Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.

Arrived late night from airport. Decide to order from grubhub the first time since no restaurants around my apartment were open this late. The delivery time is 90 minutes but I waited for 3 hours with patient but the ORDER NEVER CAME!. No follow ups. Will never order Grubhub again!
Came up $20 short TWICE while using GrubHub. I had charges taken out of my banking account listed for restaurants that I NEVER ordered from. I even ended up being overdrawn due to one charge. When I made GrubHub aware of the issue they swore they had no idea where the charges came from. However, I discovered that several customers experienced the exact same issue(mysterious charges for GrubHub from restaurants they never ordered from). Seems to be a part of Grubhub's routine. I promptly removed my credit card info the second time around and cancelled my account. I will NEVER use GrubHub again. I'm not an ATM and I DEFINITELY do not have money to burn. This is literally NOT what I signed up for. Hell will freeze before I ever use this delivery service again!
I ordered a pizza at 6:00pm and I paid with Paypal. Sometime after 7pm I got a text saying my order was cancelled. I tried calling grubhub and was told the wait would be more than 5 mins wait. So I switched to paypal and was told the money was on hold for three days. As usual I am broke and that was my dinner money so I tried grubhub back and after about 5 minutes I got a live person. I was told that the restaurant in question did not have a delivery driver and they had already refunded and that was all they could do. I told her what i could do is not use their website anymore. She got kind of snotty and said "that is your choice." So I have no money, no dinner, but rather a promise from an unrealibale company that I will get my money back in 3 days. I would warn against spending your bottom dollar with these guys. They might just keep it.
Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Placed an order for almost $100.00, recieved an email order was cancelled, called to speak with a rep who couldn't find our order who then hung up on me. We then get an email stating we will recieve a refund in 5-10 days with no explanation as to why our order was cancelled. So we ordered through Door dash and had no issues.
I used Eat24 for the first time today, and it's my last.
I received no e-mail confirmation of my carryout order, and the instant chat service on the site was not working.
I called the restaurant after 30 minutes and learned my order had been waiting, and was cold. And a substitution request on one of the items never was communicated.
I finally received that e-mail confirmationan hour after I'd finished eating my dinner.
When I returned to the Eat24 site to send a comment, I received an auto generated message that the chat service was excptionally busy, so could still not make a connection.
This is definitely far less efficient than picking up a phone to place an order for carryout or delivery.
Pretty much, they suck. Royally. They do not care about their customers. Make sure you don't ever mistype your address because if the delivery driver goes to the wrong place only 1 mile away and they call and you apologize and give them the correct address and tell them you'll add to the tip for the inconvenience and thank them... still they'll be petty and just cancel your order without telling you this and block your number. I had to call customer service to find out that my order was cancelled and being refunded (But the company doesn't refund the drivers tip you input online so she got to keep that) and the refund for your order takes 5 days to come back to your bank account. I asked customer service where my order was taken and they said "It's in a trash can somewhere now." HOW WASTEFUL! That was a lot of food. Also, that was all the money I had to buy food tonight so I'm broke and hungry and HANGRY! Glad I get paid tomorrow but this was STRESSSFUL! Never again. Deleted the app!
I was a driver for Grubhub, I done multiple deliveries that I was never paid for. And then they deactivated my account. I was told the only way they help with driver payment issue is to send an email that they don't answer for 5-7 days. If they answer at all. The 1 or 2 times they answered back no one knew anything and they can't help me. GrubHub suck and their customer service is horrible. They don't pay their drivers ( in my case). And not willing to try to fix the problem. DO NOT USE GRUBHUB! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
I got a violent grubhub delivery guy who sent us threatening texts when we asked him not to leave our food on the floor, which he did. I sent the texts to GRUBHUB and they IGNORED the email. That's right! THEY IGNORED US AND TOOK ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM. THEY ARE THE BY FAR THE WORST COMPANY I'VE EVER DEALT WITH. I've posted some of the driver's texts. Placed an order that never came and showed as delivered by JERIC in HONOLULU. Tried calling him... no luck. Called customer support. She was useless. Asked to speak to her supervisor and of course, couldn't be reached either. Not sure what kind of organization these clowns are running but AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Say the same thing every time. Cancel order and card will be credited in 2-5 business days. The CEO Mike Maloney should be be canned. Never using these POS's again.
I ordered from a restaurant a few blocks away from me. The order had not come after over an hour although it was supposed to be deliver within 30-50 minutes. I contacted grub hub and they said their delivery person tried to deliver the order but could not. They had my correct address and my correct phone number. They never tried to contact me. They never rang the buzzer and NEVER tried to call me. They probably ate my food a=or tossed it somewhere! The restaurant TORIBEi said it was not their problem because they gave the order to the delivery person, so they could not reimburse me. Grubhud said they would refund me 50%! I NEVER got the food and I am supposed to pay 50% of the food I never gotten!?!? What a terrible customer service! I have never seen that before. Caviar would reimburse you no question asked! Shame on them! I should call the police it is stealing from people! What a shame! I am paying money for a meal I never got not for anything I did!
Place an order for Togo's through GrubHub. It was suppose to be delivered by 11:45am (mind you this is for a company meeting) 12:15pm. NOTHING so I called Togo's and was informed that the order is still siting there waiting to get picked up! Basically the driver was a no show so the Togo's manager was nice enough to personally delivery it to us himself. No email or text from GrubHub was ever sent explaining what happened.
GubHub is the WORST delivery service ever. Instead of delivering our $100 order of sushi, we instead received a kebab and hummus. The Japanese sushi restaurant we ordered from DOESN'T even MAKE kebabs. While we got a full refund, customer service was $#*! and "cannot authorize discounts on re-orders." So I guess this is a company that could give a $#*! if you go hungry because you don't eat meat.

