It takes FORVER to ship ANYTHING so dont plan on having it for a couple weeks to month. But the deals are awesome! Just check out the expiration dates. Awesome deals and anything and everything! I like the site. Just the SLOWEST shipping EVER!
Be very very careful, I have tried using a few of these even gave one as a present(VERY EMBARRASING) Example bought one for window cleaning, they came late then said for a 2100 sq ft home the EXTRA would be $220 total of $309. When they finished I made them reclean the kitchen window that was streaked more after the cleaning than before!
Next time i got someone from thumbtack. Paid $120 and windows were just as good.
Many exclusions especially house size(Only 700 sq ft for $89) for my size house 2100 it was almost $300(you know where that one went) Also many of then charge upwards of $25 if you are outside their area(Their mileage charts appear to be different. They said my chandler home was 18 miles from Tempe.

Great way to try out new businesses and products for half price. Altough groupons have a shelf life (which is more than ample) on the savings, you never lose the face value of your investment.
Although the platform is now renamed as nearbuy but you still get the best deals here. One gets deal across many sections: food, entertainment, trave, spa etc.
This place is horrible. Because I've gotten so many great deals on Groupon, and this company is associated, stupid me thought it would be worthy.
Not so much. I ordered 2 handbags - the 1st shipped immediately and it is nice. A Guess purse. The other - oh em Geeeeee! What a hassle! So much time wasted "chatting" with a "customer" "service" representative and then emails from another "CSR" who flat out LIED TO ME ABOUT THE DAY OF SHIPMENT. Called the CRS number - just a voicemail.
Cancelled my order but have not received CONFIRMATION which I asked for in an email.
Wish I had checked up more on this company's atrocious reputation before I ordered.

I wrote a complaint/ recommendation letter to groupon consumer service awhile back regarding their claims on shipping goods to customers. I can see that they have not change or learned. I was annoyed that it took the retailer longer than 3 weeks to ship out my goods, and another 2 weeks to receive it. My credit card was charge and cleared within the first 2 days of purchase. I suggested that they change their statement on their shipping to better reflect the truth. The site claim that most ( I consider 51% as most) of goods will arrive within 2 1/2 week. They are excluding the other 49% of customers in this statement. I am one of the 49% of individuals that expected the product within their stated time frame and was extremely disappointed with the shipping time frame. The experience left a sour note and I decided to never make anymore goods purchases from groupon since the shipping time frame stated is not reliable. I still once in a blue moon make purchases for restaurants deals, but their policy on refunds makes it an inhibitor to press the checkout button. I still have 2 groupon I paid $50 for that I can't use because I have since moved away from that region... but groupon will not refund it. I guess I will just have to wait until the business close ( 35yr?) before I can get a refund lol.

RATHER THAN USING ONE STANDARD MODEL FOR EVERYTHING, THEY USE THE INFO FROM THE INDIVIDUAL LABEL. INVALUABLE, AS WE ALL KNOW SIZES ARE ALL OVER THE MAP. Abismal company obsessed with the fine print and devioud of any human desion making. I bought two tickets for fusion festival. I didn't realise the advert was for two separate nights. My 10 year old was desperate to see little mix. I ended up with tickets for the wrong night Dizzy Rascal. The customer services wasted a day of my life. Starting with the premium rate telephone operative who pretended she couldn't hear me as an excuse to end the call. 5 live chats each stating someone would e mail me. Nobody did. Eventually at 10pm in the evening I managed to get a supervisor. The reponce was from the same script. I simply wanted to pay the additional money and exchange for the tickets I thought I was buying. The fine print said no. What a disgrace take my advice and groupoff
You charge MONEY from my card twoce for the same transaction. After i try to contact you by pive chat you can't dp refund pr credit bec it was final sale. Crazy
I see so many negative reviews about ideeli.com that I decided to chime in. I only started buying from them late in 2010, so maybe they fixed a lot of their previous problems? The site clearly states return policy (if there is one, you get free shipping back and store credit, which is fine for me) and sometimes items aren't eligible for return, so it states that and you take a risk. I've bought a few things with no return policy, but I was sure that I would like them and/or they would fit. There is also a shipping window listed for each purchase and so far they shipped eiher within the window or much much sooner. I had to make a few returns and never had a problem - try it on, doesn't fit, go to the website, print return label, put back in packaging that the items came in with, drop off at UPS and the next day I get an email saying I have store credit. To minimize wasting $10 on shipping, I really think twice about buying something as the size chart is not always accurate and some clothing runs large. So I've only returned something twice and the rest of the things I got were beautiful and cheap - I got $150 BCBG dresses for $30-40 and I went online to other retailers and found those same dresses for sale for over $100. Just don't buy pants and skirts - they are hard to guess the fit without trying :)

