they can run out of it.

Once the wrong item is returned we issue a full refund back to form of payment. In this case we do have the item in stock and, due to the nature of our site being flash sales, customer service is able to make it available for purchase due to a private link. Since we keep very little inventory any items in stock can go into a new flash sale which is why the agent you worked with sent you the link to re-purchase the item now. If you purchase the item at the same time you are sending back the incorrect item then you can receive it and we'll refund the original item once it gets back to us. All items that ship to a member must be reflected in their account which is why the agent asked you to make a new purchase. Cincinnati underground tours does not recognize their coupon.
I had the same experience as other reviewers. I purchased several items that were shown as returnable but when I went to return them, they popped up as non-returnable items. I did contact customer service to ask if I could at least return the items for a store credit which they did. I would have preferred a refund which I didn't ask for as I was worried I would be stuck with the items. I thought there would be a better chance of a store credit than a refund. After reading some of these reviews, I will be following up today to verify that I received my credit. I recently ordered a pair of non-returnable shorts in a brand I am familiar with. I ordered the size I usually wear in that brand but they didn't fit. Since I knew they couldn't be returned, I'm stuck with a $50 pair of shorts (plus $10 for shipping) that I can't wear. Probably won't be ordering from Ideeli again. There are too many other good options.

Two bad experiences.
First experience - I ordered a Valentino handbag that was gorgeous on the website. I received it and it felt and looked like crap. I took it to the Valentino store and they confirmed it was NOT an authentic Valentino bag. I'm not sure how they can get away with selling fake bags when I paid almost $500 for this item.
Second - I should have learned from my first experience, but I bought a jacket and a few other items from them. They lost the package. Somehow they don't require a signature on the package and the package was claimed to be delivered. It was never delivered, as my doorman can vouch for that. They log every package that comes into the building and this package from ideeli never came.
Ideeli seemed like a great website, but unfortunatey I would stay away.

They scam people with the "refer a friend" credit. They say they give you an account credit but their refer-a-friend link doesn't even work.
They do everything in their power to refuse refunds - I guess they figure the am amounts are so small no one will sue them. I will never use them again
I shop on a number of ecommerce sites and the customer service here is the absolute worst, assuming you can even get anyone to respond. They take forever to ship, it's prices are substantially higher that competitors prices for same items and the customer service staff all seem to only know one word and it is "no". I am afraid I have to give up on this site and stick with Gilt, Rue la la, Haute, One Kings Lane and Josh.

I ordered two magazine subscriptions at the end of May and still have not received any information on my package. The fine print said the subscriptions would come in 8-10 weeks and it has been 16 weeks now. When I called customer service, the associate said she would put in an order with the company (subscription company) and that I would hear back in a couple of days. I explained to her that there's no reason I should have to wait a couple of days to get back to me. Then I would have to wait a couple of MORE WEEKS for my subscription to come. Considering I already waited 16 weeks for my order, I was not happy that I needed to wait any longer. I asked if there was a way of speeding up the process and she tried to place blame on me that I should have called earlier about my order.
Groupon DOES NOT do a thorough job with processing packages and they have TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I bought a handbag which was claimed as 100% authentic Valentino bag.
It was Mario Valentino bag. It is worth anywhere from $50 to $100 and I paid almost $500 for it.

Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.
Answer: Yes, report it but using social media is a very effective way to get a companies attention. Spread the word, Groupon does not honor returns!
Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: Well, it's not Ideeli anymore... it's been Ideel for about a year now I think. Yes, there is a customer support phone number. I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.

From time to time returns can be delayed if there is a higher than normal volume.
The reasons an order or item can be canceled, even though you may see the same item for sale at a later date, is because of an inventory issue with what was received from the manufacturer. Part of the reason we can offer such reasonable prices is because we don’t keep any inventory. Instead, we work directly with the manufacturers, who ship to us, and then we ship to you. Sometimes the manufacturer's don't provide the promised amount or they send items that are found to be damaged. You should always be placed on the wait list for this item so that if it does become available from that sale you'll be given a change to order it again. If you ever see anything in a new sale that you had previously ordered it's possible that the vendor offered us more of that item or it could be placed into the sale as an error and I'd ask you to reach out to customer service so we can find out why this item was in a sale and you weren't notified through the wait list.
