I used to use Groupon all the time, but lately the "deals" have not been of the same quality as when they started. I've unsubscribed from their emails because it's just not for me anymore.
I've been the Ideeli customer since May 2013, but recent experience with this online retail was horrible. I've ordered 3 items few weeks ago (#*******) and found out that the size (4) were too big for the 2 items (Please note that I've ordered another item with the same brand few months ago with size 4 which it fits fine with me). I requested to exchange, but got rejected. They allow me to return (by making the return label for me) so that I can reorder smaller size (2). However, the return label didn't include both of the items I requested. I've asked the online chat support and he told me that one of the item is a final sale and can't be returned. I wasn't aware of this. When I request for my current credit to be return to my credit card because I wouldn't want to shop here anymore. It was rejected too because it was from a price match courtesy. When I asked if I can escalate my request to someone else and he told me that he is already a senior rep. So it seems that I'm stuck with the items that don't even fit me. I never rate bad about anyone's business but this one. :(
Lots of great new experiences with Groupon that we would never have had otherwise. Great going.
Products are okay, however they will not ship in the timeframe that is stated in the fine print. I ordered somthing a month ago and still haven't recived it and they said it would take 7 days. The best part it that im leaving the country so not I won't even get it, great jobs groupon.
My $300 order was cancelled with no explanation. They returned my inquiry 4 days later, said they wanted my verbal confirmation, so they called me and left me a message, and since I didn't call back via 24 hrs they cancelled the order. What?! I have residential address, never had any problems on any other sites, and was never put in this situation before. I would not recommend this site, as you never know if you order gets delivered or not. I will stay with the reliable flash sites.

I just read some of the reviews and was about to think Ideel is a scammy site cause I purchased a boot and than gotten a shipment email letting me know my item has been shipped out so I went to the UPS website to track my package and nothing no status whatsoever. I contacted their support team by email days ago and than again yesterday and no response just a very prompt acknowledgement of my emails and that's it. I looked all over their website for a phone number but nothing listed that I find. I found their phone number in billing statement and just tried calling and what you know a recording saying they are busy assisting other customers and to leave your info so they can get back to you. This is definitely a scammy site if not they really need to get their $#*! together.

The reason that you may have to leave a voicemail is due to the fact that we aren't a traditional call center. All of the agents who are on Live Chat and answering emails are also handling the phones and can't do that while chatting with another member. I have had pretty good luck with Groupon. Some of the items were not the quality as described but the price was cheap enough, I kept the items. Overall, I like the products I have ordered from them.
Ideel or ideeli it doesn’t matter – DON’T ORDER FROM THEM. Horrible return policy, horrible customer service…if you can get service. Over priced items that you can get for cheaper at Amazon etc. with a free return policy/customer service. Well, I ordered some items, however I did not realize that these items could not be return, I placed my order at 11:45am by 12:10pm (so 25 minutes later) same day I tried to cancel my order by emailing the so called customer service, and I called…no answer. Instead, one day or two days later I get a confirmation email that my order has shipped. Really? After I tried to cancel the order, well any other merchant has better policies than this ideel/ideeli…money grabbing scam. DON’T ORDER FROM THEM!

If an item is being sold as a final sale, it's marked as "non-returnable" on the item order page. The return eligibility is shown to the right of the photo for each item sold on our site and is also stated on the order confirmation email sent after checkout. Should you wish to cancel an order after it is placed, you can do so within 2 hours after placing the order through your account by going to My Orders and clicking on the order and removing the items from your order.
I'm very sorry no one answered when you called but we don't have a traditional call center. The agents are all working live chat which is why they are not always available to answer the phones and they will respond to you within 24 hours if a message is left on the customer service phone line with a phone number to call back. I'm sorry for any delay in responding to your email and we do strive to respond with 24 hours but from time to time there are delays in meeting that timeframe.

Products here are really authentic but the only problem I've encountered is that up to now, they never replied to my e-mails. I made a lot of returns, some products are too small or big for me so I made returns for it. Some of their products are also similar to Hautelook. I just hope they will improved their customer service.

I purchased a voucher for $10 to buy a Shutterfly photo book for $10 plus shipping. Prior to the expiration date of the Groupon it said "don't worry it never expires" WELL when I went to use it today it was a completely different order. It was $10 TOWRDS a purchase of a photo book. I emailed customer service and got nowhere. They told me I can give it to someone as a gift if I don't want it. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER GROUPON''' EVER
I purchased tickets to a local event, but I had a family emergency and could no longer attend. I tried gifting the passes to several people who were not interested. I finally wrote in asking for a credit. First they flat out denied me, but I asked them to reconsider given the circumstance I'm facing and they politely obliged to return my monies in the form of a groupon credit which is what I wanted anyway.
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.
Answer: Yes, report it but using social media is a very effective way to get a companies attention. Spread the word, Groupon does not honor returns!
Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: I wish I could say why, but a solution might be to contact Call Curtis, or your local News station that helps with consumer issues. They always seem to get fast resolutions, because companies hate BAD TV PUBLICITY.

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!
Answer: Well, it's not Ideeli anymore... it's been Ideel for about a year now I think. Yes, there is a customer support phone number. I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
