Check your receipts. Past month Grubhub has been increasing service fee after order delivered when charge posts to account. Food price, tax and tip stay same, but their service fee increases. For example when orders placed fee $4. Final charge then $4.80. How is this not illegal? Beware!
From a HOA order: Tulsa, OK delivery to 450 W 7th St Tulsa OK t approximately 8:15pm on 8/14/21 drive in a red Toyota Corolla tag number JZK-513 parked in a No Parking zone across the entry drive on a sidewalk that can not bear the weight of an auto. I am a director on the property and I went outside and told him he couldn't park there and told him to move his car but he blatantly ignored me. I then again instructed the driver to move the vehicle but he refused. I called the security guard and while I was gone he told one of our employees I was crazy. Our employee then told him I was correct he needed to move his car. Our employee is a witness to the incident.
Grubhub should fire this driver, period.

I downloaded the GrubHub app because I usually use doordash and I wanted to try different options. I ordered at 6:00 p.m. and the restaurant confirmed my order. I waited till 7:30 and called in to check and see where my order was because it was extremely late. When I realized that the person I was chatting with Oliver was just a bot who had no real answers to any of my questions. All they said was your food will be arriving in 20 minutes cancel order? So I called to speak to a real person and also mention that I didn't ever receive a coupon for a first time order, none of the codes would go through. The guy put me on hold and said that he would give me a credit for my next order. I kindly let him know that I would not be ordering again and to please research where my food was. He put me on hold for about a minute and then hung up. I called back pretty upset this time and let her know that I would like my order canceled. I could see that the driver had finally made it to the restaurant and picked up my order 2 hours late. So my food had been sitting there for 2 hours and it was soggy and they would be no way that I would ever eat that food. That is my first and last experience with GrubHub. Also I asked when my refund would process since my payment went out of my bank account right away, The agent told me 5 days but she had already begun processing the refund. We'll see. This company is an absolute rip-off and I would never ever recommend that anyone use GrubHub. Just stick with door dash. All of you restaurants using GrubHub you really should switch the door dash this is an issue.
Great idea but some of the people who deliver are just sooooo slow and food takes quite a while to get to you, when it does its cold and not so great!
Had the worst experience EVER with grub hub. I ordered from chili hots and just got a regular wrap combo. Nothing crazy. On the grub hub app you can see where your driver is and it said the driver never even left chili hots when the order was ready. The order was supposed to be delivered between 1:50-2:00.20 minutes passes by and i see my order was "delivered" but clearly it wasn't. So i call grub hub customer service and and they say that there is nothing they can do about it except give me a 50% off coupon for the NEXT TIME I ORDER?! There is no way i will ever be using grub hub again because I DID NOT GET MY FOOD AND I AM OUT 20 DOLLARS. Ridiculous.
Charged my account. Didn't place my order. Claimed to not be able to find the charges. Customer service was completely lackluster and barely gave a $#*!.
I used the site Eat 24 to order my food from Pizza Walley in Decatur, GA. I paid for my food via the website. The amount incuded a $2.50 delivery fee. This means, 100% of the time the food is delivered to your door. I don't know where they get these drivers, but he couldn't fine my complex. Although other restaurant drivers can get to me with no problem. He didn't even try hard enough to find me. I came out of my apartment driveway, approx. 25 ft to the right was a major road. Crossing that road I met him in McDonald's lot. So exiting my driveway I was at him in LESS THAN 100ft.! Remember, I paid a delivery fee. NEVER WILL THEY GET MY BUSINESS AGAIN.
I have had it with Grubhub! Shame on me for the last time for using their service in the Fort Myers, FL area.
I feel bad for the restaurants who utilize their service. Unfortunately, and as a DIRECT result of GrubHub, I can no longer order from those establishments, if GrubHub is the delivery service.

