I initially wrote a harsh review for GrowOrganic.com. Ultimately I was not happy with the level of communication I received regarding an order. In all honesty, I was a jerk and expressed myself a little too fluidly. In response, I received a cordial email from GrowOrganic; which explained the situation and resolved any issues that i had. I'm very happy with the response and look forward to ordering from them in the future. They have good prices and really do care about their customers.
The lack of communication, in this day and age, is inexcusable. When I was forced to call several times in order to resove the issues, I was re-routed to leave a message. Leaving a message is a crap shoot. Sometimes they call back, sometimes not at all. Email communication might as well be snail mail. When one does get a person on the phone, it is "passing the buck" routine including to the customer not to mention the condescending communication style. The rudeness of the customer service (one of them, especially) is unreal. They don't know how to apologize, appreciate, empathize, or provide help.I finally told them to forget resolving all of my issues, just keep my money, but lose my number. They literally treat you like you're bothering them. My issues: Missing package going on 3 months and a dead item upon arrival: 2 different orders. I shall NEVER order from here again.

I am a gardener. Ordered three fruit trees. Two were bad stock (branches growing incorrect) - but company refused to give back. Any good firm would have thrown these trees out. Last tree died. I will not buy from this company again.
From point of sale to product support GrowOrganic is unavailable without persistence and when they finally address questions, they seemed bothered and hurried with very brief answers. My recent correspondence has remains unanswered.
So you want to start gardening? You have no clue? Okay, pick out whatever vegetable, fruits whatever seeds anything. They have online free tutorials, everything is organic, everything pretty much comes with instructions, in great shipping and condition. You cannot go wrong in buying from this site. Happy gardening.
Seemingly nice selection of plants/trees at seemingly reasonable prices
BUT this vendor is quick to take your order and money but, with no promised ship date nor easy way to contact the vendor to find out what is going on. My recommendation: bypass this vendor for more reliable operators.
I bought my trees on 1/4/21. It's April 5th now and I still haven't received them. Emailed Grow Organic several times about the status and they promised me they'll ship out my trees. Even promised to talk to the boss and get my shipping expedited. This was a lie. They finally told me they doing have the trees and blamed it on the grower. Only took them three months to tell me this.
I tried to write a review on their website but it's not going through. I guess they don't like the truth.

Everything that I ordered was sent out of season and was moldy or died before I could plant it. Instead of offering a refund, I was sent an email with highlights of fine print from deep within their website, which no reasonable consumer would consider searching for before placing an order. Unapologetic about not giving a refund, the owner accused me of harrassment for calling customer service and threats because I explained that for every single unhappy customer, circa 20 people will find out about it. I would not recommend ordering from this company unless you're located nearby in California.

Do not order from this site unless you are in California. The owner admitted that she would send banana plants to Alaska, where they obviously don't grow. Completely irresponsible shipping policies are in place at this company!

They sold me a diseased Asian pear tree. And refused to warrantee it in any way. Told me I had to treat it while it's dormant. How was i to know it was diseased til it started to grow?
Terrible company. I will never ever buy from them again. They don't honor their product, nor respect their customers. Some nerve.
I ordered soil analysis. I paid for soil analysis on May 31. They did not mail me anything for more than 2 weeks. Then called them, then they mailed me the bag. I put the soil sample mailed to their lab, however, now is July 9, I still did not receive any answer from them. My planting season become delay by them for 2 months. I called them 20 times in last 2 weeks, talked to a customer service who transferred my call to someone else. I left a message but they never called me back. I called the next week and left a message but they never called me back. Gee. Very bad service. They still wanted to just transfer my call to someone else. Today, I still do not have soil analysis report. It has been 2 months already... I am so upset.

I ordered cover crop seeds, lettuce seeds and beet seeds. Everything arrived within 2 weeks and their email support helped with my questions. It's a legit business.

Despite a direct confirmation from the company itself, and after waiting and waiting, I was finally told my order was "OUT OF STOCK". I ordered well in advance and should have been notified immediately, not almost TWO MONTHS later! When I contacted the company 3 weeks after my order was placed they should have been honest and not lied to me- telling me my order would be shipped soon, "wait for your tracking information in an email". JOKE of a company selling things they don't have.
