I've only use Groupon a few times, mostly for services, and I don't really have any problem with any of them. I usually read all the fine prints and do some quick research about the business/deal being offered before I purchase them. I know this method doesn't always work, but it's a good preliminary process to reduce the chance of getting into problem.
The site overall is pretty easy to use. Nothing too complicated, although I wish there's some kind of reminder for when a service you buy is about to expire.
I bought "$11.99 for an Oral-B 12-Pack of Replacement Toothbrush Heads ($60 List Price)" from Groupon. The product is low-quality junk. It breaks after 3 uses instead of holding up for 3 months as Oral-B would. It is not Oral-B, but some "compatible" variety. Groupon misleads customers with false advertisement and sells inferior knock-offs. Return policy is practically non-existent. I highly do NOT recommend buying anything from them.
I have shopped with some of the other online sample sale websites and always been happy. Ideeli, however, sent me the wrong sized item (a 10 versus a 2), then attached a sized 2 tag of their own to it. I am in the process of attempting to return the item, and it is nearly impossible. No one replies to my emails and they only offer store credit, minus the shipping costs. So I will end up paying 10.95 for shipment of an item that was not what I ordered.
So simple to find everything. I check before going anywhere lunch, dinner, outings, etc... The value is amazing. I have learned of so many stores and services available within my community due to groupon
If you want items shipped fast use Amazon(comparable prices). Promised two day shipping and it was met. Promised 4 to 7 day delivery after shipment, should be met as FedEx has it after 2 days of processing. Expected faster processing, Amazon always beats their ship date in my experiences. Groupon lived up to its obligations and has good deals but prefer to be impressed not standard shipping policies.
I have read several Groupon reviews posted here. I recently subscribed to Groupon and have found some great deals. So far so good. Just purchase small offers until recently I purchase a larger deal. Just like a prior reviewer stated below. Read the fine print. I was charged twice for the coupon, but part of it was my fault I did not take the time to read. I contacted them at *******858 and they were very helpful and refunded my money right away. I guess for the business owner is good and bad. They get publicity, but loose profit. I will continua to update on this site
Ordered a laptop on 12/11, had delivery within 7-11 days, as of today still have not received. Groupon keeps sending tracking number but problem with this is I live in Tennessee, the package is headed to California. Customer service both in person and by email has been no help. Not sure if I will purchase future items with this problem I am having with no help from Groupon.
Groupon deal was great.
Parked at casino and used $25 free slot card and parking was free.
Had extra time and went to humane society.
It's very small and full... With all the money that passes through the hands of falls view casino and the big hotels like Hilton, the oaks, Sheraton. I wish they would donate a few dollars to help the shelter.
Please if you have some time drop in and walk a dog or pet a kitty.
They are very sad and could use the help.

Terrible experience with Vaporizer product that simply does not work. Groupon should not be promoting sketchy companies like this 'D&W' vaporizer knock off. I cannot get in contact with D&W after multiple attempts and groupon has outsourced their customer service department and send me template emails to 'help' me resolve my issue.
I purchased a three night stay at Royal Decameron In San Juan, solely because it said adults only! That was a lie! Groupon needs to do a better job at confirming what they are advertising. I advise to you all before purchasing a reservation at any hotel, go to the Hotel website and call them. Also read the reviews. Not making this mistake again! My husband and I wanted to relax and we couldnt because of all the crying from kids:
I Purchased a haircut and highlight on Groupon. Next day contacted the company and they do not have any availability until 11/13/18 because they are at their satellite location. Try to contact customer support, there is no number, no email address and website is not working for me to contact via chat. It keeps telling me My coupon does not work. I find this unacceptable. Don't know what to do now and I spent $220 on something that I can't use until a month later. Which I don't need then.
Before purchasing check them out. Groupon doesn't have a phone contact. Probable due to fact when you have a problem they don't want to fix it. Business shut their doors and Groupon said they would investigate and get back with 72 hrs. Never happens. Then you CHAT again and again. They promise G bucks (credit) but that took 3 times of chatting and about 3 plus hours before 1 person finally helped. DONT DO IT. They completely ignore their own guarantee!
Bought two of these to take on holiday but with the great weather we are having thought we would give them a try

Item promised to be delivered in a week. Its now almost a month later and item has still not turned up. Have spoken to customer services each time but they don't actually provide a service. Just keep saying that they have escalated it and I will get an email. It is late already - way too late (intended as a birthday present) so why do I have to wait another 10 working days (yes - two weeks) just to escalate my complaint? I know what's coming - will have to wait another stupidly long time to get a refund. Just don't bother buying from them.
I ordered 3 clothing items at once from Ideeli, and they all arrived in one bulk shipment in perfect condition. Tracking of the package was from the exact date projected on the site. It took under a week to arrive, so I was quite impressed.
I just booked a 2-night stay at a London hotel (complete with daily breakfast and tickets to a nearby attraction) through Ideeli travel. I'm a little nervous about how the whole package will pan out, but I figured with such a seamless first experience, it was worth a shot.

A few months after my son died, I purchased a photo blanket groupon so I could make a remembrance blanket for my eight year old grandson, using pictures of him and his father. My daughter and I spent in excess of 20 hours attempting to load the pictures, using two different computers. It would never save and allow us to complete the process. The Customer Service at the company was never available and we were unable to resolve the issue. So, I requested my $16 back from Groupon. They refused. Never use them. If there is an issue, you lose.
Be Way of discounted oil change offers. They're not cheap! I and my daughter have used it(my daughter didn't know about my experience). They offer the very basic oil change-read the fine print very well- if you get anything that is any different from what the coupon said you will get charged enormously higher prices than if you went to a regular oil change store(i. E. synthetic oil because car manufacturer says it has to be synthetic oil even after I told them I've used regular oil all the time prior and no problem)

1+1+0.5=2.5 hours for $49 or $19.60/hr not too bad
But if you are the last one to be shot (1,800 sold) your kids may have graduated.
She has sold 4,500 hours of work time.

Never buy Groupon Gateway deal. I learned Groupon was not the place to save money, instead they rip you off. The online processed confirmation showed $187. XX without indicating it was US dollars. They billed me $209. XX CAD, but I received Hotel receipt $153. XX CAD in May 2014. The customer service basically just told me they were sorry to hear that. Everything is customer's own responsibility, you take your own risk.
I agree with the other reviews. Ideeli was a great site. Had designer plus size clothes. Everyday something new. I checked it everyday. Just went to the groupon site. Ugh, very bad selection. Everything looks like you could buy it at Walmart. To look for plus size, you have to scroll through everything else. It seems like all of the clothes are just different colored knits. If Groupon could see how much they probably lost $ wise. They should consider getting the old Ideeli crew together and do what they did before. Won't return to groupon. It is like a Bad flea market.
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!

I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