So I order off Grubhub on 11/15/2022 at 6pm my first order was never delivered and I decided to reorder at 8pm my delivery said between 8:59 and 9pm the restaurant closed at 9:20pm. I never got the delivery the. Driver did not show up until 9:23 pm and canceled the second driver at 9:39pm I wasted 3 hours waiting for food for them to only off me 5 dollars. I will never use this service again.
This is how I got my food last night from the Grubhub driver. The box of the wings I ordered was nasty, filthy on the outside. Looks like driver dropped our food and put it back in the box.
Well, I have just had my second worst experience ordering from Grub Hub. My first was a couple months ago when after 2 and a half hours I still did not receive my food. I called Moe's and was told their tablet was down and they never received my order. This time my delivery driver did not deliver my food because there was no parking on the street. The food was not even returned to the store. After multiple calls to Grub Hub who already had my money, they refunded $35.00 of my $35.68 order in the form of two promo emails. One for $25.00 and the second for $10.00 which that I could use on a future order stating that since the driver attempted deliver they could not refund my money. WHAT? So I attempted to place my order again and when I went to check out, Grub Hub would only allow me to use one of the two promo codes which caused me to pay even more money for my food. The restaurant called me upon receipt of my second order to ask if I received my food. Nope. I explained what happened and was informed that the driver never returned the food to them or let them know there was a problem with the delivery. I also had a issue with Grub Hub a couple of weeks ago when their driver called and stated there was no parking and I needed to come outside and down the block to get my food from their car.
2.5 hours after ordering, my food had not yet arrived I contacted someone via chat to check on the order. They told me that the order would be there shortly. I wait and check back to track my order and it says it has been delivered, so I call. They said it showed that it had been delivered and that they are going to contact management and give me a call back. No one calls back, so I call again (it has now been 3.5 hours), after being on hold for 15 min someone finally answers and tells me that the driver waited outside for 20 min and tried calling, but something was wrong with the phone. I asked why they did not come to the door and they replied that at this time of night they do not feel comfortable with that! They then proceed to tell me that I will not be getting my food and they will issue a refund. I want the food not the money! I told her that I will no longer be a customer and she just replies with okay. A manager should have contacted me! Guess I am going to bed hungry and angry.
We ordered from KFC through Grubhub food delivery. After 45 minutes, we went to the grubhub site and it showed guy delivered food. We wondered why no food. We then checked our parking lot surveillance cameras and saw this guy eating our food in his car.We called the driver who's name was Archie, asking him why he is eating our food and he said because we did not come out to the parking lot and pick it up. Wow can you believe this...

Update... We called and spoke to Luis today as to why there delivery guy sat out in our parking lot eating our food we ordered for 12 people. He told us they can do that or whatever they like if we do not pickup our food. Then we ask if this is new thing that they drop our food off in the parking area if we do not come out and get it and he said yes. So Even though we pay $6 to have our food delivered, they will only go as far as the curb or parking area unless we request otherwise. So heads up everyone if you do not tell them to come to your home, delivery fee or not, they drop your food in parking lot or at the curb. Wow... how screwed up is that. I just hope they go out of business and soon.
GrubHub gets its cash/cut up front at the order, grabs 'tip' to pay the driver at the same time, then leaves the transaction to sort of settle.
I placed an order for the two of us for in-house dinner last evening with a reliable local restaurant through GrubHub, paid up front with all taxes fees and tips.
The restaurant called me upon notification of the order from GrubHub as one of the main course plates was not available. I ordered a different course.
Upon delivery, I was charged for the non-available plate, replacement plate (both not delivered), as well as our non-available delivered shared dessert plate. I called twice to try and rectify with the restaurant, they could not care less - already got the GrubHub cash.
The well-tipped driver (GrubHub extorts the tip in advance) could not have cared less to check the order at the restaurant.

