For exactly 120 for a couples massage was not reflected on my account. I contacted groupon and gave them the order number in question as well as screenshots of my confirmation email. Instead of inquiring on the issue they refunded a second groupon voucher I bought for a movie ticket in the amount of 26.45 when I paid 29.45 and skipped out on paying my 3 additional dollars. When I contacted them a third time, my email was blocked. I would have been fine calling and explain this issue but there is no customer service number. Beware of the bs. Groupon is sketchy.
We were so excited my husband was given this as a birthday gift…. The extra expenses have been ridiculous… extra $100 each to fly out from Brisbane… extra costs to sit together on flight… car hire for 3 days cause a very basic motel is not near city, beach, etc…. We were not honoured any of our three Friday and Saturday night options… had to fly out on a Thursday… taking away our income (haven't even gone and down $1060)… gosh I hope our bottom of the peeking order destination is worth it!
I have bought fabulous designer items on this site such as a Pucci bag for $99.
I couldn't touch these items for less than $400 in the stores. Shipping can take a long time but it is worth the wait!
I 've tried to return an item because it was not the right color. It said I could return it in 30 days but they are not sending me the return level and I can not contact them.
Stay away from them!
I bought a deal through Groupon. Merchant did not have a time to provide service why Groupon selling this type of deal. Most of seller in Groupon is Fake or just advertise business through Groupon
Did not like the quality of the clothing I received. Size chart is not accurate. No way to know. The worst part is the return policy. No refunds. Meh. I will pass on this one.

I have only bought 3 things from groupon my whole life... and each and every one sucked. I bought makeup brushes and they sent me 2 and double charged me... second thing is I bought a groupon for a massage. And it is A MONTH AND A HALF LATER AND STILL TRYING TO BOOK APPOINTMENT... lastly, bought a groupon and it charged me for the wrong place. I didn't realize it until I was in an appointment for something and they said my groupon was for a different company.
I think groupon and the companies need to be on the same page and have better communication as groupon is selling too many packages and the companies cant keep up.
The idea is great, but really disappointing.
PURCHASED SOMETHING ON GROUPON ON DEC. 15 AND IT HASN'T BEEN SHIPPED YET. I CALLED THEM AND THEY SAID THEY ONLY COUNT BUSINESS DAYS SO TO THEM IT HAS ONLY BEEN 4 DAYS. OMG. I TOLD HER I WILL NEVER PURCHASE WITH GROUPON AGAIN. SHE SEEMED TO NOT CARE AND KEPT SAYING. "READ THE FINE PRINT". UGHHH
The website is good, however, the service is terrible. My voucher was redeemed through the suppiers website but neither they nor Groupon will contact me, so I have paid £99 for a voucher, which I can not use.
DO NOT USE GROUPON, IF YOU HAVE AN ISSUE YOU CAN NOT RELY ON THEM TO SORT IT OUT.
I purchased 3 concert tickets in February, for a concert in September. I paid In full, with a Credit Card.
Groupon Cancelled the event on May 26. I DID NOT CANCEL THIS!
GROUPON DID!
They would NOT refund my money, only issuing "Groupon Credits" to only be used ONLY on Groupon!
Groupon has proven to be VERY unreliable. I never know what, or IF I will receive what I think I am ordering. For this reason, I NO LONGER want to do ANY business with Groupon.
I want my money refunded to my credit card, so I can use it to do business with a reputable company instead of Groupon.
Ordered two sets of 32 make-up brushes from Groupon. After a couple of weeks only one arrived. I emailed them asking if the second set was dispatched separately. When I got a reply, they told me they were very sorry but they would not be able to send me the second set but I could get credited for the missing item or I could return the one I did receive for a full refund. I replied to them that I would not be interested in credit as I would not be purchasing from them again if they cannot fulfill their customers orders and I was not interested in a refund as it would mean I was losing out on the product I did receive. Again I got an email stating me to return my product IF it was eligible to be returned. I replied back that I am entitled to a replacement for my missing item and I would like to know why I am not able to receive my missing product when they still have the products their website for sale. I also stated that I was unable to return my make-up brush set as it was given as a present so did that mean I had lost out on my refund and will be stuck with credit that I have no intention of using. Waiting on a reply from them but I am determined to either get my item or a refund so I can get it from a more reliable source.
