This site is my #2 because American Apparel is always #1. Horrible and stupid return policy, I mean ridiculous terms and impossible to work with. I would suggest you buy your products elsewhere because paying shipping both ways for something that might not suit you sucks. I made some purchases and now I'm stuck with them and very dissatisfied with both the product and the customer service.
Groupon has horrible customer service because it does not offer live support. You can't speak to anyone about what you want to order. I also did not receive the correct order and again, no one to call. The email support is super SLOW, so I was very stressed out wondering if I will get more ey back for the item that was not sent. Doubtful because there was no paperwork at delivery!
I have been using Groupon for years and have been happy because of immediate issue resolutions and fantastic customer support. This is no longer true. They deserve a 0 rating as dealing with them is now a several hour odyssey that will bring you no satisfaction. No more phone support, rude and unhelpful staff that will text you via live help if you get lucky and anyone is available. Nightmare! Never again.
Groupon uses to have good dining deals. Now, most restaurant using groupon allow only customers to order from a more expensive menu. Thus, what you save with groupon you pay later. Then, I do not need to buy groupon; just go to the restaurant of my choice and select what to eat including their specials. Also, the quality of some of the listed restaurants is in doubt; check with tripadvisor before buying.
Really horrible customer service! I was their customer over 2 years. In August this year I bought a watch and this dispatch was delayed for > 2 weeks. When I finally got it I found a creme in a box.
Now they offers me 25 USD refund only. Even not the cost difference between creme & watches. Amazing scorn. I will stop my purchases from this site.
Had a problem placing an order on Groupon yesterday (4/3) and got an automated message to contact customer service. I found the live chat feature and later got transferred to "Getaway Specialist" and was in queue position 3. After getting to queue position 1 and waiting for close to 2 hours, there was still no one to answer my call. Since it was getting late, I decided I would try again today. Maybe they had a really troublesome case.
Today, I tried live chat again. I was transferred to "Getaway Specialist," waited half hour and was immediately hung up on before the customer service rep even said hello (see pic). Needless to say I was infuriated.
Buytopia used to run much better. I have a shipment outstanding since the summer. Everytime I ask they say "it is coming". This is baloney. I want them to credit my credit card but they won't. They take your money and then don't provide any assistance. Now you can't talk to anyone as they have no customer service on the phone now. Stay away. I like the merchandise they have but I will not be ordering anymore from them. I just hope I receive my outstanding items by 2019!
I've been trying to get resolved a purchased Groupon from a merchant that went out of business. The text messaging customer support is useless. I've tried 3 times and once I explain my situation, they no longer communicate with me. One can only assume they have been trained to pretend to care and then ignore the customer. I'm stuck with a purchase I cannot use after giving Groupon my money. Now the Groupon expired and they last told me they couldn't do anything.
I have no problem with their customer service... I bought one item and received it before the "expected shipping dates"... my problem is with some of the prices... DO YOUR RESEARCH ONLINE before you buy to make sure you're getting the lowest price. A couple of weeks ago they had a French Connection dress that was selling for a lower price on the French Connection website... and today they have a corso como sandal that is selling for a lower price on the corso como website (and the designers are offering free shipping)... I sent customer service a message about this, and they just thanked me for my thoughts! So, at random I decided to research another item on sale, Donna Karan black slide ons (on sale now)... and its selling at endless.com for about $35 lower + free shipping! All I'm saying is... do your research. I just saved about $15 by buying the sandals from corso como. Maybe with higher end products (e.g. Gucci, etc.) their deals are the best... I don't know.

Made a purchase thru Groupon. I attempted to cancel it the following day. They advised me it had shipped. Now 11 days later. Item NOT shipped. They cancelled order due to being out of stock. They also advise my refund will be within a few days. Total Bad experience.
The selection is great and sometimes you can find some really good deals. I ordered two sweaters and a tube scarf, which was shipped pretty promptly- however, my local post office lost the packages somehow, so now I am dealing with trying to find them or get my money back (personally I would really like to somehow get the items I ordered over getting my money back because I know I got great deals.) I spoke with an ideeli customer service representative online who put in a claim to the post office and I also talked to the post office multiple times. Everyone has been really nice, but over a week later I still have no idea what happened to my packages (isn't it weird that both disappeared?) and have not received a refund.
Groupon is definitely my favorite group buying site. I think i have bought over 10 vouchers from them (mostly food related). I love dining out and really saved a lot just by availing of the discount offers made available! If you want to try a new place to eat out, just check their deals.
Aside from the food and dining deals, they offer great travel and activities deals. Even if I don't have enough time, I still make it a point to go to Groupon's site everyday.
I purchases an UP 24 fitness band for nearly $80. Lasted four months and two weeks and fell apart. The Jawbone company said it was not their fault and Groupon said after 14 day they took no responsibility. I could have paid $30 more and had a warranty. Do not buy items such as this on GROUPON!
What a bad experience! I will never buy any group on vouchers for tour. Most of the dates were not available. Their appointed travel agent choose the date and month for you. So bad follow ups... I do not recommend group on purchased. Don't get cheated especially exclusive tours.
I must say I will never use Groupon EVER again in my life. I have purchased a curling iron almost 2 weeks ago & they still haven't shipped my order. I am so done with this site. I need to unsubscribe myself because it is a useless site. Pathetic.
I have shopped from Ideeli in the past and had a decent experience. However, I recently order 2 suits from Ideeli. One suit was shipped with the jacket only - no skirt. There is no phone # to be found on the website or the web in general. I went onto their chat 4 times and was told I was #1 in the queue but no one ever responds. I sent 2 emails from 2 different email accounts. They did respond to the gmail account and I was told they would look into it and get back to me by 8:00 the next day. Still waiting to get a reply. They have the absolute worst customer service. I can only hope to cancel my credit card charge since they don't seem to care about fixing a problem.

Horrible horrible Horrible! Do NOT place an order with groupon goods. I called these clowns to find out where my boots were that I had ordered a month ago. Still did not receive them and was given a non working tracking number that has been in process for a month! Called customer service was a waste of time. How can a company that is willing to take your money have no information on where the location of the product your ordered is. Oh and the 'manufacturer' of these boots is a big secret and cannot be contacted by individuals steer clear from Groupon such a scam!
This website is seemingly a total scam. I ordered my purchase and within two days received a call saying I needed to verbally confirm (which I've never heard of for online ordering?!?). They said I needed to call within 24 hours to confirm my order. I called THREE times in 24 hours and never received a call back. Then I emailed their support email TWICE and never received a return email or call. It's been over a week and I still have no heard from anyone and am very concerned they're going to steal my money and never even send this purchase which was almost $400! I finally spoke to the "live chat" person today and they were absolutely NO help. Ideel.com if you don't respond you're a total scam and the worst online shopping I have ever encountered.

Got a coupon as a gift for a hair cut. Apparently, the coupon isn't even sold by the salon and is instead from an employee who hasn't worked there in two years, and it is them who get the money, not the company, they've tried to take it down but can't since they didn't post it. I can't get a return because the customer service page doesn't load no matter how I try and there is no number anywhere to call. Wish I could give 0 stars
We are a new business and set up a groupon account to help with advertising and bring in traffic to our family owned and operated tire and wheel shop! After 3 months of our Groupon being active we had only one customer purchase... once we redeemed the groupon it was brought to our attention that we, as the merchant would only receive 50% or the money paid for our product. That would require us to have a 100% mark up. This was not information given to us upon set up. We will never use Groupon again.
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!
Answer: Well, it's not Ideeli anymore... it's been Ideel for about a year now I think. Yes, there is a customer support phone number. I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
