Disgusting company no customer service rubbish cant hold anyone, list £110 on a order from mhstar avoid these
Tried to purchase the Costco deal and the order did not go through. Despite using Google Pay the transaction was declined. I got an email asking me to update my card on file. I updated my card on file. The order showed processing for 24 hours so I contacted customer support. I was told they could not do anything because it had to be escalated to the "special Costco group" and I would receive a reply via email. It's been three days and I finally get "I've verified that no charges were processed due to a general card decline. Any charges shown on your card's statement should disappear within 3–5 business days. The Costco Deal is currently unavailable." So groupon screws up AND I don't get the voucher. Crappy customer service whether you are a customer trying to get a voucher or a business trying to offer a deal. Groupon is AWFUL!
I purchased 2 groupons for oil changes. On the Groupon app you can add more than 1 Groupon to your cart. Even though their app allows you to purchase more than 1 Groupon apparently the fine print says only 1 purchase per person. If that is the case they need to reprogram their website to only purchase a single Groupon at one time. Just another way to scam you out of your hard earned dollars. Even though the help section of the Groupon app says you can get a refund there is no place to do that when I log onto the app. So Groupon this is the last you will see of my money. Bye!
I bought 2 tickets to a concert thru Groupon. When I arrived a month later to the concert venue I found that the concert had been cancelled. With Groupon as the middle man I was never informed. So my time, gas, and parking fees were gone. I contacted Groupon to get my tickets refunded and was told there would be no refund but my tickets would be valid for the rescheduled concert. The band's website shows no rescheduled concert for at least the next year. Probably ever. Don't get scammed like I did.
I've been trying to get resolved a purchased Groupon from a merchant that went out of business. The text messaging customer support is useless. I've tried 3 times and once I explain my situation, they no longer communicate with me. One can only assume they have been trained to pretend to care and then ignore the customer. I'm stuck with a purchase I cannot use after giving Groupon my money. Now the Groupon expired and they last told me they couldn't do anything.
I purchased a Groupon deal for Peachy Parking in Atlanta. When I tried to use it, Peachy said we are not taking Groupons. I'm trying to get a refund from Groupon, but they won't answer chat, they have no phone support, & I have not received satisfaction from the email I sent. What a RIPOFF. Stay away from Groupon and Peachy Parking.
I tried to cancel a reservation and Groupon said I couldn't cancel it but the hotel said I was within the time frame to cancel. When I contacted Groupon they said they escalated my case and it would take 7 days to get a response on if I would get a refund or not… They have very shady practices and should be put out of business. They'll do Anything to make a buck… They should realize these negative reviews will indeed put them out of business sooner or later. Never again!
I reserved a parking garage in NYC with Groupon for a family night out. I paid $45 for 8 hours. The place closes at 11:30PM so it was for only 7.5 hours. I thought it was great deal. When I actually got there, I didn't bother to check their posted prices. When I went back to pick up the car after 5 hours I realized i got scammed by Groupon after I already paid with the QR code from Groupon. The posted sign says "upto 10 hours $33.95 plus 18.75% parking tax" That's $40! And Groupon won't let me leave any reviews on their app even though I tried many times. Scammers! I had to find this sute just to leave a review so on one will be scammed by Groupon again. Obviously I will not be using Groupon anytime soon!
I would give Groupon negative stars if I could. I had asked to cancel to cancel my order and was told yesterday that it was canceled and that I would not be charged. I woke up to see that I was not only charged for the origional order but a second one as well! Customer support is a joke. They only have an online chat but as soon as they don't know how to answer a question they become unresponsive.
I used to love Groupon however they have taken a turn for the worst and if something happens with your Groupon like the business is shut down or Groupon issued the Groupon for a different area other than the one you searched then you will not get any customer service! They are strictly live chat which no one responded to me at ALL in their "live chat" so then I emailed my issue and I have gotten a generic email 4 times so far saying they are sorry for taking so long but they will get back to me soon. Absolutely the worst!
Purchased the ticket to a Skyzone, after being treated horrible before even it was our turn to get in, we refused to give them business and decided to return the ticket to get our money back, Groupon customer service refused to refund our money. They apologized for the bad experience, however because of their policy they don't refund the money. Never ever using this website again!
If I could have a negative I would. I had $1000 in deal bucks. I used approximately $70. They double dipped charged my charge card and took my deal bucks. I tried to use chat... nothing so I called in which I was told they would investigate. Next thing I know they shut my acct down and said too bad about the $1000. Never use them again. And too bad about my money. I violated their policy? They double dipped and stole $1000 of my money
I purchased transportation from the Las Vegas airport to my hotel. The cost was $55. Once I purchased it, all the instructions said was to meet the driver at the pillar. Groupon has no customer service number so I had to email them. I asked them where exactly do I find the driver. They emailed back a day or two later that I would meet the driver at the pillar. I responded… Which pillar? There must be hundreds of pillars at the Las Vegas airport. The next day I received an email from Groupon saying that my order was canceled and that I would receive a refund in 10 days. I went back on the site and saw that the exact same thing that I had purchased for $55, was now at $99. This is all about them not wanting to honor the price of $55. Now my sons and I do not have transportation for our flight that leaves in two days and I will not be getting my money back for 10 days. This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Let me reiterate, I would give them zero stars if I could!
I think it is terrible how these companies have gone 100% online. You cannot email, call, get a phone number or person on the phone. If you need a refund or any kind of assistance after your purchase you are screwed. I had purchased Catalina Flyer tickets to Catalina Island and after groupon purchase you are prompted to then go to that Catalina Flyer site and they were fully booked for over a week out?! So we obviously needed a refund. When people spend money on your company, they should be able to call and speak to an actual agent regarding their purchase. What a scam. Unfortunate. No more purchasing from Groupon, you have lost my service. What a nightmare!
Groupon is an absolute joke. They are theives and scammers. Worst company I've ever tried to use to promote business on
The app is set up to fool you. I looked at an offer and left GroupMe app to get card info. When logging back in to purchase it charged me three times because I just clicked on the item I wanted... ONE OF. And had to come back to the site. Never authorized 3 purchases!

I have been a loyal client with Groupon
For a few years now. Groupon does not allow one to go back to fix misspellings, after the respond to a client review has been sent. There system is very sensitive and will send your reply without you finishing your respond. This is very poorly managed.
Purchased a Wisteria plant that bore no resemblance to the one pictured in their advert. Just look at the pictures and judge for yourself!
Went to purchase some Big Heads for my sister in law's graduation. Took forever to connect with a Groupon representative. In the end, I paid Groupon $26.97 for 3 heads (3 x $19.99 value on the website = 59.97) which I then paid $13 per big head for shipping and tax ($13x3 = $39) because groupon wouldn't let the vouchers combine. So I pay $39+ $26.97 = $65.97 for a $59.97 +$13 ($72.97) item. Saving $7 in total... Total rip off. Used to use the site to save for fun events like graduation. Now its just sad.
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.
Answer: Yes, report it but using social media is a very effective way to get a companies attention. Spread the word, Groupon does not honor returns!
Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?
Answer: Groupon usually sends a tracking # via email If not do as the other people suggested, check My Groupons
Answer: I wish I could say why, but a solution might be to contact Call Curtis, or your local News station that helps with consumer issues. They always seem to get fast resolutions, because companies hate BAD TV PUBLICITY.
Answer: I personally do not trust groupon. The question previous to yours printed on this site should answer your question as to its reliaiblity
Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!
Answer: Well, it's not Ideeli anymore... it's been Ideel for about a year now I think. Yes, there is a customer support phone number. I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