Grubhub Always insanely late. Always cold food. The drivers never make it to my door and can't follow simple directions. Considering what you pay, it is far from worth it to use.
My driver picked up my food. About 10 minutes later I get a message saying there is a delay. 20 more minutes go by. I send a quick message asking if there is a problem as I can see she is stopped a few blocks away and has been for about 15 minutes. About 5 minutes later she responds that she will arrive in 5 minutes. I wait... and wait. 15 minutes later I look outside and sitting on the ground on my porch is my food. No knock, no anything. You can see my notes clearly ask to at least hang my food on the door and knock. My food has already been sitting so now the hot food is cold and the cold food is warm. I send a message to the driver and state that I am surprised she left my food on the ground and didn't even knock as its right on the notes and send a pic of the receipt taped to the bag! She responds with a barrage of insults calling me a rude man (im a woman) accusing me of treating her like a maid (because I expected her to do her job and calling me a "$#*!ty. American"! I guess she forgot she is living in America and working for an American Company while being paid by Americans. Probably not paying American taxes though. When I called GrubHub to complain I assumed they would immediately pull her off the road. They simply said they were laity for the inconvenience". I imagine if I was in any other environment and was talked to by an employee like that they would be given the boot so quickly their head would spin. But apparently GrubHub supports this kind of behavior. So be on the lookout for this American hating driver. She's very entitled for someone who hates it here so much.

After waiting an hour and a half for our food the restaurant informed us a grubhub driver refused to deliver. By the time we received our order it was cold and incomplete.
Third time using Grubhub, and the third time they've screwed up the order, charged me for the screw up, and refused to refund my money.
Tonight I paid $20 for a burger and onion rings from a fast food restaurant. They were both cold. And I wasn't even at the White House.
I'd ordered a burger, onion rings and a milkshake. No milkshake came, and I was told at customer service that *I* must have made a mistake when I sent in the order. I told her "I ordered through YOUR app, so it's not ME that made the mistake."

GrubHub makes no effort to look out for customers. They take orders and skim the profit--but if the restaurant fails to deliver they do nothing to help. Has happened 4 times now.
I ordered my food at 5:39 pm, after I submitted payment and got my confirmation it showed it would be delivered between 7:20-7:30 pm. Then a few minutes later I received an email that it would be delivered sooner (6:50 pm). WRONG! I called at 7:20 and the gal told me that the driver would be there in 10-12 mins, when I asked why it was taking so long she said that they were low on drivers then tried to blame the restaurant that they were busy. It's Wednesday night, really? I did get a 50% refund. Then when my food arrived, not only was the food cold, my drinks were hot (like they had been sitting in a car in the 80 degree Texas heat), but the order was incomplete. So I get online to chat with customer service and the delivery service only approved them to refund part of my order, they are not authorized to refund all of it. She did send me a coupon for $10 on my next order. Why in the world would I want to order from you again? BS, I'm now contacting the delivery company and stopping payment on my credit card. This is the worst, do not ever use Grub Hub. I even point blank told them that if the 3rd party delivery service is causing these types of issues, it reflects upon their business. You might want to rethink this if you plan to make money.
I ordered food and something was not delivered correctly. That would not bother me. But spent an hour and a half trying to get GrubHub to correct the problem at the end of which (an hour and a half later) they told me they would contact the restaurant to see if it would refund my money. Order was never received by the restauraunt yet my account was charged and no one was able to help me via their "24/7 chat" and after calling their 1-800 number 20 times with only a busy signal, I was out 22 dollars and no dinner. NEVER EVER USING GRUB HUB AGAIN.
I ordered from foodler for the first time waited 2 hours to have no delivery arrive. My order said completed on my account, I called the restaurant to be told they never received my order. After 20 minutes on the phone with foodler I was informed my order had been canceled (without notifying me) because of a possible link to another account with suspicious activity. I had never ordered from them before, so had no idea what this link was. I was livid when I checked my bank account to see my account had been charged a total of 3 times for the order I never received. A financial manager called me back after 4 messages over 6 days, to inform me their "link" was that my credit card had the same first 4 numbers as another customers card who had possible suspicious activity on their account. Are you kidding me? Guess what Foodler you need to google a BIN, me and a million other people have cards from Bank of America starting with the same numbers! They were kind enough to give me an account credit, which I tried to use, but the same thing happened again, however this time my order was canceled because my account has been suspended, due to it being linked to an account with possible suspicious activity. So I cant even use my refund credit. I have seen so many reviews that are the same as mine, This company is the worst, they should leave credit card security to my credit card security department, and focus on delivering food.
