“Customer help would not admit or acknowledge mistake”

Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.

You were by go to since I refuse to use ROTR, but now, after your Trump comments Mr. CEO, your company has offically lost my business. I don't care who your support, but to tell your employees that if they support someone you don't they should resign, well that's too much! So I'm going to resign by not ever using you again.

I was getting a delivery from a restaurant. The driver came up along-side my truck and pushed past a small tree and I said to her "I wish you hadn`t come through there. She said the sprinklers were on, on the other side of the truck by the gate. Than she said I should have put that in my "Special " instructions. I said "I didn`t think I had too. She then handed me my food and walked back down the other side of the truck where the water was on. I said "Don`t get wet". She turned and said "F_ck -You". I asked "what did you say?" she said you heard me {swore again"}. I called her work and they let me speak to a supervisor. She asked what happened? After I explained what happened I got the impression that I was wrong! And she was exonerated.

I ordered my food and was waiting over an hour and a half when I decided to call the store. They said they never even recieved my order. When I wrote to eat24 they said that it was because my card was declined when I had clearly selected that I was paying with cash, and I have the email confirmation to prove it. They didnt even try to fix the matter accordingly, or professionally. Bunch of clowns.

Placed an order through Grubhub for food from the Boston Burger Company in Somerville, MA. The order was prepared and given to the driver but 20 minutes later we got a message from grubhub saying the driver would not make the delivery and canceled our order. I called Grubhub but they seemed to not care at all and would not tell me why the order was canceled.

After reading the derogatory comments about the President Elect made by your idiot CEO, I will no longer use GrubHub to deliver food. I would rather drive 100 miles both ways in a snow storm before giving that liberal asshat another dime out of my pocket.

I have ordered from Grub Hub for delivery an average of 15 times each month for the last 4 months. Often there is a missing item because they do NOT have their drivers check to ensure all of the items are in the order. I have complained each time and have received a refund and tonight another item was missing from my order and they would not honor the refund of 8 dollars and indicates that I reached my max of refunds. I deleted my app and can no longer trust this company. Having your integrity questioned and implying I lie because of their error is unacceptable! They basically now have stolen 8 dollars for an item I did not receive and further more they do not accept photos and if they did it would show the receipt from the restaurant has all the ordered items crossed off on the receipt on bag except the missing item, once again proving it was missing! Unbelievable! Don't use them in Fort Myers, FL or anywhere for that matter unless they hold the drivers accountable for checking orders before they leave the restaurant!

Thank you for finally voiding my order and making me wait 5 business days to receive my refund.

Thank you for stating I would receive free food even though you actually sent me a 20% off code.

Finally, thank you, so much, for hiring dolts whom cannot manage to wake up and go to work in the morning.

I deleted my Grubhub account because the past 3 orders were over 2 hours late, and one of them never even arrived. I waited about 2.5 hours for my food that I ordered around 1pm (before I had to attend a 3pm meeting) for it not to arrive at all. The driver called me at around 2pm and said he was on his way and will be there in 20 minutes. Not even 5 minutes later, he marked my order as delivered. I called the driver back twice, and he never answered. He probably ate my food and I hope the company did something about it. $#*! those workers at Grubhub and other delivery services who literally steal customers' food and then lie about it getting delivered. I ended up starving and getting a pulsing headache during my meeting and then ate lunch at almost 5pm that day. So is Grubhub worth it? After the prior experiences waiting 2 hours for my food, this was the last straw. No, it's not worth it. I'm glad I got a full refund, and I'm especially glad that I will never use Grubhub again.

I ordered from this grub hub delivery app and the black guy driver on camera stole my granddaughters fries. He ate them and never included them in the bag. Left the bag outside on porch and was half way up the street before I could check my order! BEWARE OF THESE PEOPLE DELIVERING YOUR FOOD! PLEASE Use DOORDASH first!