I thought that this was a great site. I ordered a lot of clothing and had to return a great deal of it because it was either unexpectedly poor quality (paper-thin cashmere), or too big or too small. Even though I had never once opted for the store credit option, and had always opted for a refund, they are holding on to $1200 of my money! I have sent them an email about this a month ago and only after I sent a repeat email did they send a note saying they would be replying within a couple of days. More than a week later, still no reply and still no refund.
In many ways, I get the feeling that the customer service dept is trying, but when they actually steal $1200 of your money, it is so over-the-top. I was hoping that they would come through so that I don't have to start figuring out how to get my money back by what? Reporting them to the attorney general? Taking them to small claims court? It will take a lot of effort to even figure out what to do and I totally resent it.
By the way, their online record of one's account is completely bollixed up. It says that things have shipped when they have been cancelled, and many other problems. It is completely unreliable in terms of reflecting what is actually going on in your account.
It is really confusing. I was so appreciative when they allowed me to return things that had been termed "nonreturnable", but it turns out to not be much of a favor if they get their merchandise back but they keep your money.

I hate you groupon! I ordered a perfume on Oct 24,2013 they gave me tracking number that still not working until now Nov 15,2013, I called them yesterday and they told me that " it may be delivered one of these days" but she willl give me a refund even if I will receive it (she's not 100% sure) that's why I accepted the refund. I had another perfume purchase I made on Oct. 28,2013 that until today I haven't received a shipping confirmation which doesn't work, I noticed that my order that day doesn't appear in "my groupons" which I didn't mind, I also asked the customer service and she told me that groupon refunded my money which it should be in my bank account right now, I asked her "why did groupon refunded it without my permission? I didn't receive any email informing me that the item is out of stock ( which I order that perfume day 1 it was posted) She told me that in their system she can see that groupon send me an email. Nov. 5,2013 which is I really didn't receive any email, she told me maybe it's in my spam which is ridiculous, groupon keeps sending me their everyday deal which I constantly receiving. If her statement is true why until now there's no refund on my bank account and it has been 7 business days already since yesterday I called them. Get lost! Groupon!
They have the WORST costumer service EVER. Every time I order from the... I either NEVER even get it and have to dispute with my bank. Or it takes 3 weeks to ship when their return policy says you have 14 days to return FROM SHIP DATE-makes no sense. Never return requests. STAY AWAY THEY JUST WANT YOU MONEY!

I am always checking daily to find what the newest deals are. I can't think of how many times I was able to score deals compared to the retail pricing in stores that are local to me.
Got some great deals here for some essential oils. Loved them. Got my friends to buy them too. Just need to be careful because some of the companies are not that great.
Codes don't work a lot of time... there is NO customer support... the money you think you are saving you spend trying to redeem your codes and trying to get help... NOT worth the time and "saving"!
Bought one night at a hotel from groupon and then noticed that the same hotel for the same dates and room were actually cheaper on most other sites then groupon! Buyer beware!
Love groupon. Love the deals every day. A lot of people keep saying they are a scam, umm no, they are in so many countries and they are quite legit, its awesome for consumers and for businesses!
It can not get any better when you don't use the coupon before the expiration date you get to get the whole dollar amount to be put towards that product until forever.
I ordered a cream for elbows, armpits for lightening & whitening the skin. Groupon falsely advertised the cream, it is only a moisturizer for dry elbow. I won't purchase products from them.
I recently purchased a deal on groupon and the moment I tried to redeem my deal the site shut down! This will be the last time I ever purchase something off groupon.
I bought a handbag which was claimed as 100% authentic Valentino bag.
