“Customer help would not admit or acknowledge mistake”

Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.

I paid 60 dollar meal and and fed a stranger i called the driver several times didnt get an answer or a call back when i called grubhub about it i was told to have a nice day so i called again and they told me that there was nothing they could do and hung up on me now im pissed off and threatened to go to tik tok with my security camra footage proving i didnt get my order sad how that has power over tik tok but i get my money now in 5 days will be going to tik tok with the proof since im able to feed a stranger but i cant feed my family

The food is never delivered, i called the restaurant they said the food is ready and laying there from half hour and the food was ordered an hour and half before i called customer service the guy was really rude instead of helping me. Stupid people and stupid service. Why do they take orders hen they couldn't deliver it.

Ordered Dunkin Donuts. Order came out to 28$. They never told me The food wasnt available. So after the delivery was done. I recived no food. Uppon trying to get a refund. They gave me 8 dollars. 8 DOLLARS. They made me pay 20$ for TWO DRINKS!

Placed an order at 11:45, got a message it wouldn't be ready till 3:30. Called and spoke to customer service to cancel order and was told no it will be ready and delivered at 12:30. Along comes 12:30 and no food. Called the restaurant and food is ready they are just waiting on the driver from Grubhub. Finally I get a call from the driver at 1:29 that he just got the food but his navigation app was not working so he could not find where to go sorry he is late. I don't want food that was sitting for over an hour, never mind. Called customer service back and they said oh well they can't do anything about it they show the food was ready at 1:29. I told them yeah that is when the driver picked it up but the food was ready at 12:30 and my lunch is long over now. They can't help or even give me a refund. DO NOT USE THEM THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF>

Terrible. They got a**holes running customer service (besides Jaqui). Also, the fact that I've had to use customer service as many times as I have to hate everyone but Jaqui. (Yasmin and Tashina are c*nts.)

I've ordered from a restaurant and said my food would be ready by $11:45a. Placed my order 2 hours before hand since I knew i would be ordering a lot of food for my employees. Got a text from them saying it would be late and would arrive at 12:05p. Nothing. The restaurant ended calling me and letting me know that they were looking for the driver and had no idea where she went. I called Grubhub and they couldn't get in touch with the driver. Spoke to the manager and she apologize and said she would give me a 50% refund (which I checked and only refunded me the tax) and some kind of promo which I told no because I would never order thru them again. I paid almost $200 for food that showed up and hour after. Should of known better because we have Grubhub at work and always a problem. Will be looking for something else for sure

Ordered my food and was told 1 hour. Then it bounced back and forth adding an hour until the delivery time was just unreasonable. I called and got a refund. But they hadn't even ordered my food until 1 hour after I placed it.

We ordered food at 7pm and it said arrival would be@8:13pm. Food arrived at 9:30pm. By then I had already gone out and gotten other food. The delivery guy apologized and said that Eat24 Corporate always gives him too many orders from too many restaurants at once. In fact, restaurant had to RE-MAKE order b/c he was driving around in car so long with our food that I got cold. The restaurant was not at fault - they checked in and had given food to delivery guy a long time ago. I told the manager of the restaurant they should dump Eat24. I will do everything in my power to make sure no one orders from them again

Food arrived an hour after it said it would. One of the sauces exploded over the food and the sushi arrived warm! I watched the driver go to to the restaurant via the app and then left didnanother delivery and then came back and picked up ours and then delivered it. They only refunded the 5$ portion that was covered in sauce. If I wanted gas station quality food I would have gone and got gas station sushi. Terrible that they don't protect their customer base and get their act together. If I could 0 stars I would have as that is the quality that they attained.

We place an order tonight at 7:20 and 8:20 still no driver assigned by 9:20. We call the restaurant food is sitting there and still no driver assigned and no communication from Gruhub. They are the absolute worst!

Ordered food and the driver dropped someone elses food off and then when he was 5 min away from my house with my order the driver had canceled my order, called representative to find out why my order was canceled 5 min away from my house he said the restaurant was closed so the driver canceled it, mind you I was already tracking my order the restaurant did not close, worst customer service, and worst delivery, what type of person canceled your order 5 min away from your house, like what you stealing for

I ordered a sandwich from a restaurant 3.4 miles from my work. I tracked the delivery. My sandwich was picked up at 12:31pm and I did not receive it until 1:27pm. The delivery person delivered 2 other orders before delivering mine. I work at a hospital, I gave the address of my location and he delivered it to the wrong place. I had to walk across the hospital to the other side to get it. My sandwich was suppose to be hot and it was extremely cold. Not the first bad experience, but it will be my last.

