Check your receipts. Past month Grubhub has been increasing service fee after order delivered when charge posts to account. Food price, tax and tip stay same, but their service fee increases. For example when orders placed fee $4. Final charge then $4.80. How is this not illegal? Beware!
Grubhub will always blame the restaurant even when it their inability to deliver. It was a good service but has lost its ability for accuracy and delivering on time. Too bad but luckily there are plenty of other services that can provide the same service, on time, and accurately!

Did not to give even 1 star but makes you. They do not even deserve a star. Ordered a pizza from a pizza shop 10 min from house. 45 min would be an accurate time. 30 min to make pizza 15 min to deliver. 45 minutes past and no pizza changed delivery time 20 min later than original time. Still waited and 25 minutes after original time no pizza. Text with customer support and they apologize and said it is being made now and will be here in 20 min. We will give you 5 dollars off a future order. Poorest attempt at customer service when they couldn't provide their entire service they offer and I have to use the lack of service again to make up for there lack of service. Absolutely pathetic! Will never use again.

Grubhub once more a disaster. Watched on app as driver made multiple pickups and stops, resulting in my meal being delivered cold and very late. Grubhub customer service solution is credit toward future meal. I'd rather take back my tip and delivery fee! Guess I'm a DoorDash customer now.

We ordered our food at 7 PM and were told that it should arrive in 40 to 50 minutes. It's hard times, so we tipped the driver extra. The food got pushed back, literally between an hour and a half and now an hour and 45 minutes later—even though the food was ready 30 mins after ordering. Where the hell is our driver? He's not responding to text messages or phone calls. When we called customer service, while I was happy to get our order refunded after the agent offered us a $10 credit (are you serious? It's date night and Friday night and we paid money for this food, we would like our dinner), we at least got the amount refunded. But the food? No idea where that is. It's 9 PM and we're hungry. First world problems you might say, but the reality is this is a service that were paying for. GrubHub, get your act together.

Food was almost an hour late and then it was delivered to my back door, live in the woods and it's pitch black out but my front door has a light. They went on a dirt road that runs along my property so, they had to climb thru the woods to get to my back porch. Needless to say, my food had not one hint of warmth. I couldn't eat it. I called Grubhub and all they would say is, we'll give you a five dollar credit (my bill was $32.00). I told them to keep their credit because I would never use Grubhub again. I'm still mad and I'm still hungry!

There is just too many times food is missing! I understand restaurants leave off items however with delivery, drivers can be suspect. Grubhub should require a check of items and also require sealed bags for delivery.

We were given 2 gift cards for GrubHub by friends who wanted to help us during a medical crisis. Unfortunately, we live too far away from the metro area to use GrubHub in our home town. I finally had the opportunity to order through GrubHub for a meal at our daughter's house today. I am shocked and appalled that the total order added on $30+ "service fee" plus tax and a delivery fee. By the time I added a tip for the driver, we basically paid for the entire meal ourselves and the gift cards were wasted by the additional fees that GrubHub charges. These gift cards were supposed to be a blessing to help us through challenging times and left nothing but bad feelings about the money that others WASTED while believing they where helping us. Don't waste your money on GrubHub gift cards! Just give someone the cash or buy a generic Visa gift card instead... those are actually useful anywhere.

So I signed up for their monthly subscription since we order a lot at work. The kept putting charges on my orders that this was supposed to eliminate which took up time to fix. The multiple times the food was not delivered. This is the picture they sent providing proof. I think it ended up by the side of the road. Which again required time on the phone. I have never had a problem with Door Dash. Quit my subscription.

Drivers are rude. Don't speak English and always mess up a simple order. When you contact the driver they say no speak English n hang up. Not using this service again 😒

I'm happy to use services the help me get my food ordered or delivered. But Grubhub has been the ONE service that has continuously failed us. Took the order and our money, then we arrive to pick-up and no order came through to the restaurant. We order for delivery and it takes more than two hours for what's typically 45-60 minutes. Users beware!

Contacted them 48 hrs go and complained about crappy service. Order was wrong, they didn't use coupon, food was cold and and hr late. No one emailed or contacted about the issues. I emailed them again and told them the problem they stated contact Applebee's. I order it from grub hub this is the second issue last time grub hub gave someone my food. Now I can see why there are not a lot of food restaurants on grub hub. Being a nurse in a hospital this was great but not anymore.

