For exactly 120 for a couples massage was not reflected on my account. I contacted groupon and gave them the order number in question as well as screenshots of my confirmation email. Instead of inquiring on the issue they refunded a second groupon voucher I bought for a movie ticket in the amount of 26.45 when I paid 29.45 and skipped out on paying my 3 additional dollars. When I contacted them a third time, my email was blocked. I would have been fine calling and explain this issue but there is no customer service number. Beware of the bs. Groupon is sketchy.
We were so excited my husband was given this as a birthday gift…. The extra expenses have been ridiculous… extra $100 each to fly out from Brisbane… extra costs to sit together on flight… car hire for 3 days cause a very basic motel is not near city, beach, etc…. We were not honoured any of our three Friday and Saturday night options… had to fly out on a Thursday… taking away our income (haven't even gone and down $1060)… gosh I hope our bottom of the peeking order destination is worth it!

I purchased an escape room experience but could not use the voucher as I could never contact them to book and the web site never had any booking slots. Groupon are so unhelpful just keeps repeating I can have a voucher. I want a refund. Customer service is appalling vouchers are not worth having
I went o to Las Vegas and paid for a burlesque show. The show was cancelled and I did not get a notification. When asking the venue for a refund, they said I needed to contact Groupon who sold the ticket. Upon contact, they refused to refund me for 1. Not cancelling the payment within 24 hours of purchasing (because I can foresee the future) and 2. They told me to read the fine print. I did and it said nothing about refunding a cancelled show except they will notify the buyer of the cancellation. Which they did not.
They are still refusing to refund me my money.
I purchased tickets to the Field Museum in January 2023 from Groupon. I selected the All Access pass from the drop-down menu, which their site says includes general admission plus exhibits and a 3D movie. I received the Basic Admission pass when they delivered the actual tickets; however I paid the price of the All Access pass for those tickets. The only way to communicate with their customer service team is via live chat or email. After days of going back and forth, they refuse to acknowledge any of the screenshots of what their site promises vs what they delivered. They simply say I purchased the Basic Admission, which I clearly did not based on the choices on their site. You cannot talk to a real person, the don't acknowledge any evidence you provide, and they just tell you all sales are final. I would never do business with them again after this experience. A complete bait and switch scam with no customer service.
I bought a Brio luggage set through Groupon.com in April, 2017 and during my first trip in June, 2017 the handle of the luggage broke. Groupon sent me to deal with Brio. Brio would not accept return nor store credit and offer to send the replacement handle (same flimsy handle) which I have to install it myself. I went back to Groupon requesting help for store credit and was denied with the explanation that they only have 14 days return policy although the item was broken. Groupon supervisor, Trevor, insisted that there is nothing they could do and told me that Brio replacement part is fair. He offered $20 Groupon credit as if that would resolve my problem. I declined the coupon and would not purchase physical items from Groupon again.
After buying a groupon for a dog collar I noticed it was not working. I contacted groupon and the company. Both are telling me its not their problem. Groupon has now informed me they will not refund the money even though they know the code isnt working. Save your money and just order from the company itself. Bad customer service
After purchasing a Groupon, scheduling an appointment through their link and confirming through text messages they sent to me (2x). I was told "tough luck". Now the very cryptic request on how to obtain a refund. Has finally replied stating that they have "escalated it" and I'll hear back in a week. So to sum it up…. They have no problem stealing your money and wasting your time and gas…. And I'm left at the mercy of them "investigating" to see if I'm eligible for a refund. DO NOT BUY! They have zero idea nor care on keeping a consumer happy…… pic shows they kept confirming and then when o showed they say "sorry we tried to call… see if Groupon will refund you but we can't"
Very disappointed, purchased the services, then don't need it anymore, no refund, no exchange even not allowed to trade in for something else.
They recently changed the return policy without inform customers, all sales are final

More times than not have I been left holding a Groupon which is worthless since the company doesn't honor them, is unavailable or simply gone out of business. Well, I have learned my lesson... I am not going to do it again no matter how good the deal. As your Mother always said "You get what you pay for"
Bought a Groupon as a gift. Business closed a month later. Told Groupon what had happened, needed 15 emails sent to get satisfaction. Replies from 6 different reps, no supervisors. Often repeating my last email.
3 weeks later (!) refund finally issued: "refund either to your form payment or in Groupon bucks". Next day, message from Groupon: "good news, your refund has been processed. Your Groupon bucks are available to be spent immediately."
My face =: o?
Angry email sent asap.
Incredible breach of trust. Done with Groupon.
Lessons provided by Groupon on how to lose a customer in twenty days:
- do not respond to polite emails with confirmation of taking care of issue (or any confirmation at all).
- force customer to repeat themselves continuously.
- allow multiple reps to inadequately handle the account.
- breach customer account privacy and security to make refund decision for them.
Completely and utterly unacceptable treatment.

