I wouldn't even give them a star. They are terrible scammers. I ordered a ring from them, and they gave me a completely different ring. When I sent them an email, it took them a long time to get back to me, and when they did, they pretty much apologized saying I just viewed it differently, and that it was what was advertised. And so I spoke to another person. This person told me that they weren't offering exchanges at the time. Uhhmm it shouldn't be an exchange it was most definitely not my fault. They sent me the wrong purchase. The first picture is the ring I got, the second is the ring I thought I purchased. I refuse to pay shipping on this when I didn't order this crappy ring. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and now I'm still waiting for an answer. Ridiculous.
It was a very horrible experience. And I will not recommend it. Under construction, all over paint smell. Bathrooms are not well organized. Doors are not working.

I've only used groupon for three months and I can say I for sure hate it!
I got a subscription, it looked like it had pretty good benefits, but seeing that I didn't get to use Groupon that much because some of the deals didn't work with the days that I was available I tried to end it. First of all, it's very odd that it takes lots of research just to end your subscription and once you think it's gone, it's not. They charged me again for another month so I contacted customer service and after I gave one man named Stewart my information so he could solve the issue he ended the conversation which was very sketchy! So I contact another person who was very helpful and ended my subscription hopefully for good now, but I have been told that I am not going to get any of my money refunded for the months that I haven't used it and that I was not okay with them charging me because I thought I already ended it! I just want to get rid of this app but it won't refund me $30 that is just sitting in the account! Make sure you're committed to whatever you're buying in there because you will never get the money back even if you end up not being able to go!
I have had nothing but hassle from this site. I have lost £150 from Groupon through buying a a watch which did not work and was unable to return or to get them to answer the phone or email. STAY AWAY YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
There are a few good local deal, but be careful. Some deals actually cost you money. For instance, a local massage therapy package for $40 for a massage therapist that normally charges $80, only if you check another competitor, he charges $50 for the same $80 massage and does half hour massages for $25, which is all most people need, so by doing your homework, you save $15 by not using Groupon.
Another instance is a GoPro camera for $399. You can buy the same camera and set up on eBay for $389 brand new.
Many of the "deals" aren't deals because you find that the $30 flower arrangement certificate going for $18 buys you relatively nothing and the flowers you really want cost $150, so you are spending $120 of your own money on them with the $30 off you bought for $18!
In short, that bargain may cost you dearly and limits you as to where you can purchase or redeem the certificate.
There are a few good deals, but check out the manufacturers direct and check Amazon and eBay first because you might find cheaper deals there that save you money and give you greater options and choices.

I live in NJ. NJ does not charge tax on clothes. I purchased clothes from ideeli, shipping to NJ. No taxes should be charged. I was charged for taxes. I had "live chat" conversation with a customer service rep. First, she just said they charge taxes in NJ. Um, well, that's not OK. When i persisted and asked why, she had no explanation, but offered me a $10 credit to shut me up. All good and well, i'll take the $10 credit, but why are you charging me tax on exempt items and are you going to continue to charge taxes, particularly when i go to redeem my credit? Her answer was to ignore my first question and pretty much confirm that they will continue to charge taxes on clothes to NJ shoppers, including myself. She told me my only recourse was to basically complain every time it happens. At least, she was honest. Sure enough, when i went to redeem my credits, i was charged taxes. I will now go to complain.
Moral of the story: if you live in a state that does not charge taxes or does not charge taxes on particular items and you make a purchase at ideeli, pay attention to your invoice to see if you were charge taxes. If you were charged taxes, complain until they give you a credit. Otherwise, you can wait until down the line there is a class action lawsuit and get some minute fraction of a huge settlement. #shrug
I've subscribed to the ideel email list for a while but until last week, had never bought anything from them. They had a sale for an item I was excited about, so I bought 3 of them. Everything appeared to be processed and I was looking forward to receiving my shipment. A few days later, I received a sketchy voicemail message (honestly, the girl was nearly unintelligible) from their "loss prevention" department, asking me to call them back to verify their order. I called 4 separate times that afternoon (it was a weekday) and no one ever bothered to pick up the phone. I wanted to speak with an actual person instead of just playing phone tag, so I declined to leave a voicemail (I was also driving and didn't have my order information in front of me). I thought they would contact me again. The next day, I received another voicemail message saying my order was cancelled and an email to the same effect. So I emailed their customer support asking them to process the order, and they said it was my fault for not listening to their voicemail instructions, and that the order could not be completed. With so many shopping options these days, I'm floored that they would treat customers that way!
NEVER EVER use this company! I ordered products nearly 3 weeks ago, they billed my credit card twice and duplicated the order. It STILL has not shipped and then they tell me that I can't do anything about getting a credit to my account until I receive the duplicate, then I can return it and then they have 30 days to credit my account, for their mistake.
I am not too fond of Groupon. Usually the things they offer are way overpriced anyway and with the Groupon you aren't really getting a deal... just a more competitive price.