I ordered ron two places that couldn't take my order then grubhub don't wanna refund me my money it takes 3/5 business days and then i never get my money back!… then offer me free delivery that cost 9.99 and a 5 dollar credit…. Wtf… deleted the app and here my review…. GRUBHUB SUCKS

I placed a takeout order with a local restaurant via Grubhub. I got a confirmation e-mail, but when I got to the restuarant it was closed. I called Grubhub, and they said the restaurant had confirmed the order. I was able to e-mail the restaurant owner, and he said they were closed that day, and nobody was there to confirm the order. I believe Grubhub lied and confirmed the order without checking with the restaurant. There was a credit card charge, and again I called Grubhub, and was told I would get a refund within five working days. After that time I filed a dispute with my bank. 19 days I finally got a notice from the bank that the refund had been made. I will never do business with them again.

Tip for consumers:
My tip is never to use them.

Always late, food cold, ridiculous pricing. I've ordered 12 times and order was never delivered when they first said it would be. Food was usually cold but never more than luke warm.

I ordered food using the Foodler app and the food did not arrive.

I contacted them and they said the restaurant closed and they would reach out to the restaurant the next day, then follow up with me after. Foodler support did not reach out to me all day and when I e-mailed them, they said the restaurant left the food outside, infront of my apartment building door.

Foodler said I had to contact the restaurant myself.

Other food apps such as Uber eats, would never charge a customer for food not arrived. Food being left outside infront of a building, on the floor, with no contact to the customer is very poor service.

We ordered a takeout meal via GrubHub and arrived to pick it up at the time GrubHub stated it would be ready. When we arrived, though, the restaurant was closed. We later found out from the manager that the restaurant had been closed at the time we placed the order, that the restaurant never got the order, and that GrubHub never paid them any of the $43 it charged to our credit card. We have documentation for all this, but GrubHub has refused to refund our $43.

I ordered tacos and cheese quesdilals, they arrived cold like they had been made hours ago. I almost puked eating the food. I was offered $5 in grubhub credit like you can't refund the money to my card when your service is the $#*!tiest ever? I threw the food out in the garbage. I don't care about a refund. Thanks will definitely be in business with you in the future (NOT). $#*!s.

Worst food delivery service ever, worst customer service ever. Wrong food delivered, spent 20 mins on the phone, was being told I had to tell exactly what wrong food was delivered. (!?). Eventually, they said that they wouldn't send a new driver to deliver the (correct) food, when the restaurant was willing to make it. Terrible!

We ordered from Red Robin from Grubhub today. When the food arrived we were missing an entire order and side. We called grubhub to have them get the food from Red Robin and bring it but they said all they can do is refund us and then we have to reorder. This caused us to have to tip again and my husband to have to wait another hour for his food. This is unacceptable and we shouldnt have to pay for mistakes between grubhub and the restaurant. Not to mention the additional delivery fee and taxes as well!

So, after waiting over an hour and twenty minutes, I tried to have the status of my order updated only to get an error that Eat24 couldn't update the status. Then I initiated a chat, which only took them 29 minutes to start, at which point their chat statement requested that I wait "a second" for them to check the status of my order. When I pointed out minutes later, that more than "a second" had elapsed, I got repeated chat messages stating that they just needed a second for them to check my order status.
Calling wasn't much more helpful as I was on hold for 4 minutes, then got a guy who said their system had errors tonight but he'd check my order status. Eight minutes later, he said the restaurant hadn't received my order as "their fax was down" but that the restaurant would send deliver the order in 40 minutes. This would mean that I'd be waiting over 2 hours for food, and still tipping on a horrible experience. I am disgusted with this company and will never use them again.

Forced to use GrubHub to order from NV Bakery in Waterford CT a big food order during the last hours of my father's life in a home hospice situation with family members gathered. Charged was immediately approved a process by Chase but order was put on hold by GrubHub "pending" a review from GrubHub. Total screw up by the non-professional company. If they can't handle internet orders they shouldn't be in the business.

My account was broken into and my credit card information was used to place 2 orders toaing over $100 in food several states Way from where i livd.
In the time it took to get a human being on the phone (as there is no way to report this on the site), the second order had been made. I told the customer service representative to put a stop to the order as I had not made it. She elected not to. It's been nearly a week and GrubHub is still fighting me on returning the money - even though they make it impossible to report these issues when they occur and had ample opportunity to put a stop to the 2nd transaction. A new bank card was issued to me and I will never use this service again and I recommend everyone else steer clear

I will never use this app ever again. I ordered my food at 10:05pm, the restaurant does not close until 11:00pm. I was sent an email claiming that the restaurant received and was preparing my order. I received a second email saying that my order was completed and being delivered... Then yet a third email saying that my order was being cancelled and that the restaurant was now closed. The real killer was that they could not refund my money back to me for 3 to 5 business days, which is totally unacceptable for me as a customer. I will never deal with them ever again and I am going to tell everyone that I come in contact with in Austin not to use this crappy service.

If i could leave 0 stars i would. 3 different orders, 3 different days. One order was never delivered but marked as delivered. $103 and it was for a kids party. Second order was $80 of 4 whole entrees, and only ONE appetizer- that wasnt part of our order- was in the bag that the driver said it was "all in there". Obviously didnt check. Third and last try because they gave us a 50% off coupon, joke was on us because only 50% of the food was there. How are there no repercussions or accountability?