The deals aren't that good. The service is terrible.
You show no consideration to your loyal customer whom have been with you since the beginning. Groupon and Ideel are like oil and vinegar - it doesn't mix. Those hooker dresses, cheap shoes.

I had thought that I was the only one having problems with Groupon, but after reading other reviews, I can see that I am not. Quirky website resulted in multiples of my order. Attempts to rectify the problem have been in vain, and now all phone contact has been cut off. I would strongly suggest that others go elsewhere for their buying. Rest assured I will stay away from here if I ever get my money back. Credit card was hit on day of purchase over three months ago.
Groupon customer service sucks big time, they will always deflect issues to merchants or delivery agents. Even when a request to cancel an order within 5 min of ordering when I found that I need to pay for delivery charges, they claim it cannot be done.
There are some good deals but buy at own risk and you can forget about getting any decent service from them.
DO NOT waste your money. FTD delivery fees are 22.50 alone. Groupon cost $15.00 for $30.00. Worth. Limited time 2 weeks to use took more than 1 day for same day delivery florist who picked up order was miles away in next town. There were 3 florists within a mile of hospital. Would have been better with in house hospital florist shop
Hmmm... was just about to place my 1st order, but thought I'd check reviews first. Doesn't look good... I've considered that most bad experiences are posted, and everyone has their own opinion. What got me is the response to these reviews have come MONTHS later! Poor reflection of customer service, and an inferior company who needs to establish better social media performance. Groupon stopped taking phone calls, but their online chat people are morons. They put a coupon out for ticketmaster that it won't accept, then have no idea what I am talking about. Wondering if "Ben" is a computer or just an idiot. Last time using that site!
Offer services and dont provide services that they sell you. The story is way too long but I promise to never do business with this company again. I recommend staying away from these thieves altogether.
I'm amazed at how frequently I find deals for the things I want to do through Groupon! If there is a show or event in town that interests us, we always check Groupon first, and have saved a good chunk of change already this year! :)
I purchased a Groupon for LegacyBox 2 hours ago. $125 groupon for $39. At checkout my groupon wasn't accepted. I could have saved 1/2 by using LegacyBox's Black Friday $8 per tape offer. Even the shipping was deeply discounted
Also, groupon does not make it easy to leave a review on their site - wonder why? And customer service took me into the same rabbit hole. Disgusted!

Groupon charges advertisers so much that in the end it's not worth it. Customers buying certificates pay up front only to find out offer is very limited or has expired. I would avoid Groupon and look for other savings from local vendors.
I had about $80 worth of credit on my Ideeli account which has now disappeared. I think everyone here having similar issues we should all become one voice and go after these people legally. Like filing an action lawsuit for stealing people's money. This is absurd.
Wow. The negative comments are shocking to me. I've been a loyal customer since the beginning. I have never had any problems with items or service. I once did not receive an item. I told them and was immediately credited for it. All my purchases were in excellent condition and of very high quality. Maggie London, Desigual, Casual Couture, Hale Bob, Joyous & Free and Sue Wong are just some labels I like and have bought from here. I'm a savvy shopper and can see if the garment is made well. I also care about fabric and look at the photos very well for indications of craftsmanship. Ideeli sells high/medium/lower quality items, as does any company. I get so many compliments on my wardrobe and 75% of my wardrobe is from ideeli. I loathe shopping in stores so ideeli and amazon are my go-to shops.

Was told that I would not be given a refund after the company closed down! Apparently, it was my fault this shady company didn't answer phone calls or respond to emails. Then a girlfriend of an employee finally emailed us and said they were closing until further notice (in her extremely broken English). Groupon claims this is non refundable. Good job Groupon! Good use of common sense!
I like ideeli. The items are always sent out on time and the dates of shipment are clearly listed when ordering. Yes, sometimes orders take weeks but you can't complain because the dates of shipment for each item are listed under the price. It is up to the buyer if they want to wait that long. Ive found some great deals and some good quality pieces, everything has arrived new and in nice red wrapping paper. I had a few issues which were easily resolved by talking to a customer service rep. They're $9.95 monthly shipping charge is very fair if your a frequent shopper, however I wish they offered 2 shipping options, a one time $5.95 or monthly 9.95---that would be awesome! Also, sometimes they advertise red sales but the items I recognize from earlier in the month and at the same full price, I find this deceptive. But I do realize ideeli needs to make $, just dont advertise it as a red or closeout price when it is not.

Ideel charged my credit card for an order that was not even shipped. I've complained at least four time and all I get is a run-around.
Unresponsive customer service.
Do NOT buy from ideel.com. Go to Gilt instead. Or Piperlime.