I was thinking about ordering a couple of ASUS Google Nexus 7 thru this company but after reading the reviews you can't get customer service to answer 50to 60 min wait time unacceptable/ item say they were delivered by tracking # and they weren't by the customers HUMMMMMM! I used to be a fan of Ideal and a regular purchaser but I have been very disappointed lately. I had immediately returned an item because the size was wrong and had to chase after the company with multiple inquiries to get my credit posted for the returned item. Then when I used the credit to purchase another item I received a confirmation that it would ship within a week. Well, I waited 3 weeks and still hadn't received anything. When I checked the order on the website there was a note that it was "closed or cancelled" although I had not received any communication from Ideel. I wrote to them and although I received an auto-response indicating they usually respond within 4 hours, it took 3 days for them to respond and all they said was that the item had not been received by their vendor. No indication of when it might arrive, if there would be an update, or what... In general, customer service has gone way down hill in recent months and I know from experience that there are much more efficient sites out there to deal with.
I order a Bluetooth headset that supposed to came which two and also supposed to have had charger extra ear plugs and the instructions when I got the box the only thing was and it was a bluetooth nothin else I am so disappointed I want my money back and I would never ever use Groupon again they suck
The copy writing of the daily groupon offer makes my SKIN CRAWL. Who writes like this? It's so overdone and obnoxiously proud of itself, that often I don't even read to the end or see if it's a deal I'd like to participate in; it's THAT BAD.

I bought a £25 voucher for a full valet from a sham company called SnR detailing off Groupon. Redeemed the Voucher. The day I booked to take the car in for a wash, the company messaged me from mobile *******4341 saying that their equipment had a major failure as a result they won't be able to carry out the service. There was no mentioning of repaying me my money. I called the number several times and the company would not answer nor respond to my messages. I went to Groupon and to my surprise groupon also refused to refund me my money, insisting that I should be dealing directly with the merchandise. Guys never use Groupon, if you need a service they provide please use wowcher instead.
First of all you cannot book online you have to send a email with all your details and they confirm the booking. They give the impression you park at the airport and tells you so by giving the postcode B26 3QJ when after booking they tell you the park is 10.6 miles away at Washwood Heath, Birmingham B8 2SQ. And the booking is through icanparkandride.com and not Drivefly.co.uk. The feedback for I can park and ride is very very poor.
Ordered Beats by Dr Dre Nov 18 for Christmas gift. Groupon was proud to advertise they sold over 10K of these! Well, as of today, 1/6/2014, still no Beats. I have a tracking number from UPS that says only that the printing/shipping label was created but the manuf has not shipped package yet. The creation of the shipping label was created to play a game with the order fulfillment status! I called Groupon and their only resolution is to refund my money which I appreciate but I WANT MY BEATS that I was under the expectation of receiving when I purchased. I have used Groupon for out of country travel as well as for restaurant dining and have always had great experiences so I am disappointed that Groupon is working with a shady vendor on the Beats.
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: Well, it's not Ideeli anymore... it's been Ideel for about a year now I think. Yes, there is a customer support phone number. I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
