I'm annoyed with Ideeli

I'm annoyed with Ideeli. Their return policy isn't very good - if you don't like something then usually you just get ideeli credit. I ordered two Calvin Dresses on there and it took a while to get them, and then one didn't fit. Of course, I got an excellent deal on it and it was unreturnable. That's disappointing.

And, I just ordered three toys for my nephews birthday (two weeks in advance!) and they aren't going to be shipped until October 6th! That is 5 entire days after his second birthday party. Great, now who looks like the bad Aunt just because she wanted to save some cash on Melissa and Doug stuff.

Anyway, I think I'm done with Ideeli for a while. I'm just not impressed with the savings I get for the amount of hassle it is to actually receive my packages.

We try to make the ideeli experience as convenient as possible by listing the return policy, as well as the estimated shipping window on each individual sale page. Please know that we ship your orders as soon as we receive them from the manufacturer. They ship to us, and then we ship to you within the estimated shipping window we provide. Your order is, in fact, scheduled to ship between October 6-October 13.

I've only used them a few times and each time there was a problem. You only get so many tries and if you can't provide good service you are out.

Two of the problems resulted in a refund which took months and many calls to actually receive. Both were b'day presents that i then had to go make other plans for.

Your company is crap and i wouldn't continue shopping/eating anywhere else that couldn't do what it said. Good riddance.

This is the first time I've ever felt compelled to join one of these groups. With that in mind stay away from IDEELI.COM. Even their own cs representatives expressed disdain with how the company handles itself. Documentation doesn't help and the truth is manipulated to fit their needs. BUYER BEWARE.

Is groupon related to nomore rack? They have the same customer service as nomore rack. They do not will not resolve issues! Go to restaurant.com for dining deals. They have better deals and honor what they advertise... unlike groupon who pulled a classic bait and switch. They advertised a certain price and then doubled it leaving me holding the bag. They also messed with the deal on their website changing verbiage and the deal. Luckily I snapped a picture of my screens prove my point still no resolution. Very polite responses and absolutely NO answers or resolution. They are a fraudulent company and should be shut down. Look for a name change soon just like nomore rack did. I am gathering info to pass on to Commissionerof Commerce and the Attorney General. I would advise everyone to do the same as a class action we may get some resolution. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. Even the restaurants they "sell for" have nothing good to say about them. They are ripping people off on both ends!

I placed an order through Groupon, and when I received the confirmation email it said to go to "my stuff" to find a voucher to complete my purchase with the vendor. There were no vouchers, now 8 days later. You can't call, because their cs number says they are out of the office due to covid. All I can do is email or live chat. Live chat cs told me that there is a "technical issue" with my voucher and they can't access it. I asked for a refund, to which I was denied. I was then told that someone will be in touch with me within a week. This will be the last time I EVER use Groupon.

Do Not buy!

DO NOT BUY!

I ordered Rattan Furniture £800 worth end of April... missing parts and I have a 11 seater Table and chairs still with no bolts, instructions weeks now calling, emails still no parts... disgusting service!

They should have just said they were closing Ideel since that's what effectively happened. No more Tahari, BCBG, Vinice Camuto and other favorite luxury steals! The Ideel platform with limited quantity and limited time to grab them was unique and felt exclusive. Who wants to see cheap leggings between headphones and a flat iron with "500+ purchased" under it? No thanks.

Looking for - but have not found - something comparable.

GROUPON SCAM
April 14, 2023

On 12/28/2022, my nephew and I bought 4 tickets online for the Hop-On Hop-Off Washington DC bus ride; $156.80 each on 2 different credit cards. The tickets were never available to us within a reasonable time frame, nor they sent us copies of the tickets at a later time. We called their Customer Service and never got an answer. We immediately disputed the charges with our credit cards with no luck. GROUPON never proved that the tickets were made available or used, I tried to resolve the situation without any success, they adduced all kinds of legal jargon like "The Fine Print" on the deal, but yet they never proved anything.

Used it for local restraunts and started purchasing goods from there as well. One of my last purchase was the infrared ear thermometer. It was shipped out and somehow delivery on the website was marked "delivered", but the package never even arrived. I called the post office and all they know is that it supposedly is delivered and told me to call groupon. There is no number for customer service? Also emailed the "contact us" section twice and have not heard back even though they send you automatic email stating they will reply within 24hrs. I am disappointed in the lack of customer service, I feel like I am dealing with Comcast. I will stick to E-bay and Amazon where customer service is always on top of things.