GrubHub food delivery is literally the worst.
My mother placed an online order for KFC which uses GrubHub as a third party at 5:16. It said the order would be ready at 5:23. I arrive 15 minutes after 5:23 to pick up my order. I called the restaurant number as instructed but my phone said user busy. After 10 minutes of this, I called GrubHub which told me to go through the drive-thru and KFC will get my order. Well it turns out, KFC never even got my order. GrubHub never sent it through. By now it was almost 6 due to both the long wait in the drive-through and multiple tries to call KFC. I was told to pull over and just wait and it will come. By the time I was finally able to get out, it had been almost an hour since my mother placed our order. I was able to talk to an employee who reported that they still haven't received it. After this my mother canceled the order. So in conclusion not only was my order not ready when GrubHub said it was but it wasn't even sent to KFC in the whole hour I was there. $#*! GrubHub.

Ive had so many issues n most of them r w the customer service. My husband worked 4 them as well until one day he wasnt able 2 log on and they had ended his contract wo any notice n then lied saying he wasnt working all, shifts which was bs. We both were working 7 days 12 hrs a day. Then they short ur miles 24-7 n then scdew ur orders up so ur pay is $#*!ed up everytime. The when i work app is non sence n always messes up so u cant get alot of shifts. Way over staffed n most people are working under their friends or better halfs names which is not legal. Yet grub hub still here even tho so many workers and customers hate the company i called 2 tell them stores r giving us food in bite squad bags. They need to provide bags 4 stores. She said stop looking at it from a corp level. Lol $#*! its my level the more orders i get the more i make. People r gonna start usen bite squad if their food comes n the bag. Common sence... pos company cant wait to see them fail.
To run one of the largest delivery companies in the us youd think youd need a comprable customer service model. Restaurants opinions taking precident over customer concerns alongside poor communication is in fact what youll receive though.
Dont use grub hub if you expect to ever have aid on an incorrect or missing order.
Again this new driver drops my food on the driveway and leaves. A business model that reaps.profits without any responsibility is not long for this world.
I've been waiting 1 hour, 45 minutes since ordering. It was supposed to be here an hour ago. Every time I checked, it was another 30 minutes. Eventually, it was cancelled without any reason. Now, I'm starving, PO'd, and they're refunding me in 3-5 business days? IT'S FRIDAY NIGHT! They're keeping my money for a week?

First and foremost customer service is overseas in Afghan or Indian countries. 2nd several calls to get my refund for an order I didn't recieve through Betoulis pizza in Philadelphia pa was fraud. An amount of $ 56.92 was charged both merchant and service was in agreement. Here the twist I went slam off the grid come find out city of brotherly love ain't your brother... lol cs reps got roosters crowing in background tapping hard aimlessly on fake keyboards. Ordered food. Got a text saying food is here. Food wasn't. Driver never responded to calls or text. Called customer service. They offered no explanation to why driver didnt bring food. They reordered from the same place, same order. Food never came, driver never responded to text or calls. Starving at this point and customer service offered a refund and coupons. Called corporate. They offered coupons, not an explanation, not outrage, not any solutions. All the drivers had to do was answer the phone. I would have met them. Door dash is better.
We ordered food through Grub hub this evening & my card was charged 4 times with erroneous charges & it took over 3 hours for my order to be delivered. Never ordering again.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS BUSINESS after calling the restaurant and finding out our food been sitting there for over an hour, I contacted the driver and got no response. I contacted Grubhub and they gave me some lame response. An hour later, still no food now we have waited a total of 3 1/2 hours for the food. They asked if we still wanted to wait. I said no because now we have already gone out and ordered a new round of food. And then I find out, that they had canceled the order 45 minutes prior because there was something wrong with the delivery window. This is not a good company to deal with they do not know how to run a business. This is apparent with the fact that they have a one star. It's not worth it go get it yourself or is it another delivery service but don't waste your time
Yes you get the convenience of having your food delivered but the prices and fees are outrageously asinine. Absolutely not worth it. Won't ever use Grub Hub again.