I would put zero stars if I could, I ordered food twice from this website and both times they were not delivered. First time they didn't even send a picture when they dropped off the food, the second time it was delivered to the wrong address, 1 mile away from my location. I will no longer be using their services.

Driver was running late with ice cream from carvel and texts me that he can't find my building. I send the driver direction and try to call him. He doesn't answer the phone so I can explain where my building is, he then leaves my food in another building and tells me to "go for it" mind you those building numbers don't even exist. His Name is Wilson and he has no picture. See texts below.

We repeatedly had problems with orders (missing items, incorrect items, very late delivery). Instead of giving me a refund they only credit your account, effectively giving you a coupon only having any value if you use their service again. Terrible.

Nothing like getting a $17 salad paying Like $30 and them forgetting your salad dressing! They gave me a dry salad and it didn't give the option to note they forgot my ranch! They put my food on the neighbors porch 98% of the time! Even though my notes clearly say where to go. They need to lower prices it's way too expensive for such poor service.

Ordered my food. First time. Downloaded app etc. After I placed my order it said delivery in 45 minutes. Okay. Then I get a text with 5 minutes left before delivery that a delay of 25 minutes. Okay. Grrr. But then nothing for an additional hour and half after latest delivery time. Which was almost 1 a.m. and I was tired and no longer hungry. Just mad. Someone across the country used my account to order 80$ worth of pizza. I have a medical condition and don't earn much money, in fact I rarely order grub hub. When I brought this charge to their attention they didn't refund me. They took off the payment method from my account, but that doesn't help with the entire shifts worth of money I lost and could've used to pay doctor bills. I'm going to delete my account and just switch to doordash.

Ordered food from restaurant for approx $150. Grub hub added $50 for tip, service fee and $8.88 tax for a total of $200. Tried several times to reduce tip to $10 from $26, but due to tech issue paid, the changes did not go through. Though the money went to Grubhub, they kept insisting to ask restaurant for refund.

On March 5th I ordered from a local pizza restaurant. The order was very late. I texted the driver he said he was waiting for t u e order at the restaurant. Up shot was he delivered the same order twice! We contacted Grubhub and they said because we received 2 orders we had to pay for 2 orders. We argued that we did not order.the exact same thing twice. Eventually they gave us grubhub coupons which does not put money back in my account. I feel cheated and will think long and hard before using them again.

I ordered from Grubhub for the first time expecting a pleasant experience. My food was delivered 1.5 hour late. I contacted Grubhub via chat and the first agent abruptly ended the chat. The second agent did not resolve my issue to my expectation. I requested a refund but only offered $10 discount on my next order. No way in hell that I am ordering again from this company. Ordering pizza directly from a pizza restaurant is better. Horrible experience!

Gps showed driver in the parking lot at the business next door to the restaurant up until 20 minutes after expected delivery time food came 30 minutes late later than expected, food was completion cold. Inedible. And I had to tip ahead of time so driver got a five dollar tip for that.

I ordered Grubhub 1 time on 12/12/2022. They have been taking $10.86 for 9 months out of my Venmo account. I didn't authorized this. I called their customer service to make a complaint and have this stop immediately. I asked for a refund they said they would only refund me for one month subscription to their program. I never signed up for a program or any subscription on their website. I ordered food once and that was it. I am now in the process of contacting Better Business Bureau and a lawyer. The customer service woman told me I could not talk to anyone else it was just her and that she would not refund me for the last 9 months subscription. And once again this is why I don't shop online and don't use these applications. They are thieves. What has this world come to. Full of scams and thieves. And they can get away with it. Who's going to put a stop to all the nonsense and people being taken advantage of us.

I ordered a meal and with that meal I ordered a few different sauces. The meal without the sauces in my opinion, I would not order. I especially would not pay extra to get that order through GrubHub and knock at the sauces that I explicitly ordered. Needless to say I ordered something did not get the sauces, I sent in a complaint, GrubHub said they would refund the sauces valued at 0.00 cents. I then said I would not have ordered it if I realized I would not have gotten the sauces much less paid extra. They then said they are sorry I'm upset and they encourage me to review my experience before the chat is closed and then immediately closed the chat so that I cannot review it. Awesome. You can tell they DEFINITELY care about the customer experience.