Used Groupon in August for parking in Seattle. Was great and happy with the experience. In October I saw a charge on my debit card from Groupon. I called and was told that my account was expired. I told them they charged me on my debit card... the representative checked and told me there was a charge for the same amount on the same day but not to my account. He told me to call my bank. My bank put us on a 3 way call and that took over 2 hours for Groupon to figure it out. They had merged my account with someone's account in Chicago (I'm in Washington state) and put my bank card on his account. Can't believe they would be so irresponsible to give my financial info to another customer. They were rude on the phone to my bank rep until they figured out what happened. My bank has reimbursed me for the charges. No apology... nothing. I recommend that anyone with a Groupon account cancels as they are obviously careless with your info. I did ask them for the contact info for the person I'm paying for and they refused... until I mentioned an attorney. I am contacting him and will update this. By the way I have never done a review before this.
Up until now I had been happy with groupon but recently I have decided to no longer use their service. I live in Canada and logged into groupon in my local city to buy an oil change coupon. Groupon in their ultimate wisdom decided that I would like to get my oil change 7.5 hours away (that is also in the USA)! When asked how this could happen I was told "In your case, it was a Local Deal that is available particularly in the US" umm yeah so then its not a local deal! And then I was told "As of now, we cannot filter what is featured on the website because we still want our customers to be able to enjoy other deals from other places" and "Kindly check it before making a purchase, Again we apologize for the trouble". So I guess its my fault for not making sure groupon did their job correctly? This is after several emails sent and replies that make no sense at all and simply skate around the problem. Ill be contacting my credit card company about this and have them reverse the payment. Oh and just for everyones amusement (except mine of course) there was also this reply "Of course, even expired Groupons make great gifts, so if you won't be able to use it yourself, feel free to give it to a worthy recipient. You can always give an unused Groupon to a friend unless otherwise specified in that deal's Fine Print". What a joke this company is... pun intended!
I have been using Groupon for over a year. It's a hit and a miss. Lately, more miss! Sometimes the food places are spectacular, unfortunately many times they are equally bad. I will say I have had good luck with beauty salons. My problem is the goods they sell us and their inability/refusal to return or respond to your email. I have sent 6 emails and still have yet to get a real response. Again, sometimes the goods are good. Many times they aren't good they're bad! It's like they buys this stuff from back alleys! They dress it up, Snap a few trick photos, then use false advertising to glorify it!
I don't know where to start: hmmm- with the paper thin glasses that broke when you grabbed them; the shrinking socks; the cheap plastic car flashlight/tool; the chipped-up cracked book stand; the will ruin if you wash pet couch covers; the smelly perfume; or the fake 18k gold jewelry? How about having to wait over a month to get your items? Yes, I am the dip-stick who kept buying. We'll not no more! I can't take it anymore!

Buy at your own risk. Any company that won't accept responsibility for the quality of good that goes out, is not ok with me. Granted... they allow you to send back for a refund in 14 days, but after that you're stuck with it and its annoying to have waited 2 weeks for something, only to get the wrong item and can't EXCHANGE IT but tp lose ot by sending back. What of you really wanted it? What of it was a gift? This is the risk part. HOWEVER, when damaged and can't exchange is one thing, but I have been getting the wrong stuff and that is their fault because they package it. 2 pack drinking container, u get one. They say to send it back for a full refund or I can keep for partial. Really? The person that packed can't count? You would think there is an extra somewhere of its how it comes no? More than likely the person didnt know it was a 2 pack and packed them all like that. Nobody notices all the extra mason jar tumblers? Come on man. I ordered a blue shower curtain, get red. I ordered a green ice cream maker, I get watermelon. I order primer, its expired, dry amd crumbly, no pakage or box. 2 containers. That tells me, they are allowing companies tp sell OLD EXPIRED cosmetics. Not ok! I'm just tired pf it. 2 years worth of goods, thousands of dollars later... I'm done. Be careful and don't expect much should you choose to buy goods.
Joined groupon for a coupon deal on an automobile allignment on a Friday. Arrived Monday to utilize it. After waiting 5 hours, the facility said they would not do work because struts appeared to be leaking and grease on cv joints. Well my mechanic said they should have adjusted toe and camber wihout regard for what they say they saw. Plus, my mech. Replaced those parts 20k miles ago so highly unlikey that there was a problem with them. Facility obviously did not want to do the low price allignment. They just wanted to set up a deal for $1461. 00 worth of work that I don't need. And the topper is: can't get my money back because Groupon has a 3 day return policy that was not noticed at all, at the time I purchased the deal. You find out afterward when you have trouble. Expecting problems redeaming the so-called grouponn bucks that are now on my acount that, I can't seem to see anywhere on my account page. Got screwed by the whole deal. Disgusted beyond belief!
I was looking for ideas for my wedding anniversary, and after looking through GROUPON'S website, i was able to find and book several vouchers. My wife LOVED all the activities planned for the whole weekend, all thanks to GROUPON. It also helped that all the places i went to, had good reviews as well. I definitely recommend this site.
My situation is a bit different. I'm an advertiser. We have promotions for massage and beauty services. We treat the customers like kings and queens. Greet them with courtesy offer beverages. Provide clean, elegant, relaxing environment. Listen attentively to their needs and book them quickly. They are quick to criticize, defensive if we can't get them in the same day. Don't tip the service providers, that work hard and are getting "beans" compared to their normal commissions. They'll book a follow up appointment, then "no show". Even after we send them an auto generated reminder. Groupon promised us, they attract professional people. All we seem to get from them are cheapskates, that are particular, demanding and hop from one business to another. Looking for another discount. The idea is to attract long time clients. Groupon is making a " killing" and we are their slaves. We did a survey of retention. 1-2%. There are only so many hours in a day. So it has been determined it is better to spend 1k a month on advertising & attracting clients on our own vs. taking up valuable time on our books, with useless, penniless trash. We are no longer advertising with them. Lets BOYCOTT!
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!

I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