I was out of town for work and ordered from GrubHub because I was not familiar with the area. It took over an hour and a half to arrive. Was ice cold, had no fork, knife or napkin. I ordered a southwest omelet with mixed fruit and wheat bread. I received the omelet minus the sour cream, the mixed fruit was just cantaloupe with 2 grapes and banana bread. No butter for the banana bread. When I contacted customer service they offered me a refund for the sour cream. I will not use the service again!

I find it disturbing that I am a loyal Grubhub customer and waited from an order placed at 6:15pm-7:41pm and still never received it the driver told customer service they dropped my order off at the office... there is no office I live in a house which means they took it to another house In my neighborhood, I think that's very very unprofessional. I deserve something more than a refund I am a pregnant mother of 2 who is on bed rest and relied on Grubhub to follow through with my order. I honestly feel like the driver ate my order. Smh

I tried to make a call-in order to Las Margartitas in Seattle. I called the phone number on the website, but it was grubhub that answered. I didn't know this; they did not disclose this information. This is fraud. They should leave Seattle.
Grubhub made it EXTREMELY difficult to order. It took me several times trying to clarify my order, and they still messed it up. I ordered 4 items; I got 3. Of the 3 I received, 1 was correct. Out of 4 items, they got 1 correct. 25%.
Even worse, Las Margaritas looks bad. Fortunately, the manager there very professionally explained how I was swindled by Grubhum. We order from Las Margaritas frequently, and will continue to do so; I do not hold them responsible for Grubhub's incompetence for fraudulent business practices.
What I learned: when I call in for an order, I will confirm I am NOT talking with Grubhub. Our local restaurants deserve better than Grubhub; it's difficult enough for them with out the fraudulent practices of Grubhub.

Tip for consumers:
Always ask if you're talking with the restaurant or Grubhub. If it's Grubhub, hang up and try again. Do not give Grubhub any business.

This is the second time that GrubHub had not delivered my order! The first time I thought OK, we all make mistakes, but today it happened again and when I contacted them about where my order was, I was told by Carmen, a customer service rep. That it showed the order had been delivered. When I explained that I had not received it she told me that she cancelled my order and would send me a link to subscribe to a GrubHub subscription. I explained that I didn't want a subscription, I wanted my lunch and she told me there was nothing she could do about that and I could just re-order.

I used this piece of $#*! app to place TWO $#*!en orders, I got charged for the food AND they gave a useless confirmation code but none of the the restaurants received any thing... went to pick up my stuff but wasn't ready.

I ordered my meal at 7:16 and was told to expect it in 35-45 minutes. At 8:56 I contacted my driver asking about my order. He texted me back at 9:11 saying he had my food and would arrive in 15 minutes. At 9:37 Grubhub contacted me saying my order was canceled because the restaurant had closed. When I called Grubhub customer service they said "sorry they were closed try tomorrow because we will have more drivers". She couldn't explain why my driver said he had my order and was on the way.

We watched the driver on the map, pick up our food and go to another address. We called twice and he didn't answer. We texted and he said he was stopping at home first. He stayed there for 15 minutes( way out of the way from our home, a total time from pick up to dilevery of less than 3 miles was almost an hour) and we texted him that we were uncomfortable accepting the food(that would have been cold anyway), and for him not to come. He came anyway and said that the food wasn't ready so he stopped at home and than went back to get it. But we had watched him come straight from his house to our house. Very unhappy. Im not sure what could have been done to the food at his house and thought that was extremely inapropriate thing to do.