It was Mario Valentino bag. It is worth anywhere from $50 to $100 and I paid almost $500 for it.

A business refused to honor my expired Groupon for price I paid for it (not promotional value, but paid value). I contacted Groupon and they at first refused to give me a refund saying I should try again with the company. No dice. Then they said they would look into it and contact the business. No good. Then they said they would take care of this and they refunded my groupon to a card that was from a bank that didn't exist anymore. They didn't ask me first what I would prefer--credit to use on another Groupon or a refund on my card. Customer service both on email and phone were unsupportive, unresponsive and unhelpful. Theya re policy driven, unsympathetic, unthinking drones who can't answer a question that is not on their script. I may never see this $20 again and they refuse to refund a different groupon I have that I can no longer use due to life-threatening illness and medical problems. They said that's too bad, they won't refund it, I should give it away to someone. Like the loss of $30 is nothing and I should not be concerned about it. Jerks!
The worst service we ever had. They are lying, you have to wait at least 30 mins for pick up.! Worst worst worst service! Dont ever get their services!
BUYERS BEWARE WHEN PURCHASING FROM GROUPON. I recently learned the following shameful things about Groupon's business practices:
1) Their posting process allows very convincing yet fraudulent deals to be posted on the site. In my case it was a laser tag deal for Stratum Laser Tag that Stratum said had been posted without their consent by an unknown source.
2) If you have purchased one of these fraudulent deals, they will remove the posting from their site but will NOT bother to notify you that you purchased a fraudulent deal. Nope. Instead they will quietly allow you, in ignorance, attempt to redeem a fake voucher in person. Not only will they waste your money, they will waste your time and good faith.
3) Groupon will then refuse to refund you because the item was "final sale." How can it be final sale when there was no product "sold" in the first place? Absolutely ludicrous. The money spent on said fraudulent deal can't even be rolled over for face-value credit in store or elsewhere. As far as they're concerned, it's just gone.
I suggest to you, if you see a deal you'd like to snatch up, to call the business directly before purchasing the Groupon to verify the deal is legitimate. Do not use the phone number listed on the Groupon posting. Look it up on the business' official site and call from there. And if something goes wrong do not expect Groupon to have your back :( Very disappointing as I have been a HUGE fan of the site and had referred business to them to purchase this Groupon---which you'd think they would appreciate in a customer, but there's been no customer appreciation shown here.
After a few good experiences with my groupons for smoothies and a bar I like, I had a really weird experience with my Groupon at a dinky spa and felt really ripped off. They were unprofessional and the place was actually dirty! The floors, the table. The massage was not what the pretty picture not he Groupon made it seem to be. Well, I emailed and got no response. I finally broke down and called them and got a real person who was really nice and refunded me with no hassle. I was still pissed after waiting to hear back through email and she credited me with some extra money in my account "goodwill" and was really nice to talk to. Really friendly and cool. I do think they're struggling to keep up with the volume, but if you can actually make contact they have awesome customer service. Really rare. Verizon is the only other company I feel this way about.
Like I said, they need to have people to get back to those emails! You can't ignore people! And I agree with others that they should check these places to make sure the deal is really a deal and not a ticket to go to a shady place where you feel ripped off even with a discount.
Phone service gets an A and I'm not just saying that because I got some credit from them. It was a nice surprise though. I think they're going through growing pains. The lady I talked to said her computer was running slow because the servers were so overloaded. If they can adjust to keep up and keep the deals legit, I'll keep using them.
Groupon is the largest "daily deal" site, selling vouchers for discounted local experiences and services such as restaurants and spas, as well as travel packages, shopping, and a number of other items. Vouchers are purchased upfront and typically must be redeemed by a certain date, after which time Groupons expire. To businesses Groupon markets itself as a way to drive new customers. Groupon is a public company (NASDAQ: GRPN) and is based in Chicago, IL.
Hi Polly: Congratulations on the bag! Thanks so much for the support, and being an ideeli member.