I put in an order over at KFC for pick up and then they said they don't accept GrubHub orders at all and when I called Grubhub they gave me either 3 to 5 business day bull$#*! and honestly would not refund my money in the same Zack day when I got completely screwed over because they put on a place that does not have an honor their service and it's still on there as well but as of right now for KFC for pick up where they do not honor it from Grubhub at all

Tip for consumers:
I would not use this service ever again and when I finally do get my money back and I’m definitely gonna get my money back real soon I ensure them that I will be deleting their service and telling everyone exactly how I was treated through that whole entire thing and how that they will still continue to keep it up on their app while it’s not even working thanks

Products used:
Are use Grubhub to go to KFC try get some food and then KFC says they don’t honor GrubHub as a service for them by GrubHub still keeps it up on there as if they do

All the way out in Texas from California. Ordered food to be delivered and shortly after they received my money I was sent a text saying "the company you selected (the one they said delivered) doesn't have any drivers available, can you pick up your order"

How smart do you have to be to have somewhat of an idea what your restaurants delivery times are. Guy calls off work and I get screwed. NEVER USING THIS AGAIN... Oh yea and my money will be returned in like 5 days -_-

I placed an order for Papa John on Grubhub. It was about $133 and after I placed the order I realized I forgot sauces! So I went back and it said edit order so I added the sauces and submitted the order again. It showed up as 2 different orders instead of adding to the previous one.
I called Papa John's about it and the guy said I was just about to call you and I explained what happened, I said do I need to cancel it or anything and he says no your good.
Then awhile later the driver called confused over the situation, and I explained to him and he seemed unsure what to do but just got the one order like I said.
Now we seen the authorization for the 2 amounts and I thought the one we didn't get would fall off. But nope we were charged.
So I get ahold of grubhub and chatted with someone who said to bad it's been over 48 hours since the order so they can't do anything. I said I need a manger bc I'm not being charged for something I didn't get.
The manger basicly said the same thing and I told them they are thieves and stealing.
She eventually offered me a credit to grubhub for $133 and I said no I will never used this service again.
Terrible customer service, its copy paste responses. And didn't care that they stole our money. I mean at the end of the day we got charged about 270 bucks for 3 stuffed crusted pizza and some dipping sauces from Papa John's.
I would not trust this company with any of your personal information. If you get double charged they won't do anything but keep the money.
A disgusting company!
I wonder how many people they do this too!

I've used grubhub twice. Both times there were major problems. The first time the driver failed to check my order and one entree was missing. Unless he ate it. Grubhub refused to send him back, would not waive fees or delivery. Second time, I placed an order that showed up on hour late. I phoned the restaurant and found that grubhub had not assigned a driver. I called grubhub and was asked if I wanted to cancel my order. Sheesh... I was hangry at that point. Grubhub assigned a driver and my food arrived one hour later. For the outrageous fees, my food should have arrived early, hot and delicious. My food was late, the food was warm but sucked... ugh

Ordered food at 7:50pm estimated delivery of 8:40pm which was long for a Denny's a mile away. Food arrived at 9:45pm an hour later than estimate. Food was ice cold. Found out after driver sped off I was missing one of my appetizers from the order. Reached out to customer service and they offered a $10 coupon for my next order. As if I would use this service again...

Yesterday May 7th 2020 was my first time planning an order with Grubhub. I waited 2 hours for my food only to get a call saying the driver delivered my food to some other customer. Then I get asked if I wanted to reorder. HELL TO THE NO!
At the tail end of things they wouldn't offer me anything to keep me as a customer.

GrubHub is terrible placed an order more than an hour ago, they charged my credit card immediately, the restaurant did not get the order, called customer service and waited 35 minutes for someone to answer, they were not helpful at all asked for a manager and back on hold for 30 minutes!

TERRIBLE!

1/16/16 at 5.30 pm the wife and I ordered Pizzaria Uno in Pickerington Ohio. Through GrubHub.
2hrs after ordering we tried to call the restaurant to inquire about the order. After 10 min of busy signals I call another location to possibly have a manager call an unlisted back line to have that store call us. Guess what? The Pickerington store has closed it's doors.
Now to call GrubHub. Got nothing but "Blah Blah... We're so sorry. WE SENT YOU AN E-MAIL AT 5:35". What no phone call? How long till our CC charges are reversed? Up to a week? Tee-Total Bull$#*!.
NEVER USE GRUBHUB
